Biff's actor doesn't get enough credit for his performance in these movies. His character is one of the most legendary performances in movie history. His performance is by far the best out of all the actors in these movies.
He's a natural. I just can't take my eyes off him and its been said before that he's a sweetheart in real life and I believe it effortlessly.
Thomas F Wilson he was also characters in spongebob such as Reggie the bouncer from the salty spitoon ,Patrick's Imposter dad Marty,Flats the flounder who kept threatening to beat up spongebob, and The Strangler
No doubt. As a kid, I didn't even realize he played Mad Dog Tannen. He was brilliant!
He can easily play for a Breaking Bad character. Just saying.
He was great in Blood In Blood Out too
Anybody notice how Lorraine’s brother seems to always remain behind bars, regardless of alternate realities
It's destiny
killing, or something like that, gets you in jail in all realities :))
Uncle Joey just loves being behind bars. 😁

Fun fact: a lot of people never heard that “the easy way” in theaters because that cut to black happened at the end of a reel. Projectionists assumed the scene was over and cut from one reel to the next before the line was said.
I always wondered if it was some kind of recording mistake or error, since they do it “the hard way” by bopping Marty on the head, but it echos “the easy way” that he had said earlier.
I was in the theater for this movie back in the day and we heard the line, so I think they must have figured it out eventually.
Man, Lorraine is an interesting character. She was a headstrong teen who occasionally stole some liquor from her parents, and in the first timeline she ended up an alcoholic housewife who was just as big a pushover or prudish as George was. Then because George grew a pair after Marty altered the timeline, she was very accepting of Marty dating Jennifer. Yet, with George's premature death turned her back into what she was in the original timeline albeit with Biff's...monetary enhancements. She was always so family oriented. (remember she baked a cake in hopes that her brother would get parole) And here she stays with Biff when he tells her that her kids will be cut off and financially ruined if she leaves. This kind of character trait is also seen in Maggie McFly when she scolds Seamus for offing to help who she believes to be a stranger (Marty when he goes back to 1885.) because she think Seamus might "bring a curse upon the family."
This is such a great series.
But Maggie McFly is not blood related to Lorraine whatsoever. They just look the same, because that's what the producers probably thought would make it less confusing for the audiences.
@@jeshkamyea because Seamus is Marty’s great great grandad on his father’s side .

Part 2 sucked no joy or foul in the film also nobody would go to a casino that had crime around it stupid ass film gale said it didn’t go as good cause the studio didn’t market it as a trilogy it didn’t do as good cause it stank I doubt someone like old biff would be able to understand the time machine and would have crashed it plus I don’t want to see the same film again from a different angle terrible screenwriting at least part three was fun
Such an underrated actress
Tom Wilson is the same. He even played a different character that was related to his main one, and didn't even look like him. Funny how a little makeup and different acting can male the same person look different.
@@gkroll8467 ?
@@gkroll8467 I disagree. I admit the first is always going to be the best but when they return to 1955 in the sequel it was awesome and so was the rest of the film.
I find it concerning how no one seems to question Biff’s apparent good luck with sports betting. You’d think there would be some conspiracy, someone would accuse Biff of cheating, etc.
Then again, Biff IS one of the richest men in America, he probably had those people dealt with.
Still is weird y'know there would probably be an investigation
It only works in the Back to the Future Universe as well because the book from the future changes with the changes to the past. The Butterfly Effect would put an end to the Almanac's accuracy very quickly without that quirk of the BTTF's Universe.
And this existed before Reddit, where people play detective

No they're his little butt buddies 😂😂😂
@Adamguitarherochamp1 They are. That's Match, Skinhead, and 3D. I can tell since one of them is wearing 3D glasses here as he did in 1955. The one with the hat must be Match and the other one must be Skinhead.
So nice of Biff to remain in Hill Valley to share his wealth.
Movie logic. It's easy to ignore. Plus Hill Valley is probably somewhere between San Fran and Los Angeles so why would anyone want to leave?
@Power106Fan I know, hence why I said what I said. Biffco went out of business and only then did he open the casino with the Donal Trump theme.

