Even with a Brazil nut a day, I still get goiters, but did not know about bile salts, so maybe trying those will eliminate the goiters. I utilized another method for getting rid of goiters, but can't say that using it seemed to alleviate other hypothyroid symptoms: boil flax seeds in purified water to create an egg-white-like fluid that you dip into with a clean towel and apply to the goiter as warm as you can tolerate it. Be sure to extract the seeds from the fluid using a strainer before you apply the fluid to the goiter, or else you will have flax seeds stuck to the towel. Also, make sure to keep the clear fluid covered during the boiling phase, or else you will end up with a clear film on your stovetop that will be hard to detect, but will scorch onto the stovetop with the stove's next use, and be very hard to scour off.

In April my THS level was 49.5 (it should not be more than 4/4.5). And my T4 was very low. I was asked to take synthetic thyroid hormone. I didn’t want to and I can’t explain why. I prayed about it and I found this video and started taking Zinc and Selenium tablets. In July my TSH was 5.4 and my T4 was back to normal - and my doctor was surprised. In September, it’s 3.4! Thank God! What was needed was all found in what He’s already provided.
It’s amazing what good food, the right vitamins and minerals, good sleep, good exercise and reducing stress can do.
Thanks for the advise Dr Berg I appreciate your videos

@@lordtimo826 yes I got some zinc and selenium tablets I take daily. THS is 3.4 now in September and taken another blood test last week to see if it has gone down as the endocrinologist says it should be 1.something ideally. It may just be that my body is healing naturally or that the zinc and selenium helped with the healing process. Based on other stories though, it could have gone either way. I think for any one, it is worth a try.

Man I wish you'd give lessons to freaking endocrinologist. My daughter just went to Endo couple weeks ago for parathyroid tumor and the ONLY thing that lady wanted to talk about was how horrible we were for not taking synthroid. She was pushing her drug of choice and we weren't even in there for that reason. My daughter and I both have normal labs in the thyroid area and both have hashimotos. I've been on thyroid meds for 25 years and one thing I know for sure is I can't have synthroid....it makes my body completely freak out. I tried it on and off for few years but it never worked for me. Luckily back then I had a really great doctor who recommended t3 treatment only and that's when I finally started feeling normal again. Did that for five years but it got too expensive so I went to Glandular. But because so many glandular have been discontinued I was so lucky to find one that actually has naturally occurring t3 and t4. They're from New Zealand cows and the stuff has worked so great. Been on it for couple years now and I have a dead thyroid. Back to my point though....Synthroid has proven time and time again to be of little use in the body so I don't know why endocrinologist are pushing it so hard. They must get a huge bonus for that crap

    • @Acts-1322
      @Acts-1322 2 місяці тому

Nah, main cause of hypo is hashimoto. Did you not listen to this video at all?
Also, cholesterol is a good building block of all cells and hormones in your body. If your VLDL/ LDL-B particle COUNT is high, then yes. But that's mainly because of insulin resistance anyway, which equates to too many manmade carbs, added sweeteners, eating nutrient poor foods, and not enough adequate intensity exercise.
Also vital to measure are triglycerides, which are liver fat.. strongly tied to the same insulin resistance root causes listed above.
I'd at least get your fasting insulin with C-Peptide, your CRP, Coronary calcium & HDL checked if you want to be more sure you're metabolically healthy. PS, don't settle for that silly "normal range" doctors like to throw at you. Learn what healthy & OPTIMAL actually is

Also, standard ranges are determined from the general population of white males. Average males, not those in prime condition. Considering estrogen plays a role in this, these ranges may mean little for women, especially post menopausal women. Our genetics etc play a part in what is optimal for each person.

My family used to tell me I made it up or I was hypochondriac 🤣🤣🤣. The brother they said that the most ended up with it as well and my sister with a whole host of other problems. Tell your family to be nice, it might come back to bite them.

    • @hyrunnisa997

You probably have hypo or hyper and they are just not using the right reference ranges. Also women of different ethnic backgrounds can had a lower optimal range so even if they have a raging thyroid condition it will be misdiagnosed. I think that's my problem too because when I was pregnant I had massive goiter and terrible symptoms and yet my doctor said I have subclinical hypothyroidism. There is nothing subclinical about it if I'm at risk for a miscarriage and my thyroid is clearly visible through my neck.

