This brings tears to my eyes. This is one of the best and most memorable metal moments in my life. I have been a metalhead for 32 years now and I am from the Dominican Republic. Seeing Africans shred and composing meaningful metal songs like this makes me so proud to be part of the best community in the world. Metal has oficially transcended race, religion, skin color, stereotypes... Keep it up metal brothers unite! As my idol Chuck Schuldiner always said: keep the metal faith alive
Tommy Guerrero Metal is passion, plugging into your soul. It's a gift, but one that many cannot truly understand or appreciate, unfortunately.
Jajajajajajajaj no es pa tanto perrito ..!!
@ Psyche lol seriously this is like the most dramatic comment ive ever seen. metal hasn't transcended at all its just some people from a third world country playing music...
i fucking hear ya on that man
\m/
im a 16 yr old girl from Texas listening to this while I do my chemistry homework. Music really does unite everyone, doesn't it? Keep it heavy guys, love this.
+1
Russia here too with 32 yo man =)

Awesome indeed
The drummer is fucking awesome.
Metallica fan over here but will admit that Lars could probably take a lesson from the drummer LOL.
MetallicaFAN Spartancraze 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Spartancrazertl84 He pulls it off on a rinky dink Walmart kit with a single bass drum! It's not about the machine, it's all about the operator!
No lie! I went to a church that had a drum set like that, and I couldn't believe how amazing it sounded! The operator being highly skilled is a plus too.@@bobweiram6321
The art of shredding demonstrated here.... kudos to the band..... BOTSWANA, AFRICA!
Damn, I typed in "Africa heavy metal" as a joke on the search bar to see what would pop up, but I'm getting such killer music like Wrust and these guys from the Southern portion of the continent. Great stuff, I never would have known.

Same!! Texas metalheads unite. These guys are badass and they have a serious groove going
I love the three-part harmony and polyrhythm. These guys are awesome. The tapping was melodic, the double kick was tight and the bass was and full without being muddy. I personally love things that are busy with a groove
What a talented, gifted group of musicians, that was brilliant, well done gents!

Hailz from Oregon USA. I was just reading how big the metal scene is in South Africa and came across you guys. Kick ass guys!!! Killer instrumental. I've been a metalhead for 41 years and you guys definitely have that old school sound.
Kenya is pretty far away from South Africa. Like short hair the continent away.
I like the drumming a lot, really natural sound to it. Super clean too.
Dude... I accidentally click this video. Came back and heard it half way threw and had to restart it. Amazing!! And those twin guitar moment 😍 love from cali
Man that drummer is awesome!
That drummer is amazing!! O_O

Completely epic, instrumental metal at it's absolute finest
I found ya'll a year ago and keep coming back to this listen to this masterpiece just the same as I do to those fromMetallica, Slayer, Pantera, etc.... It will forever be stuck in my head as one of the great metal instrumentals, imho. Thanks for making this and wherever you four are now, 9 years later, I hope from the bottom of my heart you are doing well!!
Im in love with this band. The drummer with that foot work absolutely amazing. Cheers from the states gents. Cant wait to buy your music
Kudos to the drummer. That bass kick is hammering on point.
Blown Away.....and i love the Scooby Doo Slippers

Good stuff! Brilliant.
Killer writing, lads! Love that it is both heavy and uplifting at the same time! And you're making great use of having two guitarists and a bassist.
Holy fuck, I wasn't prepared to have my face melted.
Wow, great feeling. The chorus is like OMG...thank you, keep playing. Thank you from the CZ
Amazing guys !!!!! I know we have a Metal Nation!!! Without borders!!!!

Wow man !!! This just popped up in my recommended videos. I am absolutely blown away by your sound. I really dig the tones and the drums. Great work !!!
That kick drum sound is killer!🤘🤘🤘
You guys' technique is impressive, for real, and the composition is epic.
Drummer's groove can't be stopped!!
Yup.
This deserves so much more attention! Dudes be shreddin'!
This is an instant favorite. I’m so touched!
this instrumental rocks..............
#feeling heavy metal.............................
proud to be Kenyan,,,
the world is lack of good metal these days then i found this!! like i found a treasure!!! salute from Bali, Indonesia!!!
someone could have told me that this was a left over track from The Jester Race and I'd have believed them. This is great stuff!!!
How exciting it is to find good music in places far away. Traditionally metal is more than other continents. Now my reference in Africa is you. A big hug from Venezuela.
badass song! right up there with Orion no joke. double bass was used perfectly!
Not sure about that. The kick drums sounds too perfect to be played well, probably used triggers, which is unnatural.
who doesnt use triggers on bass drum this days?
p4cm4n69 a lot of people, but thats not really the point, Im pretty sure he’s saying it wouldve sounded better had they had a more natural sounding kick that sounds less robotic
James Willhelm
He isn’t using a double bAss!
Barry Gil Pilar he's using a double pedal gyazo.com/be95b50f2d40e9d9d4dd9a395f90c080
Wow.. What a talent from Africa!
This music is so powerful!
Wow! This is some kick ass melodic metal.

First I've heard of these guys. They're pretty damn good
MMMOORRTTAALL SSOOUULLL!!! Back here 4years later. Love from Nairobi. Stay Shredding.
Greetings from upstate NY, you guys really sound awesome!!! :D
I love seeing the ever-growing diversity within the metal community. Long live metal!!!
YT is just now recommending me this? 4 years later?wtf? this is awesome! why the wait YT?
This is credible, all along I thought I was the only African metal head. Nuff respect Kenya.
this was a killer song! and this video was pretty well done, too.
We need more
You should be in Spotify, amazing song
As a band that was so tight, melodic, and metal. Inspiring poly rhythmic metal. I loved it. ~Miami Florida
I was listening to this when I came across a post on Facebook that was bitching about cultural appropriation. This music is proof that culture is people doing what they love regardless of where they are from or what they look like.
InfernosReaper Exactly!
Because white people doing blackface, or wearing traditional native american headwear in mockery compares to breaking barriers like these guys right? You're a fucking moron.
@@xXAscendingPhoenixXx
No one mentioned mocking other cultures in that thread before you did, so that's entirely on you.
I got shit for having dreads as a white European occasionally and this video is as much appropriation as me choosing to wear my hair the way I do - and I welcome both.
Culture is fluid, cannot simply be possessed, you seem to be the moron.
@@nicccandussi865 The sad thing is braids and dredds aren't unique to African culture.
It's unfortunate when people want to say they fight for justice, but are too lazy to actually fight for justice. That inevitably leads to them just picking on people over petty, and often imagined, slights.
I find myself wondering if the people in this video have had to deal with similar issues you've faced because they do a style of music that's normally considered "white"
It's only appropriation when it's claimed as one's own invention, origin, and/or ownership while in truth it's not.
I never get tired of hearing this. More than likely my most frequented UA-cam video. It really shows here that you don't always have to have vocals to make powerful music, as well.
0:08 not bad.
0:44 getting better
1:04 Hell Yeah! That's just what I need.
subbed.
The drummer guy is the destroyer of the worlds. Period. All the best to you bro from Czech Rep.
