Huh, that's interesting. So the console goes on sale but the games rarely go on sale. When the xbox and ps rarely go on sale but the games go on sale often. Interesting
Its absolutely laughable to act like the $50 discount really matters when all the games are ridiculously expensive and don't even come down in price after years and years.
@@kermitthefragg Well, if you would prefer to lay $300 for it on top those expensive game prices, be my guest. Nintendo games have been expensive, and remained so, since the N64 since Nintendo insists on using proprietary cartridges or discs. Besides, the Switch launched with a MSRP of $300. It's already dropped to a consistent $280, and regularly gets discounted $50 to $100 off of that price. With that discount you can get a game and the console instead of just the console, or two games if you get one of the consoles that includes a digital code.
@@gavinm7851 Most consoles from major companies like Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft only sell at a loss for the first year or so. Then the cost reductions of continued mass manufacturing becomes profitable. The PS5 Standard edition was profitable as of Aug. 2021, but there was the silicon shortage, the droughts, and CoVID-19 factoring into that. Sony hasn't been selling the PS5 consoles at a loss for a couple years, especially when you consider that they _increased_ the price of the console in most regions shortly after the consoles became profitable at the original MSRP.
As someone who owns a mighty vibe, and has gone through the setup multiple times, this video makes me realize how impatient Austin is. But maybe he just had more trouble then me. I've synced hundreds of songs and the longest it took me was around 15 minutes for 60 to 40 songs. That doesn't make up for the price though.
I agree with you, I’ve owned a mighty vibe and i used it for long runs when i didn’t want to hold on to my phone, the size and battery life is exceptional Though.
The vibe would be a vibe with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as if most of us couldn't just sync music to our watch or even our headphones themselves these days
i got cheap fake earpods for around $3 including shipping and for the price im shocked how well they work and how decent they sound much better then spending like $159 for the ear pod 3rd gen that they are a knockoff of
I’ve had pretty a good experience with buying amazon renewed tech with one caveat - you want to make sure it’s being sold by amazon, not a third party. Especially for apple stuff. I have a renewed iPad that came to me in essentially perfect condition. But I’ve heard many people have a bad experience with renewed iPhones form third party sellers.
As someone who sold phones and now currently works for a tech store with a lot of phone accessories...iPhone 11 is still incredibly popular. It's cheapness paired with its size is attractive to people, and when I sold phones, it was one of the more popular iPhones for people to buy when upgrading from older phones. It does, however, lead to my current store having a whole box of just one type of iPhone 11 screen protectors. An absolute nightmare to me, when we need every OTHER generation instead :(
Apple is basically a recycling factory at this point. You don't see Samsung squeezing every penny out of their "last-last-last gen model". 2 gens at most.
I actually have those Tozo earbuds. The biggest problem is there is a variety of quality with them. My first set I had were nice sounding. I lost one of them so I ordered another pair and they sounded like a tin can. I got them replaced for free, and the ones I use currently sound better than my first ones. For $20, they are easily the best earbuds. Also, mine are Type-C. I didn't know they came with micro-usb.
I swear by the tozo t 10s! I'm glad I'm not the only one! I have bought the t12s and they sucked. I have bought 200$ earbuds that didn't even come close to the t10s. I will never buy any other ones.
I use Tozo T-12s and love them. They're much better than the Tozo T-6s. They have great bass and clarity. They also have great battery life and are very comfortable even after wearing them for an extended period of time. The only notable downside about them in my opinion are the earbud caps. They cut into the inside of my ears. I swapped them out pretty much immediately after I got them with the earbud caps from the T-6s and they are very comfortable. So, if you get the T-12s ($40> btw) make sure you have spare earbud caps because unfortunately, the ones that come with the T-12s suck, imo. I own 2 pairs of them, and they have lasted over 3 years.
I have 2 pairs of the t6’s except one is missing the left bud( which is why I bought the 2nd pair) for listening to podcasts or these videos they work great! I got the Bluetooth speaker too and I honestly think it is just as good as my gf’s Bose bt speaker.
The Tozo T12s are decent earbuds and are only $10 more. USB-C, waterproof, decent sound. I have a couple pairs, each are over 2 years old and going strong. I’ll even wear one earbud in the shower to listen to the news in the morning and have never had an issue with them.
About the Tozo buds. I recommend their A1 buds. Smaller. Good sound for the price and USB C. Good battery life and charge pod battery capacity. Also try every ear bud ear pieces out. I found the smallest black ones fit in my ear the best and I hated the red hard tube ones those t6 come with installed. The black ones that come with it fit so much better and it makes a huge difference.