So there’s a variant of Marty McFly that lives in Switzerland

I think this scene describes what's happening in America right now.😞
The effort that was put on making these movies explains why there can’t be any Back to the Future 4 never and ever
🤣
I say the same thing as the city now is over run with dope fiends, crime, takeovers, and the mayor much like Biff is living lavish while the city burns.
Biff forcing Lorraine to do all those plastic surgeries. Jesus that guys one of the most evil characters in movie history. I didn’t realize this as a little kid.
Yeah they went the extra mile to make him cruel and unlikeable. His actor did a great job conveying Biff, it almost seems like he meant it IRL when he throws Lorraine to the ground and punches Marty in the stomach
If Biff was this powerful, he wouldn't live in Hell Valley anymore. Or at least he would make the place around his casino a cleaner place, don't you think? ;-)

I have to admit that the makeup team aged Biff well for 1985. I saw Thomas F Wilson in that movie with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. He looked about the same as he did in BTTF2.
although the producers made rich Biff in the liking of Donald Trump, even they could not have imagined rich Biff eventually becoming the President

Biff had made a name for himself, even if Marty had escaped and assuming parallel dimensions is used for different timelines.
Biff would've attracted powerful players too. He already legalised gambling in Hill Valley and presents himself as a Patriot too. If this timeline continues there's more to come for Biff.

Biff did attract powerful players. If you read the sub caption in the newspaper that Doc Brown has showing he was committed, it says "Nixon elected for 5th term", when Marty burns the Almanac it changes back to "Reagan elected for 2nd term." His corruption spread enough to lobby for a repeal of the 22nd Amendment.

For years I questioned how Biff's casino was able to stay in business. When the town it's built in has become a cesspool. A business such as this cannot remain operational. If the town is too poor to funnel money into the place. Why do you think Vegas has more than just gambling?

Great 80's triogy
Can you imagine if Biff tried to kill George a few years earlier, Marty wouldn’t have been born!
Yes Marty would have been born because Marty is 17 in 1985 meaning he was 5 when his dad was shot in 1973 making George’s death all the more tragic…
@@Chonkasaurus_Rex I said a few years earlier from 1973 which meant if Biff killed George in 1966-67 Marty wouldn’t have existed and disappeared
2:40 to 2:41 You should be in Switzerland!! my best part
One thing I never got is why the 1985 at the end of the first movie shows the MacFly's living in the same suburb house, when it seems like George had done well in life and would have money to live anywhere else. Course that would have destroyed all the fun, but I still think Marty would not find his family living there when he got back home.
There are quite a few very successful people who remain right in the same house they had when they were starting out. There may be a millionaire across the street that doesn't flaunt it too much.
Of course for the story to work he has to come back to his own bedroom to wake up.
However you don't know when they bought the house. It was definitely not new, as in 1955/56 when the development was built they were just HS kids.
I got your point, and it was for the story to be well finished. Based on my theory, it would also be improbable that his older siblings would still be living with their parents as we see in the breakfast scene in the end. But the worse is to think that there's another Marty around once the original 1985 one ended up in another time line, didn't he?
@@danielwiklicky8145 it was a teen fantasy movie, like Ferris Buller or 16 Candles. Everything had to be from the perspective of a 17yo boy....which most of the audience was as well.

No is George Bush
@@youtubeusers-firzenViewers I don't seem to remember George Bush getting a huge amount of unearned wealth, building and owning shady Casinos, putting his name at the top of gaudy buildings, surrounding himself with floozies and city henchmen, or carrying the demeanor of a self-centered and mean-spirited bully. This scene is one of the darkest moments in the entire franchise for how Part 2 made Biff a monster and the increasing stakes as well.
“We can do this the easy way or the hard way” That’s Rose’s Fiancée in titanic TF 😂😂
For those reading this yes alternate Biff was inspired by Donald Trump. I am not joking, even writer Robert Gale and director Robert Zemickis even said so.
I don't believe that, whatever Gale and Zemickis may say. Trump was nowhere near the public persona in 1989 that he would become later. "The Apprentice" didn't come along until 2004.
@jeffcoat1959 not to the degree he is now, but he was talked about a lot in the 1980s, especially in 1988. He was buying casinos, and his tower, at the time, plus the release of Art of the Deal. Both characters have artificial tans, blonde combovers, and massive egos. Plus, the reference to him posing with portraits of himself and the huge similarities between Trump Plaza and Biff Pleasure Paradise.
@@KorporateKotoo Color me skeptical.
So is there supposed to be another Marty in Switzerland?
That outro is a really good transition tbh.

In that alternative 1985 Marty lives in Switzerland.
There are two Martys at that moment. The one we're watching, and the one in Switzerland.
He attends a boarding school there in this reality. I’m assuming they’re referring to the school Le Rosey where the super wealthy send their kids.
Hill Valley became Biff’s personal fiefdom. For a very brief period that is.
I never understood how 2015 Biff ended up coming back to 2015. Wouldn't he have ended up in a dystopian 2015 instead?
He probably did return to the dystopian 2015. The reason it looks the same is because after Lorraine killed Biff in 1996, she took over the town and fixed it
