My last big ride was Easter 1969 from Romford in Essex to Paignton on a Lambretta Li 150. Top whack all the way overnight, - about 50 - 55 mph. Took about 12 hrs if you include stops and getting lost in Paignton. It was freezing all the way there!
That was great couple of days away on your bike and your tent Austin..........Great to be outdoors enjoying life.........stay safe...........thanks for sharing
Hey Austen, I can't beleive you rode within a mile and a half of where I live!! I saw on the vid that you rode through Penclawdd, so I assume you went through Gowerton too, and I live in Gorseinon. I couldn't see where you went after Penclawdd as you sped the film up so much, I couldn't make anything out as it was too much of a blur. If you're going to film your ride route, at least let us see it. Anyway, if I'd known you were in the area I could have stood you a breakfast or a cuppa or something!! I'm assuming we won't see many/anymore of these vids until next year due to the weather. Looking forward to more of these and ones out in the van.
I do like the sound of light rain on a tent, so relaxing....The Gower is a lovely area to visit but i'm not sure i could do it on a bike. Take care Aust, Regards Local Fella
The bit where you said something along the lines of 'if I don't get this sorted, I'll have an accident'. Please elaborate! I'm contemplating returning to motorcycling so would DEFINITELY like to know what you meant !!! :)
Nice to see you Austin.. Riding a bike these days is hard work with busy roads ..out in the countryside is a different story though ,good fun 😊 Have you done many trips on the bike mate? Local and distance
Im late to the party on this vid, im 34 and just done my cbt 2 yrs ago and just refreshed it, but im thinking of doing a road trip on my 125 too but i noticed at forst even a 2/3 hours a day worn me out haha its more body work on a bike compared to a car but worth it 100% nothing feels like riding a bike and my car does 170mph 🤣🤣 and have more fun on the bike
You need to pass your test and get a bigger bike mate, restricted 125cc are hard work.I remember driving from London to North Wales a lot on a 250 and that was hard enough

yay new adventures! Must still work out cheaper to fuel than filling the van doesn't it? Easier to park at a moments notice too.
The hole trip only cost me about 25 quid. Inc campsite. 😜
Loaded up and ready to go ....it's good to see the vid's Austin.
What a fantastic trip. I bet you enjoyed every second apart from the rain 😂. Great stuff mate.

@@ScudoCamper Thanks, I'll look forward to it :)
How long do you have nowadays to take your bike test. Back in day you could keep your L plate on indefinitely. ATB Glen 👍
2 years I think mate.
Looks like great fun. What bike is it? Is it a bitsa, a Yasuhonwasaki?
It's a Hartford. Think they only make like 2 or 3 bikes.
With hindsight, do you think you prefer a bigger engined bike ???
Never had a big bike but I like this one. 😊
Hi Austin maybe you and the Wiltshire man could do it ride and camp together that will be great
Nice to see you Austin..

Awesome mate. Yeah not had chance to do any this year. ☹️ Definitely missing it.
what bike is that
Its a Hartford HD 2004. was a 200 now a 125
Always harder on a lower cc bike Stay off the bigger roads much better. Cheers Austin
Last time I rode a bike was about 2005 ,and before that 1985 😂
My Suzuki TS 250 trials
Not really selling it mate
Think I’ll stick to the old campervan
