The child actors are incredible..utterly lifelike in the bizarre situation..without a hint of irony
Agreed!!
an aga is a traditional oven that runs on oil or solid fuel but they are only found in posh peoples 'rustic' kitchens. Aga saga basically is referring to she's the type of woman who would own an aga but also turns the smallest thing into a saga.
I’m happy to mock the posh all day! 😂❤. That was so funny!
Here in England we had the best comedy shows. Glad you here to see for yourself. Go ahead and enjoy
I have olive oil. It's Asda's own brand and cost £2.50 for a large bottle.
But I don't have a poor man's Aga,
An Aga is a posh person's cooker, being a range type thing. Not sure I've ever been in the same house as an Aga cooker.
Hi Megan. An "Aga" is the name for a style of cooker. Usually found in farmhouses or "upper class twits of the year" kitchen's. They cost shedloads of £££'s.
Ahh okay! Thanks!
@@MeganRuth My pleasure Megan. And, before you ask, no, I don't have or own an "Aga." 😉 X
It's true about olive oil, I didn't have it when I wasn't doing as well.😂 But it is so much better for you. Still I'm glad you saw this character, there's some other good sketches of hers!
Popeye always had Olive oil.
This is the fight many UK people deal with every day. How to be the poshest 😅
You need to move to the UK :D :D :D
I know you've lived here quite a while, but it really can be a stressful place to live in the UK. But see how we cope wonderfully.
I think olive oil is commonplace in the UK - what would you dress salads with without olive oil? No, I'm not being facetious - olive oil is hardly a status symbol any more.
Damn right! It's scandalous the price of 'non-virgin' olive oil.
'Just the tip' olive oil in my local supermarket is up to £6.50 now!
(I just don't know _how_ I'm going to cope)
Oh my goodness!! That’s crazy! 😳
It's a joke, Megan - a play on the designation 'virgin' used for olive oil@@MeganRuth
I hope your partner would be willing to buy extra virgin olive oil if you ran out.
I can't imagine the sheer horror of that situation, stay safe 🫡
Virgin olive oil ! I can't even afford Old slapper oil seed rape since brexit
Say what you will, but if most families communicated like theirs does,
there would be fewer dinner parties in the world.
You gotta check out Catherine's "am I bovvered" girl.
Go Megan.Your sense oif humour is unerring, I love all of Catherine's characters. The only one that doesn't do much for me is the oversexed Irsh nurse. A particular favourire is the ditsy couple.who are always starting with 'You won't believe what happened to me today.'. I forgert their names but I'm sure you'll discover them at some stage in your wonderful voyage through the world of British satirical comedy. I may br wrong, not having grown up in Britain, but I think 'AgaSaga refers to some kind of ritzy dept store, A post from you always makes my day. Keep 'em coming, babe.
Thanks for the comment!! I’m glad you enjoy my videos 😊 I’ll have to check out the sketch of that couple! It sounds hilarious aha 😆
@@MeganRuth Not a single sketch but a repeating theme with the same characters, just saying, like much of the rest of this brilliant series. She tended to milk the concept a few times and then move on. In the case of Lauren ('Am I bovvered") the sassy schoolgirl, she simply killed her off abruptly on a whim . Her most enduring character is Nan Taylor, the foul-mouthed, self-absorbed Cockney grandmother. The whole show is100 percent gold, so please dig more whenever you're ready. I'd put it right up there with Fawlty Towers. Speaking of which??
😊😊😊😊😊😊❤.