Dr Berg, I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with a TSH of 3.08. Obgyn wants to put me on synthyroid which if I understood you correctly is a synthetic version of T4. And if it’s a conversion problem then it probably won’t do much good. I also have biliary dyskinesia and a history of cholestasis in previous pregnancies. This indicates to me that I have a conversion problem from T4 to T3. I did the carnivore diet prior to getting pregnant and it reduced my inflammation greatly. I also believe it helped me get pregnant. Unfortunately, during the first trimester I was so sick all I wanted was carbs and sugar. I’m convinced this is where I’m running into problems and now that I am feeling better going into the second trimester, I’m going back to a Keto diet. I’m also taking Betaine HCL, bile salts, vitamin D3, zinc, and sea kelp. I’m willing to consider the risks and benefits and this seems like my greatest chance in controlling the situation 🙏🏼

Sometimes they give you this paper, where they fill a check mark on which tests to do, I once took mine and checked in for things I wanted myself, and I delivered it to the lab. Just check it with pen yourself. And at doctors ask the doctor to print out results for you, I walways do that, You are allowed to get your own results

I myself do have hypothyroidism. When I found out, two of my sisters were already diagnosed with it also for a couple of years.
I won't take the Synthroid and did it the natural way.
I bought sea kelp at first but noticed that I was holding fluid so I switched to iodine, I take 200 of selenium and I also take vitamin B1 and I was also taking zinc, didn't take zinc 100% of the time because it would cause a awful up set stomach. My Dr didn't say a word and I did this for 3 months and everything was back to normal. I even think my range was 2.25 or something like that.
Then I wasn't able to get the iodine that I was taking and I didn't know to much about the differences in them so I bought the one from Alex Jones. Big mistake. After taking everything that I was taking before except honestly even a little less zinc my levels shy rocketed over 5. But I knew something wasn't right. I was tired, and not just a regular tired but the tired of you don't lay down you are going to fall down tired. Only thing that I changed was iodine I was taking and a little less zinc. So I tried to find an iodine that was as close as the first iodine I had found and had been taking for months to almost a year and need to go get my blood work again. I'm to add zinc back into taking it every day also starting now and see if that helps bring it down where it should be.
I also have digestive issues. I'm over weight but have been since I can remember but now the weight is different. I hold a lot of weight in my mid section. The Dr's try to say I have gallbladder problems but I don't have gallstones or sludge, they said they believe that it isnt working like it should and I should have a hydascan done and I probably will have to have it removed. I have been to a few different Dr's that deal with the gallbladder and none of them gave the same answer of what is going on with me. I have had this bloating and pain in my mid spine since 2014,, and unfortunately has only gotten worse to where I ended up in the er and they kept me not because of my gallbladder but because of having illeus. I don't think I spelt that right but it is where your intestines quit working and get blocked and if the Dr's can't get them moving again then they would have to do surgery to remove the parts of intestines that quit working.
Thankfully with my prayers to God I was able to leave a couple of days later but to be honest I still think I still have that problem still today. The burning pain now is not only in my mid back but also radiates in my right rib cage.
I do believe I did something to my back one evening around Halloween in 2014 because I was trying to carry everything into my dad's instead of making multiple trips. But I felt something let loose and the pain was unbearable.
I tell Dr's this but they never want to listen. I believe I have a pinched nerve or something that is causing this burning pain and now it goes into my rib cage and I believe what ever is pinched is causing a part of my intestinal track not to work. I take 3000 MG of magnesium to even be able to go to the bathroom because my mag levels are so love even taking that much of magnesium. But if I don't take it not only does my bloating and distention get worse but the pain is so pad from the bloating and distention that I would end up in the hospital.
I know this is long and I doubt if Dr burg would even see it or respond to me. I know this because I have tried many times.
I hate going to Reg Dr's because they don't want to listen. They just want to jump to gallbladder but I don't think it is my gallbladder. I have no pain what so ever in my stomach anywhere. You could push where the gallbladder is is and no pain not even when I was in the ER, my stomach didn't hurt at all. At that time all the pain was in my mid to lower back and it felt as if someone had a air compressor hooked to my stomach and they just kept putting air in me and I could actually feel my skin stretching and it felt as if I was going to split apart but not once did I have any pain in my stomach. Not where the gallbladder, liver, pancreas or anything for that matter had pain.
Only in my mid to lower back. It could have been my intestines but I know I never want to feel like that again.
I just pray Dr burg reads this and tries to help me. I am so tired of not being able to live a normal life that it's getting to the point of why live at all.
I can't even eat like a normal person but still gain weight.
Most of the time I look 12 months pregnant but I can never enjoy my food. But one thing that I think is helping me just a tad is I found prebiotics, I take them with probiotics and actually found a gummy that is both pre/probiotics and the one good thing is that my magnesium has been in the low range of normal for the first time in 10 yrs. So it has to be helping in some way.
Thank you to who ever made it through my short novel.
Also let me know if taking the bile salt of Dr burgs has helped you or if you have taken a different kind of bile salts that has helped you.
Thank you so much, God bless 🙏😇🙏

