Luke and Revan are the most powerfull Jedi simply becuase they are the only ones that achieved balance in the force, Revan being the first GREY Jedi becuase of his memory wipe, and Luke the TRUE grey Jedi because of his training to accept love and emotion as part of the light side and not the dark side, hence being able to truly excel as a jedi, just like Revan.
Hardly disagreed about Anakin being number 8. Yes, Anakin wasn't nearly at his ful potential BUT he was already more powerful than Obi Wan in Revenge of the Sith. He lost to Obi Wan due to over confidence. Also Obi Wan knew that he would eventually get beaten by Anakin, which is why he took the fight into a more and more dangerous area over time, where both could die. Also Anakin beat Dooku, Obi Wan not so much. Imo. Anakin is the 4th most powerful Jedi ever, behind Grandmaster Luke, Yoda and Mace Windu.

Even if you stick to what has been shown in movies and/or the TV-series, it's incredibly hard to argue that Anakin is "more powerful" than Obi-Wan. Did Anakin have the highest potential, raw power inside of him? Yes, possibly. Most likely even. Being powerful however also requires you to channel and use that power in a correct way. Over the movies and now series we've seen Obi-Wan perform way greater feats of power than Anakin ever has, plus saw Anakin / Darth Vader get destroyed by Obi-Wan in a straight-up conversation twice. It's truly the tragic story of wasted potential versus maximum power due to diligent improvement.

The reason Obi Wan could duel Anakin so long is because, like we also saw in the Kenobi Series, they know each others fighting style more than anyone. He knew Anakins style all too well. Does this mean that Obi Wan is equal to or even stronger than Anakin? Most certainly not. Anakin was far from his best in that fight (very conflicted and over confident, he even thought he was already more powerful than Sidious, which is not true obviously).
Jaina was more or less the sword of the Jedi much like Windu was back in the day and she was ultimately the one who defeated Jacen so I think it should be her on the list...

He was at his prime when he was a sith lord and when he became the prodigal knight. Access to both light and dark and his skills with a lightsaber would have been at the highest level at that time.

I always want to fight the idea anakin was one of the greatest jedi...as in my.opinion his actions prove he couldn't handle power and skill as a jedi. His emotional weaknesses and personality make him incapable of being thst powerful as a jedi. Gauge him how you will as a sith....but he couldn't really obtain the role of master as a jedi. Maybe he didn't fail in skill...but he failed in the absolute fundamentals of being a jedi

I have watched many power ranking videos and most of them will have Anakin ranked way to high using the excuse that if at full potential he would be #1 but the guy never made full potential and even so having him above Kenobi is just criminal but you got this one just right and you are the only one that gave Mace Windu a proper ranking being that his power level was still on the rise while Yoda was in decline. Im in total agreement with your list especially with your top 5 but I would have just one disagreement and that is that I believe that Count Dooku should have somewhere near Kenobi and Anakin!

Plo Koon with raw power and dueling ability outmatched Obi Wan in every way. Also the only Jedi ever able to defeat Yoda in the dueling arena. Now really think about this, Yodas midichlorian count was higher than anyone other than Anakin even Mace, and Mace could never defeat Yoda in a duel. So on raw potential and actual skill and ability surpassed Mace Windu! You don't even have Plo Koon on the list at all and with hard facts to back me up I have Plo in the top five and Mace doesn't surpass Yoda, period.
I am sooooooo happy that people are now acknowledging that Luke was the most powerful force-user in history.....he and Leia literally inherited the same Midi-chlorian count and force-potential as Anakin)....was mostly self taught and learned that LOVE and attachment were pivotal in life....he learned from two of the greatest Jedi in history, he believed in everyone and was empathetic, caring, forgiving, looked at the best of others despite their faults and dark-side alignment, and redeemed the Chosen One (his father who was once the most feared and intimidating individuals that the galaxy has EVER seen) back to the light-side....He was the EPITOME of what a TRUE Jedi should be....Most powerful mortal in the history of Star Wars by far!

IMO, Yoda's Force power was best shown in the battle of Coruscant when he smashed up the Battle Droid Dropships ("The Jedi have the left" scene). Much better example than pulling an X-Wing out ofvthe swamp. Overall, your video has a good analysis.

