Awesome use of space Austin, what a brilliant design, it reminds me of some of the Japanese tiny campers. Well done buddy 👍👍 so much in such a small space. Look forward to seeing a slide out version.. 😂
Great little video and great little pod. Seeing you in there was like the old days in the Scudo, which was when I first found your channel. Looking forward to sharing your adventures.😁
Austin. That Is Amazing Seriously mate, well done! Everything looks so well designed and professional. I cannot wait to see more of this and the adventures that await. Cheers Ben
Well done, it looks great Austin, just like the Scudo of old. A talk through of the build with pics would be interesting. Looking forward to seeing it in action! 👍
Loving the build mate, I hope you’re really content when you’re in it. It’s brilliant. I dunno if you remember but I recommended you build one of these on the video where you sold sammy. You’ve got the best of both worlds now. No rust, no tax, no insurance and no outgoings when it’s not in use etc.
I know it was tough to give up the van. So glad you have this amazing project to help keep the camping going. Such talent to build something like that from scratch. Very impressive!
Wow Austin it looks amazing, you should give yourself a pat on the back , very clever chap I must say , I’m looking forward to some new adventures on the channel top man 👏
Loving the camping pod Austin. Shame you live Bristol way, I would be brining my little Mk7 transit day van round. Needs LED strip lights fitting. Amongst other jobs lol 😆
Love it, what an amazing well thought out build, great job, and the draining board is a great idea, look forward to seeing your future adventures in it
Brilliant job there Austin 👍🤠 .... Get prepared for the Commissions to roll in 😉 ..... You missed showing the outside though ... C'mon now .. Give us a peek 👁👁
Great job Austin, looks really good. Only one question from me ….. when is the next video ? Great seeing you back on here mate and a fantastic little creation too, opens you back up to more camping vids 👍👍👍
Modular; excellent! Don't know if that will work in the US. You have your trailer for hauling stuff, like your neighbors sofa or building supplies for home projects. Then you load up your camping pod onto your trailer and head for the lake. Nice! The trailer has all the road lights, so there is nothing that the pod needs to go down the road, except maybe a 12v tap into your trailer wiring. The closest thing we have to that over here is the truck camper. And, I have seen truck campers being hauled on trailers as well as in truck beds (obviously). Here's the problem. Some states treat truck campers as cargo, so there is no license required for it. States primarily in the eastern part of the country do that. But out west, most states treat the truck camper as a vehicle and require a license. So, that's another title and registration ($$$) if the state you reside in requires it, which seems a bit greedy, imo. Because with out a vehicle all you have is a lawn ornament! I'm under the impression that the UK has regulations that we are not used to in the US. So, my question is: Can you haul your pod on a trailer without paying an additional fee? btw; 186 kg is 410 lbs. That's light! Keep up the good work!!!
YT didn’t send me any notifications, I thought you’d been a bit quiet recently - I am still subscribed! Just came across your latest “outside tour” vid and linked back to here. Amazing to see this build and the photos you took, looking forward to this. As the pod is under 200Kg and the trailer is rated to 500Kg I’m guessing it’s unbraked? I can’t wait for your new adventures.
A very interesting build Austin, do you think being a self build you will have problems getting it insured for being on the road. Having all those windows will certainly give you plenty of light, which is good in a small space. Looking forward to seeing the outside. All the best for the future.
Well from the inside it looks a beauty bro, everything in arms length and quite stylish too. Look forward to see the outside and build pics. Is there a fridge of any kind. Safe travels. Ken.
Hundreds of hours of work though that’s the only issue. Brilliant build but I know how long these things take because I’m about 80 hours into a build and I’ve not even finished the frame yet
Great job Austin, looks really good. Only one question from me ….. when is the next video ? Great seeing you back on here mate and a fantastic little creation too, opens you back up to more camping vids 👍👍👍

Yes mate it's basically cargo. No charges for anything. As you say the trailer has the lights etc so you just load the pod on the trailer. 😁
YT didn’t send me any notifications, I thought you’d been a bit quiet recently - I am still subscribed! Just came across your latest “outside tour” vid and linked back to here.

It's classed as a trailer so no insurance needed. Looking forward to using it 😁
Well from the inside it looks a beauty bro, everything in arms length and quite stylish too. Look forward to see the outside and build pics. Is there a fridge of any kind. Safe travels. Ken.
No fridge unfortunately not enough room but can have a toolbox in the awning. 😛
Another camping triumph!
That looks really good mate - snug . Is it a home made teardrop trailer or did you buy a prebuilt one - would really love one myself.
All completely home built mate 😊
That’s looks really cool did u get as a set or was something you made from scratch ?
Made from scratch 😁
Would be interesting to know cost of pod .and where you got it from .
It's all hand built by myself. 😊
Is the plan to wild camp or use campsites?
Bit of both I expect. 😊
You could build and sell these. Reckon there is a fair bit of profit to be had.
Hundreds of hours of work though that’s the only issue.
Brilliant build but I know how long these things take because I’m about 80 hours into a build and I’ve not even finished the frame yet
To much work unfortunately for full production