Austin, you missed the best part about that portable monitor. Hook it up to your samsung phone and it activates DEX so you now have a full sized screen to do work with or better yet, watching moves with any of the streaming services you use. I use one with my Galaxy S21 and a portable speaker(the built in speakers are crap and no where near loud enough). I carry it to work for downtime so I can watch movies and I can use it on long trips to keep the kids entertained with movies or even let them hook their switch up to it to play games. You got a deal on that one, when I purchased mine it was $170 but still worth it at the time.
On a side note, I think Amazon is now selling refurbished items as new. I bought a PC steering wheel from them and the box it came in was beaten to hell and everything in it was just haphazardly thrown in. Plus it died less than a week later.
The G502 to this day is my favorite mouse! It is so comfy and it is well worth the price. Although I have lost the weight thing. (I didn't really use it) It is still one of the best mice in my opinion and I replace it every few years because that thing can take a beating.
I'm one of those weird people that prefer a heavy mouse. I've bought multiple of these as well and even had Logitech warranty replace one with no hassle. Can't beat it for the price.
I have their MX Master 2S which has essentially the same macros but different form and tailored for digital art. I use it daily for gaming and photoshop and its perfect for me! Had it for a year now and it's holding up brand new! I clean the wheel and shell every once in a while to remove dead skin and other debris but it's worth it if you find it on sale, even for gaming
I have the Tozo earbuds and they are great in my opinion. The sound for using them to talk is not the greatest as you said. But something you can do with them is that you can lay the case on a wireless charger and it will charge the earbuds and the case.
You really kinda brushed over a lot of the features on the 502 Hero. The whole "triangles" on the side thing is actually an LED indicator for the sensitivity level of the mouse's DPI, which can actually be changed on the fly to be more or less sensitive with the two buttons sitting directly in front of that indicator. Plus every button is customizable too and the scroll wheel has the option to have a controlled ratchet or free-spinning. Really glossed over a LOT about it that makes it probably one of if not the most popular gaming mouse made. Oh and side note, people tend to prefer their gaming mice wired instead of wireless because of the greatly reduced input latency.
I have a G502. It definitely is a mouse and does the gaming. That is a significant improvement over the Thermaltake mouse I had before that loses tracking when you move it above grandma speed
Also I think Austin is outside of the mouse's demographic (gamers that require the low latency of a hardwired mouse). I feel like hard wired (or built in [for a laptop keyboard]) is still better than wireless. I bring up keyboards because I tried using a wireless one when playing Rhythm Hell and the input lag was awful while the laptop's built in keyboard did way better, so I can understand the same idea with wired gaming mice.
i think the first device while very clunky is sorta what i like when playing music, easy to hit physical buttons, no touch controls so you can navigate by feel instead of sight. like in my car, i dont want a touch screen, when im bouncing around in pothole city it is a lot harder to use something with a touch screen and a lot easier to just have real buttons
Logitech F310 Controller is gold. I have been using it for more than 10 years. Now, it is my backup controller for multiplayer games but it still works though.
I suppose that's one nice thing about Best Buy, product listings aren't able to be edited as easily and reviews don't carry over to new items. Though it is a fair bit more limited when it comes to selection.
If you want a tiny MP3 player then buy an iPhone Se 2016. You will then not need to carry a big smartphone with you but will still be able to make phone calls.
The F310 controller is probably best selling controller due to memes around the Titanic submarine thing. It used the sube F710 but people are making memes with the F310
Most of the time items have alot of reviews like the headphones the seller was previously selling a cheap everyday item and then changed the listing description and info into whatever product u want to sell and that item will automatically have all the positive reviews from the previous item even if it is totally different. Best to read reviews before ordering
It's actually been the best seller for years, I believe. I needed a cheap controller for a little emulation box in like 2020 and Amazon suggested this one. It's alright for $15.
the F510 was the best. all the features of the F710 (still sold as well) except wireless. however, the F710 needs two AA batteries that make holding it different and awkward, plus way heavier at the back.
It actually makes sense that the original switch model is so popular over future revisions. The original revision is the only one that can be soft modded.
I learned many decades ago that just because something is popular or sells well does NOT in any way indicate it is actually good. In far too many cases it seems that people see something that is popular and just stop looking thinking that if so many other people like it then it MUST be good so there is no point in trying to find better. They are just sheep going along with the rest of the flock with no idea that the flock is heading to the abattoir. When I see a "best seller" tag I immediately become suspicious and start looking for alternative options. 99% of the time I find something much better and often for less $$$.
