    Very nice! The only thing that worries me is that pulley/belt of supercharger. A risk if someone accidentally gets a hand into it... any cover available for it?

    I run Premin in my boosted vehicles, it's not worth saving the money to put regular in them ,
    and you don't have to any octane Unless you go stupid crazy on the boost which could be fun ha ha😅

    Is it necessary to add the 7 fuel injector kit ? Water ethanol kit ? Upgrade to supra injectors ? Dyno tune ?

      You should have it tuned. As for the 7th inj issue, the TRD blower tended to lean out too much but maybe the tune and modern blower will alleviate that

    Any high gear low rpm ping like the old SC had in closed loop?

      We haven't had any issues with anything like that. Since the install we have put a lot of miles on it with no issues to report as of yet.

    Too bad you guys didn't specify anything about the fuel upgrades... looks like you have a FMU? What other fuel system upgrades? Thx

      We did do the FMU but it was put on at the very beginning of install and was not needed. It just needed the normal break in time to adjust. If you upgrade to a smaller pulley for more boost than it would be necessary.

      ⁠@@LC_Engineering sorry, but there’s just a ton of mixed information out there and want to clearify - the 3:1 FMU and larger fuel pump was NOT needed, your lean out issues that SNP referred to were a result of dynoing before the ECU had time to remap?

    How does it handle around sea level? No lean out situations?

      We are only at about 700ft and haven't experienced any issues.

    What octane fuel do you have to run?

      With the supercharger installed you will have to run 91 Premium Octane.

    Why are all the supercharger kits using small superchargers... personally on 3.4 litres i would prefer 1900cc or if i was doing it myself would go straight for 2300cc... that way there is possibility for further upgading of engine later on without having the extra expense of upgrading supercharger

      This unit had to be similar to the out going model in power output to keep its smog certification. That is why they focused on the parts they could improve like the cooling efficiency and power band. There is also smaller pulleys available for them but the stock ECU will not support it.

    Only 201??? That’s only 18 extra horse power from stock. That’s it?? For 4 grand?? I was expecting 260 to be the WHP.

      201hp to the wheels. Keep in mind while yes, the motor produces 190hp, only about 150hp actually makes it to the wheels due to drive-train parasitic loss. So it is actually a 51hp to the wheel increase which means at the crank it puts out 260 which is a 70hp increase over stock.
