This is very good. I love the positive vibe, for guys like me who don't play as much, but still love it. Building guitars, B and G benders, and doing the occasional "play rock star" gig. Its refreshing for somebody to acknowledge the guys who never achieved super success.
Great Anology Zakk, comparing car parts to the guitar fret board, this connects to that, and thats how it all works together. Kids need to pay Attention |,,/
Zakk is SOOO new Jersey. Growing up in the garden state, there is a different way to thinking that is pervasive to our state, and a way of communicating that is a bit combative. Listening to Zakk just makes me laugh because he is so NJ and Nikki is all west coast, laid back.
I saw Zakk at the "No More Tours" tour in New Orleans with Ozzy. One of the best guitarist I have ever seen/heard. His hair was constantly spinning 360 around his head and the ear splitting artificial harmonics. A force of nature. Then he went and did the country thing and I lost track of him. A truly amazing guitarist who in my opinion has reached the "Rock God" status.🤘
O... M... G...! To my opinion, this host is the cooolest dirtpig alive on this planet. The guest is as well a great melodygroover. I'm afraid I'll never make it to this level ... but I like the groove. Stuff like this will help me to keep goin' on drawin' the best from my 3 Stents. Thanxx for this Kikkstarrtt !!!
Phil Anselmo once said in a interview (something like this): "The difference of older bands and bands today is that the bands today take a one band that they love and copy it, but when we started/make music (and older bands and some after), they/us do not take one band, we all take say 10 bands we love, and "copy" those (as all music is done before), so the music is/was much richer when you have influences from all over the board, and not just from one angle" (yes I know, that this is not word from word but it was something like that that he said and I agree 150%) :)
And so what if he is a junkie? No1 is just one thing. Are just a troll? No, we all are many things, would that argument be more true or false if a straight edge guy said it? Or if a "drink-wine-with-meal" kinda guy said it? No. The comment would still be the same.
Cosminen Some people just don't understand that they are people Too! They make the same flaws and make mistakes. Only because he is famous, will his mistakes be held against him forever. And that is a screwed up fact! Some people are just assholes!

yep. One of the best of the 80s, what a player!
YES!
Trace Rollins definitely!
Trace Rollins stfu
Imagine Warren dimartini and George Lynch in the same band as twin guitarists...or would it be too much as they're very similar in their awesomeness?
Totally agree with Zakk. I love his new line of Wylde audio signature guitars
I like them as well. Kind of have a gear crush on the blood Eagle. The natural. Hopefully they will still be making them when I have the money to buy em.
I was waiting for it ;) now I wait for episode with Tony Iommi :)
Nicky is the bomb
Fuck yeah, iommi is the fucking best.
Would really enjoy a collaboration of these 2. The presence of this duo is almost intimidating.
You mean Zakk's solo album...
I heard Tommy can't play. 😅
Get Richie Faulkner. Dude he played in cover bands for years and his library of riffs is insane. Would be great to see his favourite riff
craig fisher. Yep, I second this
craige fisher yep same here! RF just seems like a cool cat and definitely a great player
love when Zakk plays and talks, doesn't even have to think about it
"Dammit why Didn't I write that. Because they did."
-zakk wylde
I would like hear Nikki and Zakk record something they both have amazing tone .
I cant believe i heard Zakk say less is more
Glad to hear zakk say this, tired of people saying your not good because you don't play everything else
Get Richie Faulkner! You can talk about the plans for your UFO tribute band. :)
so awesome to see a couple of my icons sitting down talking shop! just happened to come across this video, kindda wondered what nikki and the crue were up to. heard rumors of a movie called the dirt! read the book ,awesome insight of the crue, actually cried over vince's daughter passing! GOD bless!!!!!
I love how Zakk just starts noodling whenever Nikki starts talking...just doesn't give a fuck.
This is SO inspirational!!! Thank you Nikki and Zakk!!!
tipton or kk downing need an episode and id be a happy camper
Zakk is SOOO new Jersey. Growing up in the garden state, there is a different way to thinking that is pervasive to our state, and a way of communicating that is a bit combative. Listening to Zakk just makes me laugh because he is so NJ and Nikki is all west coast, laid back.
YES hit the like button before it even started. now all we need is Mick Mars
Zakk.. you know.. Wylde
In all seriousness the no more tears era was my favorite Zakk era.
I'm gonna need more reverb please.
MisterGrooves, I think you’ll find it’s delay he’s using here ! Yeah turn it down please.
Man, Zak's hillbilly beard is one of the few metal guitarist. I hope he had a one time collaboration with ZZ Top.
Zakk is KING and Nikki is KING ,,, both are 2 of my all time faves ! great episode man..
Love the Stig Pedersen/Disneyland After Dark 2 string bass reference😎
Bendtsen Magnifico , Sleeping my day away !!!!!!!!!
This fucking changed my mind set completely , thanks Zakk and Sixx
That might have been the coolest episode, ever!
Phil Anselmo once said in a interview (something like this):
"The difference of older bands and bands today is that the bands today take a one band that they love and copy it, but when we started/make music (and older bands and some after), they/us do not take one band, we all take say 10 bands we love, and "copy" those (as all music is done before), so the music is/was much richer when you have influences from all over the board, and not just from one angle"
(yes I know, that this is not word from word but it was something like that that he said and I agree 150%) :)
Cosminen yeah, listen to a junkie as they are always correct
Been clean for years and has done more "and still is" for music than anybody else out there...
Cosminen i dont give a fuck phil is the shit. He can stick hisself all he wants just keep themvocal chords healthy
Great interview, great video! Honestly , thank you for this!
Dave mustaine
yeah..how come Mustaine has not been on this show !!!
cause his saving the best for last
Absolutely
THIS!!
The show is over , so we won't have the dose of metal we need
Couldnt agree more with this interview. Great advice for any musician. Play what you love, what moves you! Thanks for the amazing interview.
