Always good to have someone post how to videos. I had to drop my fuel tank on my 2006 F-250 Ford truck because the fuel pickup screen deteriorated and was plugging up the fuel line. I found a video on UA-cam on how to do this.
Great video, this is a very important process to go through BEFORE we let our boats sit for a couple months. As you stated there may be some water in a places where you don’t want it. Thanks for this timely post and of course the call to Christians and those who haven’t made the choice. Your are a true “fisher of men” brother !
Is there a way to add gear lube to a 50hp mercury four stroke after I changed the gear lube? I’m getting a continuous beeping and was told it could be low lube
@@TeamJesusOutdoors Thanks because I'm getting a continuous beeping when I turn the key and someone said it could be that. I just changed it, and the fuel filter. I'm team Jesus to bro

I completely agree. I dont know how many times a UA-cam video has helped me do something that I wouldn't have otherwise tried.
The Oil Change kit is super handy!

Thanks Brother! It is absolutely critical that we maintain our outboards, if we expect to have years of faithful performance from them.
Taking care of your gear so it takes care of you. Nice work.
Absolutely, Brother!
Made it look easy 👌
God bless!
It really is pretty easy, if you have the right tools and materials handy.

Sure, you just gotta be quick about it. Same way you add lube during lube change.

Good luck, bro!
20-50 or 10-30 oil? Mine calls for 10-30 but a 115
25w-40
@@TeamJesusOutdoors If running in the cold winter it would be best to use 10W-30.
I have often wondered if we should be running thinner oil in cold water, but I have not yet found such guidance from Merc.
We shouldn't be storing our boats while there is open water out there to fish! :)
If my garage were heated, like yours, I would use it year round.
Thanks so much I’m having a beeping issue with my 50hp and trying everything to fix it. I’m Team Jesus bro
