Sorry guys for taking so long, as you can tell by the video's length, this one took longer than expected. I wanted to make sure I fully fleshed out the lesser known Sith as much as possible to people who aren't too familiar with them, as a way inform them why people would vote for them.

Canon is great (except for the new trilogy) but the expanded universe is where Star Wars shines for me
Alot of them are, and have to be otherwise Plagueis doesn't exist, the rule of two wouldn't exist, etc. Darth Bane and Zannah are canon. Also I believe Revan is canon now because of the events in Star Wars Legends and now in The Mandalorian. He led the Republic as a Jedi in the Mandalorian Wars. (before he turned to the dark side)

Note: At the end of the final Darth Bane Installment it is implied (although not confirmed) that he transferred his essence into Zannah, his apprentice, and so in reality he beat her and lived on in her body, rather than losing to her.
Writer of the books confirmed that he truly died and that maybe only a slight essence stayed with her for a small bit of time

I think you are mistaken of what this list is about, it is the most liked and not most powerful.
This is a solid video!
I’d put it the true choice between Tulac Hord & Vitiate. Both drained the force energy of those they battled, but Hord’s helmet was bound with the energy from Sith alchemy rituals. He was never defeated in battle and also was considered to be immortal in terms of age much like Vitiate. However Vitiate was naturally able to use the force to a caliber that he was able to fight off both the Sith & Jedi ranks when he went rogue. He could even transfer his consciousness to a new body when his became too old. Such a duel would be legendary. Either one could arguably reign supreme.

Because a long-running comic or novel series has so much more room for detail than a 2-hour movie does.
Cuz studios can’t throw $200 million at every cool idea that gets thought of. Lower budgets/lower stakes (animated series, books) lead to more artistic freedom from creators and often more unique stories. Stories that are loved by Star Wars fans, but might not appeal to a wide audience (which unfortunately every big budget movie needs to do)
Because the creator was allowed full freedom to do what he wanted than in a movie where the director and other higher ups had a say in the story

Vitiate sounds like the most bad ass. Conquers an entire planet at 13, became an immortal, can cheat death, defeated Revan, consumes all life force, and almost became a god.

Vitiate not only defeated revan AND his friend but turn them to his side. Do u know how badass of a villain you have to be to not only actually defeat the hero but make him switch sides completely. Darth Nihilous was awesome too but Revan switched back and forth so I don’t really consider him a true sith considering he did a lot of good as well. Not to mention his kids helping save the galaxy. That’s like if Darth Vader joined the rebellion at the start of the original trilogy.

My favourite sith is Ajunta Pall, the jedi who led the fallen jedi. Ajunta was the first Sith Lord ever and he started the Hundred Years of Darkness. During this time, the siths destroyed the jedi temp le in Coruscant and made their own empire. I also love Darth Bane, Darth Ravan and Sheev Palpatine (Sidious). All brillant siths (principally Bane and Sidious).

Maul was probably one of the best and most complex characters in all of Star Wars.
If Snoke was Plagueis, then the sequels would at least be more interesting. Unfortunately, they were made by people that don't even know the lore.
Plagueis as Snoke could've been a brilliant idea, could've explained why he created Anakin, how he let himself be murdered by Palpatine in order to act in the shadows, let his apprentice build him an empire while he was forging the new order and once he was murdered he merged both and attacked, could've explained why the new republic was overwhelmed by the first order in the first place. If only someone would've sit and planed the damn sequels instead of giving them to two overrated hacks that destroyed a franchise over a petty ego fight.

Here's my tier list of who I think are the most powerful sith.
10. Darth Talon is powerful and all, but she's easily outclasssed by the other Sith on this list. She is strong, and all but her combat style is mainly acrobatic and nimble. She could very easily be defeated by any of the Sith Lords on this list.
9. Darth Maul is powerful as well. He can defeat Talon. However he possess a strong aggressive lightsaber combat form which is form 7. He can however be defeated by other Sith Lords on this list by the likes of Dooku who has way more experience in the arts of lightsaber combat than Maul. But Maul's determination, and astounding survival skills have made him a powerful foe. But I just don't see him surpassing the likes of Dooku. He mainly uses his acrobatic style to gain the upper hand, same for his hatred.
8. Darth Tyranus has had a large amount of practice/experience with form 2 which has earned him a pretty reputation as a formidable warrior. But he wasn't completely engulfed inside the Dark Side which is a primary weakness. His training in the Light Side makes up for it. He is a very renowned duelist. But compared to the likes of Vader or Sidious. I can very likely see that he won't be returning from either of those duels alive.
7. Darth Nilhilus is a very extremely powerful Sith Lord which has earned him the title of "The Lord Of Hunger". But he relies on feeding himself which is a weakness. He can practically win every duel if he forces drains a significant amount of force energy. However he has hardly used a saber. I can see him losing to Sidious. Sidious can practically prevent Nilhilus from force draining a lot of force energy from him.
6. Darth Vader was a total nightmare for the citizens of the empire. He was the enforcer of the Empire. He seriously improved the way he dueled. He grew more powerful due to his intense hatred for the Jedi. I can see him defeating Nilhilus. He had suffered too much which fueled his power even more. His suit fueled him the most due to it being uncomfortable. He was a damn Sith Lord who would take a beating to defeat. His weaknesses is practically his past as the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, and his emotions which caused him to fall to the Dark Side. Overall Vader was a powerful force to be reckoned with.
5. Darth Sidious was an insanely powerful Sith Lord due to his insane speed which allowed him to take out three council members with ease. He lived up to his name. His arrogant, and overconfident nature proved to be his downfall. But the ability to cloak himself from the Jedi allowed him to outsmart them, and cause the downfall of the Jedi Order. He truly was a nightmare. His intelligence was quite possibly his greatest strength in reality.
4. Darth Plagueis was the master of Lord Sidious, and was more powerful than him. He almost unlocked the key to being immortal. He also did experiments in the force which caused the force itself to send a message to Plagueis by birthing the Chosen One. Plagueis was a far more experienced/better Duelist, and Manipulator than Palpatine. But the ability to not forsee Sidious betraying him was his downfall.
3. Darth Bane was the creator of The Rule Of Two which allowed the Sith to become far stronger over centuries. He himself slaughtered the remainder of the Sith. He foresaw the future. He was a very skilled force user, and lightsaber combatant. He was a true follower of the Dark Side.
2. Darth Revan was a extremely powerful Sith Lord. He possessed High Agility, speed, and strength which was boosted by the force. He experienced power from both the Light Side, and Dark Side. He had so much knowledge in his mind that he was able to stand up to Vitiate. Revan was the most balanced force user to exist. Revan was truly a prodigy.
1. Darth Vitiate was basically the embodiment of the Dark Side. He had three different personalities/identities which all had incredible power. He had the power of immortality. He had backup plan after backup plan. He constructed the Eternal Empire while leading the Sith Empire. Vitiate is honestly the closest thing to compete with a full potential Chosen One. He was the most powerful Sith Lord that ever walked in the galaxy. His power was truly unmatched.

Number One has to go to Darth Jar Jar. Heath Ledger's performance with him was regal and his personality is just so goofy and over the top, while still being terrifying. The way he killed an entire planet laughing as he did it while cracking jokes was chilling.