That mouse is so popular, someone tried to steal it from my GameStop two weeks ago, LoL. But the locking peg stopped them. They did steal an unlocked $30 Razer mouse though.
I liked my Tozos! I didn't buy them for $20 expecting them to be top-quality earbuds. I got them for something to use at the gym an inevitably leave a bud on the back of my car as I drove away. For 20$, they're great!
Observation, US people pay way less for expensive products like gaming laptops, monitors etc but also pays multiple times MORE for basic cheap small stuff like keyboards mouse headsets cables mp3 players etc
I own and use the G502 Hero, and Austin is right. It's comfortable, it has extra buttons, it lights up. But Austin didn't mention the Logitech PC app, which lets you control the RGB and assign keyboard buttons on your mouse, if you so choose. It is an extra step or two, but it's worth it
The original ipod shuffle was 99$ for the 512 MB and 149$ for the 1 GB... in today's money it would be 158$ and 238$ respectively. And it had an USB-A plug to charge and sync.
My experience - I bought an excellent condition S22 ultra 512GB. Phone came totally scuffed and scratches on screen and they never took the phone back saying I might have caused that. G502 mouse - wire gave up after 8 months and the left key broke. Had too much hassle with Logitech which never came to fruition. Do not just go over the reviews. Research.

I had the Tozo T6 several years ago & they were very decent. I have the A2 & A3 now & they are the best bang for the buck I've bought on Amazon by far (both are usb-c btw).
When you’re talking about Logitech stuff, like the F310 or their mech keyboards or gaming mice, you’re looking at “power-user” level tech. Not advanced, not hobbyist, but not cheap crap either. I have the F310, I like it. And I miss my Trackman Marble.
I own a Mighty pod and love it. It was totally worth it to me. I use it for school to listen to music while keeping my phone completely away from me. (I'm in college studying architecture). My roomate also owns one since he uses an e-ink phone that doesn't have music

@Zeldur most modern consoles are sold at cost or a minor loss; they make their profit in games and subscriptions
Disappointed about the Anker sponsor tbh.
It would help alot if amazon made "# of products sold on amazon" a figure displayed right next to "# of reviews"
Not sure how I feel about the anker sponsership
their eufy controversy shys me away from it
As someone who owns a mighty vibe, and has gone through the setup multiple times, this video makes me realize how impatient Austin is. But maybe he just had more trouble then me. I've synced hundreds of songs and the longest it took me was around 15 minutes for 60 to 40 songs.
That doesn't make up for the price though.
I agree with you, I’ve owned a mighty vibe and i used it for long runs when i didn’t want to hold on to my phone, the size and battery life is exceptional
Though.
The vibe would be a vibe with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as if most of us couldn't just sync music to our watch or even our headphones themselves these days
For $20 those wireless headphones mic is actually not bad. Not great, but definitely better than most that I've heard 😅
Wireless headphone microphones never sound great. It's the benefit of a wire 😅
@@ShockingPikachu I'm just saying 😂 I've seen far more expensive Bluetooth headphones that sound way worse than that. For $20 it's not terrible.
@@ChanceMannor agreed. DankPods has reviewed some earbud mics that have sounded like hot garbage compared to the T-6s mic.

I have the older version from 2021 with Usb-micro b and they have a nice sound and for the price very good.
I have 2 pairs of the t6’s except one is missing the left bud( which is why I bought the 2nd pair) for listening to podcasts or these videos they work great! I got the Bluetooth speaker too and I honestly think it is just as good as my gf’s Bose bt speaker.
The MP3 is just a middleman, if you're using Bluetooth and your phone you may as well just use your phone and wired or wireless headphones
The Tozo T12s are decent earbuds and are only $10 more. USB-C, waterproof, decent sound. I have a couple pairs, each are over 2 years old and going strong. I’ll even wear one earbud in the shower to listen to the news in the morning and have never had an issue with them.
I have had my T10s for 3 years and they still kick ass
at 3:00 I was really not expecting to see a Kamen Rider OOO sticker. Now I'm left wondering who is the Kamen Rider fan at Austin's office.
I personally do research before buying no matter what if it's best selling or not.
same. recent reviews and top reviews can be very telling as to whether a product is worth the hype.
