This is my favourite role too as smokes really do give you so many options and can help your team so much more than just killing, as well as getting you loads of kills while you are at it with those lovely shotguns!
I wouldn't worry too much about dying as a pointman/scout. Their ideal use will see them constantly aggressively pushing into enemy territory so all you can do is keep moving into unexpected places and kill them before they kill you. Think of dying as a way to replenish your smoke grenades which you should be trying to make full use of before you die to provide your squad with all the cover you can (as well as yourself of course). If you managed to punch a hole in the enemies defensive line which your squad is currently exploiting before you died then you did your job well and shouldn't worry that you're dying too much.
The GBB Thanks man, I still die alot in this game after spending 50 hours playing :P I've always liked shotguns but in RO2 and RS2 i've come to find that it's somewhat easier to run with the infantry types. I'll try harder as pointman/scout, I'm glad to hear dying alot is part of their daily routine! and keep the vids coming man, I like your style!
Haha we all die a lot at some point in this game :') Yeah the rifleman classes are relatively simple to play as but personally I find the pointman/scout classes to be much more fun, especially when you're not worrying about dying. Will do! Hope the rest of our videos will help you just as much :)

i would personaly think that all the point mans guns are good acept the duck
hate the grease gun to low rate of fire and accuracy is really bad
