I checked into a hotel in Atlanta next to KG. We were the only ones in line so I got a close look at his massive height. I'm 6'2" so I usually feel tall but I felt like a 3rd grader next to KG. I doubt most people can truly appreciate the size of someone 7'0" until they see someone that big in person. I was never much of a KG fan, especially when I learned about his over the top trash talk. For example, he told Carmelo his wife tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios and he made fun of Tim Duncan's deceased mother on Mother's Day. Despite that ridiculous trash talk, KG couldn't have been nicer when I saw him. He was very nice to the hotel workers and happily signed autographs for them. I also saw him pull a 100 dollar bill from his pocket to, I assume, give to the kid who was carrying his bags. I bet there are a lot of NBA players who are douchebags on the court and nice guys off of it. KG could be that type. Thanks for the documentary.

I believe Garnett when he said it wasn't about the money, he wanted a longer term contract, it's as simple as that, his agent wanted as much money as possible. Granted, he wanted to take care of his family, but he didn't want to leave Minnesota, either. That's what has to be taken into account as well.
I love this Brother. So many positives about him. I was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base. South Carolina people ,are different. This Bro is top 8- 10. Sometimes though rare, a woman can nurture and create a man.

You're opinion's legitimate, but I wonder when you started watching him? He was badass from day one. I watched most of his MN career, especially in person. But towards the end, especially in BOS, he seemed to change, have less joy, He was different, and I began to dislike him too. Though VERY FEW deserved a ring more than him!! That accomplishment seemed to release years of angst, and he's become his old, crass-yet-childlike, beautiful self.
