It's been a while since I've done a banjo cover. And apparently I've been living under a rock or something but I had yet to ever hear a Gojira song. But after stumbling upon this Lost in Vegas video I fell in love with this tune. • Gojira - The Heaviest ...
I learned the song on guitar and must have played through Gojira's "The Heaviest Matter of the Universe" a million times. So it only made sense for me to bring back the banjo and give this a proper barn yard treatment.
Thanks to Gojira, Leo Moracchioli, Lost in Vegas & our crew for the help and inspiration. While we had the barn ready to go I figured we'd make a day of it so Metallica's "Fight Fire with Fire" is next! Cheers!

Damien Delvallée yeah they are on a huge role and currently in their music they're evolved to a state of releasing more ear catching music for mainstream that they've been evolving from their last 2 albums for sure. I think it's about time for a new one to keep the momentum going

It is like the first time I ever heard a song by Sabbath, Fu Manchu, Clutch, and Weedeater. This is so intensely beautiful to me, I wish I possessed a greater grasp of purple prose that I may express that in a more profound way. 49 solar cycles, and I am still finding music that stirs me.