The Greatest thing about Galen Marek is what we are missing in canon. Fans that are more aknowledged about lore know what Im talking about. Sidious himself descriped it as he is raping the force, unlike jedi who are chanelling force through focus, guidenece, calmness or agression pain and so on as siths do. Galen actually uses the force as it is and he doesnt recognize light or dark side of it. His raw power is impressive but even more impressive is how he uses it.
we did see full on light side anakin in the Mortis episodes of clone wars I think it was the first episode where he controlled the brother and the sister at the same time

Sad she didn’t get much screen time in the movies besides order 66, but I first liked her back when I played her in the Battlefront games. Would love to see how strong she really was. Great list, I don't agree with some of the individual rankings but all in all, a really great list and video with some good arguments to ponder! If it in terms of power, yoda would be higher and obi would be lower, i love obi wan but if you read the comics and other info, he always had a weak connection with the force and almost was transfered to the farms if qui gon didnt accept him. Literally everything he had was all from pratice and never giving up and got stronger

I always wished we got a version of Star Wars where Anakin reached his potential as a sith lord. I know that would be such a scary thing to witness. Anakin crushing planets and xwings etc with the force. Seeing him hovering over the ground towards a Jedi with the sith eyes using force powers we've never witnessed on the big screen. He'd surely be unstoppable so that would make it one-sided but I still think it would be dope to see even just briefly
It truly would be amazing I think a show where he never turned to the dark side would be better imo but in a way of they made a show with him evil or hood it’d probably he boring there would be literally no one to rival him the only reason he wasn’t as strong as palpatine in the movies was because his suit was purposely compromised by palpatine to make him weaker and angrier

Just getting to see Anakin at full potential in general would be a nice treat. Him as a mega powerful Sith lord and Yoda getting to live longer and train Luke for decades would be great cuz he would get to go up against his father at them both being full potential. The script would have to add a new character that was extremely powerful or bring in beings like Abaloth, or give someone a cheat in power to make them somewhat rival him. Which would be boring as a movie, I agree on that part. But a short flick of it or an episode would be great to see briefly.

full potential Anakin in the Mortis arc is the strongest force user in canon. Of course, he had the benefit of being on Mortis and he never achieved that potential, but considering he’s basically the Force incarnate, the way he ragdolled the Son and Daughter is such a brilliant feat. Just like the Father stated, Anakin was way beyond the concept of Jedi and Sith.

I’d personally place Anakin over Kenobi in terms of power. As a Jedi Anakin performed far more impressive feats than Kenobi. I’m the films he defeated Dooku and Kenobi got clapped by him twice. In the clone wars cartoon, Anakin just pops off. Kenobi does a lot cool stuff as well but nothing matches Anakin’s feats imo. When Kenobi did defeat Anakin, Anakin was no longer a Jedi so I’m not sure that fight should be used as justification, since we aren’t using his dark side years or power in this ranking. It’s also worth mentioning that Anakin was going through a lot and wasn’t focused.
it's actually stated that losing limbs effects your connection to the force. after Anakin lost to kenobi he was effectively cut in half in terms of power. sidius thought that Anakin's true potential would have been 200% of his power, until he lost his arms and leg. then his upper limit was 80% of sidius' power. as for the time before that. kenobi used form 3. a highly defensive and patient saber form, he could use this form to match saber duelists that actually superseded him by focusing on defense and creating openings like cutting off their saber hand etc. making him look far less impressive then anakin's form 4. which is a very aggressive and force heavy form that will tire out the user fast. kenobi's form actually encapsulates who he was pretty well, he didn't want conflict and would always try peaceful methods before violence. personally, i think anakin is at the right spot. the version of anakin we see wasn't ever at his potential. far from it actually. anakin was the perfect example of a person who's told they are special and believes it but their arrogance stop's them from ever actually becoming special.

The Jedi were arrogant and thought the chosen one wouldn’t dispense with their perverted vision of the light side. When Luke starts his academy it’s much more gray and akin to the old Jedai where Jedi are allowed to love, allowed to use all force abilities, etc so long as they fight for what’s right. I stand by Anakin being more powerful. His limbs weren’t cut off when he was a Jedi, which is what we are judging. And even without a hand his feats as a Jedi were far more impressive than Kenobi’s.

Yoda is easily the most powerful Jedi in history, and very close to him are Luke and Obi-Wan Kenobi. In their confrontation on the dark side these two defeat Vader, Obi-wan twice and also when it was Anakin a few more. Alone Sidious (the Sith who may not be the most powerful but the most terrible that has ever existed, of course if we leave out Darth Nihilus who is more of a force than a living being as such) is perhaps stronger than them, even than Yoda, maybe yes or maybe no.
Actually legends Luke is more powerful then yoda. He has the largest midi-chlorian count and mastered all the techniques of the light side of the force . However, Yoda is a close second :) He is probably stronger if you compare the movie versions i agree.

