Hey :) my family is from Ukraine , im going to be learning Estonian , Polish, German , Estonian , Turkish I love to learn about Estonia it seems like a nice chilled out country haha plzzzzz respond , I think your awesome xD
Hiiiii :) It's really fun to watch this, because i'm half estonian, but i can't speak it :( love ur language xoxoxox love from ur estonian brother in sweden
Might be good to have a series of "on the street" videos the way yoyo chinese does - I have found it very helpful in improving my Chinese listening skills, especially when they go to different parts of China and you hear different dialects (not that Estonia has so many different accents and dialects as Chinese) - so I think something similar could be very useful for people learning Estonian to hear natural, every day conversations - sort of a interviewer/interviewee format, so people will hear many different questions/answers. (you should look up some of those "yoyo chinese - chinese on the street" videos, some of which are on youtube! They're great!) That, I think, is one of the key thing missing for people trying to learn Estonian - there are comparatively very few resources available (vs, say, German, Spanish, Russian, etc) after all! Another helpful thing might be pronunciation tips for certain letters and sounds that do not exist in English - like with Chinese, the way I learned to pronounce the R sound was that someone explained to me it is like the j sound in the name Jacques - and that small comparison to a more familiar name suddenly made it snap into place in my brain! It doesn't trill like in Estonian - and it isn't hard R like in English - it is somewhere between! As for Estonian, to English speakers, the K can sometimes sound like a G and the P can sound like a B and the T can sound almost like a D so it might help to make sure they know what sound they are actually hearing and how it is made! Great videos! minu lemmik youtuber ;)
Hello, (not sure if you are Estonian or not so i'll write in English)Thank you for all the advice. I will see what i can do. I actually did a video on pronouncing all the letters and even a separate one for the vowels with examples. As for the street... I would need to be in Estonia for that, however, I am all over the world these days so it is quite difficult. The little time i do spend at home I tend to drop all the technology stuff and spend time with family. I do have ideas, but, when it comes to spending hours recording (with gear I don't have) and editing and all that jazz then it doesn't feel right considering how little i can be in Estonia. But we'll see what the future holds.
Hey.. I m indonesian.. maybe my country is not familiar for you, but I was in Tallin and Tartu Estonia one time just for a week. But I do really love your country. I dream to live and stay there for the rest of my life. I m a bartender, guitar player, singer, barber, magician.. I wonder if I could work and live there? And I do really love your video..❤️
Tere! Thanks for the videos. New to Eesti Keel, but it really is fun. I dont know whether it had been asked before, but it would be helpful to see how plurals are formed in Estonian. THanks.
Timo P I had to rewatch the video to reply, but here's a couple: eye silm - szem mouth suu - száj hand käsi - kéz (and kéz also works for the whole arm) elbow küünarnukk - könyök/könyék
It would be interesting if you made some videos about Estonian culture,mentality...you know maybe about how religious you all are or how you see gay people. It would be interesting because we know many things for example about Russia and Lithuania (not good things) but Estonia or Latvia are really anonymous to me,in this sense.Hope you'll read this :)
1.How does religion influence everyday life in Estonia? 2.Are Estonian people gay-friendly? 3.How does the school system work there? These are the topics I'm interested in.Thank you for your time :)

@@LittleMissSquirrel Aitäh! 😉
OMG Its so easy for me it same like my native language
i am from pakistan
that would be much better if you add several sentences with those words used.
There are some words surprisingly similar to Hungarian as well.
Finnish, Estonian and Hungarian all have same roots so that would explain that ;)
As a Hungarian with Estonian friends, I know that, but wasn't really convinced in general. Keep on making videos! :)
like what, please?
