      Do you know if a thyroid issue could be mistaken as diabetes? Type1.. some of the symptoms seem to be about the same for both.

    I just survived thyroid storm, I'm still at home recovering from it, after being the hospital for a long time... enjoying watching your videos so I can understand this better.. I had no idea I even had a overactive thyroid and I go to docs , they just never tested it..

    oh my god, you are AMAZING. I'm new to your channel. I am currently studying endocrinology for my physiology class, and you are a lifesaver! My prof's notes are so vague, and he talks so fast during lectures that it is hard to write down all the extra information he says to clarify the notes. But your videos, really help to fill in those missing gaps that are in the notes my prof posted. I am officially not scared of my final exam anymore. I subscribed.     I have a small correction for a very small mistake in the video
    After the cleavage of T4 and T3 from thyroglobulin, T4 and T3 won't have a vesicle around them, because they actually lipid soluble, so they will just diffuse from the thyroglobulin vesicle (which is made primarily from lipid) to the cytosol, then they will diffuse also through the cell membrane to the bloodstream.

    @ Ninja Nerd Science, during coupling process of iodothyronine residues @ 16:15.. MIT+DIT is a reverse T3 of which is biologically inactive. The only Active T3 (Triiodothyronine) coupling residues is DIT+MIT. Thank You.