Yes, Anakin wasn't nearly at his ful potential BUT he was already more powerful than Obi Wan in Revenge of the Sith. He lost to Obi Wan due to over confidence. Also Obi Wan knew that he would eventually get beaten by Anakin, which is why he took the fight into a more and more dangerous area over time, where both could die.
Also Anakin beat Dooku, Obi Wan not so much.
Imo. Anakin is the 4th most powerful Jedi ever, behind Grandmaster Luke, Yoda and Mace Windu.

Even if you stick to what has been shown in movies and/or the TV-series, it's incredibly hard to argue that Anakin is "more powerful" than Obi-Wan. Did Anakin have the highest potential, raw power inside of him? Yes, possibly. Most likely even. Being powerful however also requires you to channel and use that power in a correct way. Over the movies and now series we've seen Obi-Wan perform way greater feats of power than Anakin ever has, plus saw Anakin / Darth Vader get destroyed by Obi-Wan in a straight-up conversation twice.
It's truly the tragic story of wasted potential versus maximum power due to diligent improvement.

There are multiple indecators that Anakin in Revenge of the Sith is more powerful than Obi Wan.
The reason Obi Wan could duel Anakin so long is because, like we also saw in the Kenobi Series, they know each others fighting style more than anyone. He knew Anakins style all too well.
Does this mean that Obi Wan is equal to or even stronger than Anakin? Most certainly not.
Anakin was far from his best in that fight (very conflicted and over confident, he even thought he was already more powerful than Sidious, which is not true obviously).
Jaina was more or less the sword of the Jedi much like Windu was back in the day and she was ultimately the one who defeated Jacen so I think it should be her on the list...

Windu is debatably the strongest duelist and factually the strongest Jedi vs a Sith lord. So Mace is totally justified even being number 1.
I wouldn't say revan 1 cos he was at his prime at the sith, but for the sith revan on top, he could learn almost every force move, force speed, force heal, lightning, drain life, etc

I always want to fight the idea anakin was one of the greatest jedi...as in my.opinion his actions prove he couldn't handle power and skill as a jedi. His emotional weaknesses and personality make him incapable of being thst powerful as a jedi. Gauge him how you will as a sith....but he couldn't really obtain the role of master as a jedi. Maybe he didn't fail in skill...but he failed in the absolute fundamentals of being a jedi

Finally! Someone doing an objective power ranking. I have watched many power ranking videos and most of them will have Anakin ranked way to high using the excuse that if at full potential he would be #1 but the guy never made full potential and even so having him above Kenobi is just criminal but you got this one just right and you are the only one that gave Mace Windu a proper ranking being that his power level was still on the rise while Yoda was in decline. Im in total agreement with your list especially with your top 5 but I would have just one disagreement and that is that I believe that Count Dooku should have somewhere near Kenobi and Anakin!

Plo Koon with raw power and dueling ability outmatched Obi Wan in every way. Also the only Jedi ever able to defeat Yoda in the dueling arena. Now really think about this, Yodas midichlorian count was higher than anyone other than Anakin even Mace, and Mace could never defeat Yoda in a duel. So on raw potential and actual skill and ability surpassed Mace Windu! You don't even have Plo Koon on the list at all and with hard facts to back me up I have Plo in the top five and Mace doesn't surpass Yoda, period.
I am sooooooo happy that people are now acknowledging that Luke was the most powerful force-user in history.....he and Leia literally inherited the same Midi-chlorian count and force-potential as Anakin)....was mostly self taught and learned that LOVE and attachment were pivotal in life....he learned from two of the greatest Jedi in history, he believed in everyone and was empathetic, caring, forgiving, looked at the best of others despite their faults and dark-side alignment, and redeemed the Chosen One (his father who was once the most feared and intimidating individuals that the galaxy has EVER seen) back to the light-side....He was the EPITOME of what a TRUE Jedi should be....Most powerful mortal in the history of Star Wars by far!

IMO, Yoda's Force power was best shown in the battle of Coruscant when he smashed up the Battle Droid Dropships ("The Jedi have the left" scene). Much better example than pulling an X-Wing out ofvthe swamp. Overall, your video has a good analysis.