I feel like for that controller he should have tested it with Subnautica
Didn't anker get busted stealing pics and videos through one of their side companies? That was why ltt dropped them
Kamen rider OOO reference in 3:02
I have the Tozo earbuds and they are great in my opinion. The sound for using them to talk is not the greatest as you said. But something you can do with them is that you can lay the case on a wireless charger and it will charge the earbuds and the case.
13:00
I have those exact earphones and I Got to say the "updated for 2023" and the version that I have that I got back in like 2020 are the exact same
Anker spy on you and lie about it love their products just can’t support that stuff
Anker lost ltt so they went to Austin Evans lmfao
the tajadol medal on the macbook at 3:01 ...? who back there is a rider fan?!
I bring up keyboards because I tried using a wireless one when playing Rhythm Hell and the input lag was awful while the laptop's built in keyboard did way better, so I can understand the same idea with wired gaming mice.
i think the first device while very clunky is sorta what i like when playing music, easy to hit physical buttons, no touch controls so you can navigate by feel instead of sight. like in my car, i dont want a touch screen, when im bouncing around in pothole city it is a lot harder to use something with a touch screen and a lot easier to just have real buttons
can we talk about how Austin is using anker as an ad spot but linus publicly dropped them
Logitech F310 Controller is gold. I have been using it for more than 10 years. Now, it is my backup controller for multiplayer games but it still works though.
An anker sponership seriously?
I suppose that's one nice thing about Best Buy, product listings aren't able to be edited as easily and reviews don't carry over to new items. Though it is a fair bit more limited when it comes to selection.
Not a single submarine joke with the Logitech controller review? That's impressive
Came here for this comment haha
Because there were no cables attached.
Apparently logitech controllers are not compatible with submarines either.
I'm really happy with the Tozo T10 earbuds. $26, USBC, wireless charging case, 8hrs per earbud.
Watching the video with them rn, hurt my heart when he said they suck
Watching the video, listening on my T12s. They are 2 years old and still going strong.

Very surprised to see Austin still taking money from Anker....hmmm.
Most of the time items have alot of reviews like the headphones the seller was previously selling a cheap everyday item and then changed the listing description and info into whatever product u want to sell and that item will automatically have all the positive reviews from the previous item even if it is totally different. Best to read reviews before ordering
Does... does Austin not know _why_ that specific controller is a best seller right now?
Because it's a good controller it feels really nice it's cheap...😑😑😑
It's actually been the best seller for years, I believe. I needed a cheap controller for a little emulation box in like 2020 and Amazon suggested this one. It's alright for $15.
You could get an excellent portable DAC player for the price of that mp3 player. With a screen🤷
You need to drop anker as a sponsor. Anker’s Eufy deleted these 10 privacy promises instead of answering our questions
the F510 was the best. all the features of the F710 (still sold as well) except wireless. however, the F710 needs two AA batteries that make holding it different and awkward, plus way heavier at the back.
Bought that like 2 months ago and still haven't changed it's batteries.I personally think that the weight is okay on F710.

still using Anker as sponsor 😠😠😠👎👎👎
I learned many decades ago that just because something is popular or sells well does NOT in any way indicate it is actually good. In far too many cases it seems that people see something that is popular and just stop looking thinking that if so many other people like it then it MUST be good so there is no point in trying to find better. They are just sheep going along with the rest of the flock with no idea that the flock is heading to the abattoir. When I see a "best seller" tag I immediately become suspicious and start looking for alternative options. 99% of the time I find something much better and often for less $$$.
Was anyone else waiting for a "What's in the Box" Seven meme when he was unboxing the screen?
Fun fact: the red box switch is the easiest to homebrew and dump roms, mainly due to how easy it is to get that switch model into safe mode.
I work as a travel nurse. Travel monitors are a lifesaver for those of us who spend months on end in rentals away from home.
Worked at an Amazon returns center for a year, and saw a TON of Tozo T6 earbuds. Knew they were gonna be not worth it when you pulled em out

This is eye opening, this is how ordinary people spend money. This is normal, nothing wrong in it, you spend what you have.
My brother has the exact pair of Tozo earbuds and I argued once that they aren't really good and my Raycons were better, but he forcefully disagreed.
The original ipod shuffle was 99$ for the 512 MB and 149$ for the 1 GB... in today's money it would be 158$ and 238$ respectively. And it had an USB-A plug to charge and sync.
My experience -
I bought an excellent condition S22 ultra 512GB. Phone came totally scuffed and scratches on screen and they never took the phone back saying I might have caused that.
G502 mouse - wire gave up after 8 months and the left key broke. Had too much hassle with Logitech which never came to fruition.
