I just got one to do 196 square ft slab; I am curious to see how long it takes me to mix and pour 145 bags of 60 pound quickrite cement when this mix well only 2 bags at time.
@@GregsWorkshopOregon yeah that is what I am afraid as well, I may do it in 3 stages; it is a side walkway of 21 ft by 7 so may do slabs of 7x7 then continue next day and so on since it will be only me doing it, this way I reckon every divided slab would take about 50 bags that I may be able to handle in maybe 5 or 6 hours; these are all rough estimates and speculation but home depot sucks they do not have the bigger mixer available right now and after this job if it takes me too long that mixer will go back returned I already warned them as had no choice to get the small one; reason is I have a pro credit with them and that is why did not go with the competition
@@GregsWorkshopOregon I think it's pretty cool and from looking around there isn't much out there. I took a few screenshots and can probably do some improv woodworking to make one. Thanks for the video.
Hey boss i just got the damn thing together and it says grease before using it ....do you know where in the hell the grease port is BC I see an oil plug but no grease port
I took a look this morning, I can't find any grease fittings or even a place that would need greasing. I wonder if they meant make sure the gearbox is full?
You should follow the instructions and you will be able to do a complete batch. First of all, you add 1/3 to 1/2 the water then while running, add cement mix….duh
OMG your little helper! The helmet and the boots! 🥰

That's a big slab for that mixer, let me know how it goes.

Nice review. Thank you.
I wondering what camera ans microphone are you using? Also like that litle jack is wearing a helmet on the job site lol #teachthenyoung
I'm using the Rode microphone, you can find them on Amazon. It's a great microphone setup for a reasonable price.
@@GregsWorkshopOregon thanks my friend
Great job Greg! Looking forward to seeing your next video.
Thanks Mark!
Where would someone buy or find a video to make a concrete footing funnel like the one in this video?
It's something I came up with myself, I made it out of 3/4" ply. I can do a short video on it if you want to know more.

How did the surgery go?
It went well, recovery is progressing faster than I remember from the last time. The hardest part is not overdoing it!
@@GregsWorkshopOregon being as active as you are I can understand exactly what you mean! 🇺🇦✌🏻

I bought it used so I didn’t have instructions.
Just picked up a used one for 100 bucks...
That's a great deal!
