That's very debatable. Every video of lions and tigers on scales or zoo officials giving their weights, the lions are always heavier. And not just in captivty. There are several videos of wild lions weighing between 500 and 550 pounds. I've seen no videos of wild tigers weighing that much. The Siberian tiger project weighed 22 tigers and the largest was 474 pounds.