I think people severely underestimate how powerful plo koon could have been. He was already the greatest duelist of the jedi and i think would have been the next grandmaster after yoda, not mace windu

The Greatest thing about Galen Marek is what we are missing in canon. Fans that are more aknowledged about lore know what Im talking about. Sidious himself descriped it as he is raping the force, unlike jedi who are chanelling force through focus, guidenece, calmness or agression pain and so on as siths do. Galen actually uses the force as it is and he doesnt recognize light or dark side of it. His raw power is impressive but even more impressive is how he uses it.
we did see full on light side anakin in the Mortis episodes of clone wars I think it was the first episode where he controlled the brother and the sister at the same time

I always wished we got a version of Star Wars where Anakin reached his potential as a sith lord. I know that would be such a scary thing to witness. Anakin crushing planets and xwings etc with the force. Seeing him hovering over the ground towards a Jedi with the sith eyes using force powers we've never witnessed on the big screen. He'd surely be unstoppable so that would make it one-sided but I still think it would be dope to see even just briefly

Just getting to see Anakin at full potential in general would be a nice treat. Him as a mega powerful Sith lord and Yoda getting to live longer and train Luke for decades would be great cuz he would get to go up against his father at them both being full potential. I know Luke wouldn't stand a chance to beat him but watching him bring his father back to the light after a wild force battle would be sick but I agree there's nobody who would be able to do anything with a FP Vader. The script would have to add a new character that was extremely powerful or bring in beings like Abaloth, or give someone a cheat in power to make them somewhat rival him. Which would be boring as a movie, I agree on that part. But a short flick of it or an episode would be great to see briefly.

full potential Anakin in the Mortis arc is the strongest force user in canon. Of course, he had the benefit of being on Mortis and he never achieved that potential, but considering he’s basically the Force incarnate, the way he ragdolled the Son and Daughter is such a brilliant feat. Just like the Father stated, Anakin was way beyond the concept of Jedi and Sith.
Anakin then received a short-term boost and he could not repeat it without The Father's help or outside of Mortis, so this feat does not count.

He has lived about half of Yoda's age yet I bet he has at least 4 times the feats under his belt and im not including a significant amount of things revan has done.

I’d personally place Anakin over Kenobi in terms of power. As a Jedi Anakin performed far more impressive feats than Kenobi. I’m the films he defeated Dooku and Kenobi got clapped by him twice.
In the clone wars cartoon, Anakin just pops off. Kenobi does a lot cool stuff as well but nothing matches Anakin’s feats imo.
When Kenobi did defeat Anakin, Anakin was no longer a Jedi so I’m not sure that fight should be used as justification, since we aren’t using his dark side years or power in this ranking. It’s also worth mentioning that Anakin was going through a lot and wasn’t focused.
it's actually stated that losing limbs effects your connection to the force. after Anakin lost to kenobi he was effectively cut in half in terms of power. sidius thought that Anakin's true potential would have been 200% of his power, until he lost his arms and leg. then his upper limit was 80% of sidius' power.
as for the time before that. kenobi used form 3. a highly defensive and patient saber form, he could use this form to match saber duelists that actually superseded him by focusing on defense and creating openings like cutting off their saber hand etc. making him look far less impressive then anakin's form 4. which is a very aggressive and force heavy form that will tire out the user fast. kenobi's form actually encapsulates who he was pretty well, he didn't want conflict and would always try peaceful methods before violence. personally, i think anakin is at the right spot. the version of anakin we see wasn't ever at his potential. far from it actually. anakin was the perfect example of a person who's told they are special and believes it but their arrogance stop's them from ever actually becoming special.

When Luke starts his academy it’s much more gray and akin to the old Jedai where Jedi are allowed to love, allowed to use all force abilities, etc so long as they fight for what’s right.
I stand by Anakin being more powerful. His limbs weren’t cut off when he was a Jedi, which is what we are judging. And even without a hand his feats as a Jedi were far more impressive than Kenobi’s.
I think at the time, Dooku wasn't going serious with Anakin cuz Sidious ordered him too.

Yoda is easily the most powerful Jedi in history, and very close to him are Luke and Obi-Wan Kenobi. In their confrontation on the dark side these two defeat Vader, Obi-wan twice and also when it was Anakin a few more. Alone Sidious (the Sith who may not be the most powerful but the most terrible that has ever existed, of course if we leave out Darth Nihilus who is more of a force than a living being as such) is perhaps stronger than them, even than Yoda, maybe yes or maybe no.
Actually legends Luke is more powerful then yoda. He has the largest midi-chlorian count and mastered all the techniques of the light side of the force . However, Yoda is a close second :) He is probably stronger if you compare the movie versions i agree.

You should clarify when using legends versions of characters.
Kenobi over mace, reason vapad would not get a dark feed for him like it did verse sidoius, Yoda because his lack of using the force unless it's used on him. But grandmaster shatale shan would 1 followed by kenobi, Yoda, Luke, Mace. The only Jedi to win a duel with Yoda plo koon, shatale shan battle master actually master qui gon, dooku