why don't you take thyroid meds? maybe they're gonna fix the issue.
Also is it possible gluten is causing all these symptoms?

    • @kimsikorski5691

@@rses916 to be honest both of my sisters take it and it hasn't helped them. As Dr burg said taking it don't actually help the problem because it don't help convert.
I just ate and took my zinc but there is no way of taking it on an empty stomach. 🤮
I am always bloated. Let say that I eat a meal and not a meal that most people can eat, well even if I drink water to take my vitamins that I was taking after eating it would make my bloating even worse to the point of having to take something for pain and lay down because I felt so bad.
I also thought it could be gluten but I don't think so. Over the last week I have been trying to eat eggs and sausage or with bacon and 2 pieces of toast and a half cup of pineapple in its own juice to help digest the food.
But that one meal will last me all day long. I won't be hungry till maybe 12 hours or longer but it's not a hunger like moat people would get so I eat something small because if I were to eat another meal I would pay for it dearly. I have had stomach emptying test and other than the first hour of my food digest a little quickly it was normal I've had ultrasounds, I've had for you drink the white chalky stuff and they take X-rays and then they pushed on my stomach with this big ball with the X-ray machine and they want to know if that hurt and I told him no but it was hurting my lower back because I have herniated disc at L4, L5 and S1.
So the only thing that has seemed to help just a little bit is taking the pre/probiotics. I can actually hear my stomach make noises where as before it made none.
I still believe I have illeus and parts of my intestines are partially not working or maybe they're narrowed which is not allowing the food to move through am I go to the bathroom all I get is earthworm size stool but most of the time it's in like little inch segments but no doctor want to listen to me about that they said it was normal so I give up on Western medicine. Have to figure things out for my self.
Just going to start to take the zinc and see if it helps with they thyroid and hope it gives me some energy. I even took a 5 hour energy drink this morning and I could actually go to sleep.
So tired of feeling this way.
I do agree with the stress part.
I believe that stress is the number one killer and the number one cause of so many diseases.
And unfortunately STRESS is the number one in my life and has been for several years and then some.
Thank you for messaging me, I truly appreciate it.
      God bless 🙏😇🙏

I am recently feeling that my neck swells up all of a sudden, makes my face look puffy and neck skin sags. Then I take centrum and the swelling kinda disappears for some time. I don’t want to go to a doctor because I usually cure myself with supplements. I try not to take medicines for anything.

How much zinc per day is recommended for hypo? How much bile salts? Thanks. I know you say 200mcg of selenium and 10,000 ius - 20,000 ius of vitamin D3 per day in previous videos. Thanks.

Dr. Berg thank you for the very helpful videos, i have a question is there any Bloodtest for Iodine? and how can we know if hypothyroidism ist due to iodine deficiency or too much iodine? thank you very much and cant wait for answer :)

See dr Berg's video on iodine and how to do home iodine test. Depending where you live - in States you can probably take blood test for it, but there are also some urine tests for iodine you can buy and do by yourself. In my country there are no blood or urine tests available and I can't afford to import it from USA, so I just use iodine water test for aquariums - looks like it works pretty well.

I heard there was a connection between gluten and having a low thyroid. I've been taking some of the supplements you mentioned and also doing gluten free. I'll report back when I have blood work in the spring of 2023.
