Thank you so much for your kind comment. To be honest I feel douchey sometimes when I do the state of the collection videos. Your comment is very encouraging
Those Arabic numerals on the Brietling really pop and look amazing. Nice collection. I agree with you on the JLC, if it was me I would sell both Tudors and get the JLC repaired as they overlap in my humble opinion as white elegant dials with JLC the standout. Thank you for sharing.
decent collection but it is still very mainstream to call yourself a watch hipster in my eyes except for that rare jaeger master quartz. i thought the idea of hipster was the rejection of being following the trend or being the norm and mainstream
+holytiger89 excellent feedback and a sound critique my friend, thank you. I'm not sure if the vintage Tudors are at all mainstream especially the smaller prince oysterdate which I'm still yet to review or feature solo. I think what makes my collection different from he mainstream is my take and approach on size. I did mention that I was contemplating some major changes which I ended up doing. This change which I'm yet to accounts, was initially stirred by the same thought you raised in regards to a few of the watches in the collection. I did let some go! And got the Rolex Date in my last video which I think is not a mainstream way of experiencing a Rolex. Can you guess which ones were let go? If not stay tuned for an update soon. Cheers.
I love a collection that have a variation of sizes. I specially love the small tudors. I hope you keep the JLC to be honest it is the most hipster on he collection.
+MK. Harvey agree the JLC is a keeper. Really irks me though that it doesn’t work anymore and sourcing parts for this thing is starting to seem impossible.
I really like your collection. I personally am an admirer of the Tudor and those two old and beautiful Tudor that you have are a delight, and the Sea-gull is very interesting, the Chinese are getting better, we hope they continue like this. Regarding Omega chronometer I share your opinion: who needs a "man on the moon" if he can have a panda like that?
Very nice, you seem to have a collection where you don’t need to change straps much...I love diff straps, but I find myself hesitant to change straps due to the possibility of damaging the case. Thoughts?
Thanks for your comment if you use the right tools and exercise caution and delicacy :) you will be Aokay. I recommend the watch knife like tool for strap changing and always push the pin towards the back (towards case back not the dial). Cheers
+Mario Pierre thanks Mario! I just ordered a donor watch!!!!! So hopefully soon life will be brought back to it. Stay tuned and thank you for Subscribing.
Had it been another brand maybe it would have been a bad thing but it is not a bad thing with this watch considering how relatively affordable they are.
With the JLC watch are you able to take into JLC for repair, can they fix it ? Another option is to contact Archieluxury, if anyone knows a contact who could help you it would Archie but he more than likely will want $20 for his troubles. That particular component you are after may never come up for sale on EBay etc. unfortunately.
Great collection ! I think your collection is way to eclectic to refer to yourself as a "Hipster" besides you don't own a Panerai ! Which I was toid is the "Hipsters" watch of choice, May I suggest " Gentlemen watch collector " Regardless..your Collection is Cool,
+Bugster987 I still stand by what I said which is that it is the best looking diver ever made in my opinion but had to let it go to get the midsize Seamaster which I only prefer because of its smaller size. The 65 fit me well I must say and I do miss it but I can't keep them all :(
+Marco hahaha gotcha. A sub would be nice indeed although after trying a 40mm sea dweller the other day I'm not convinced the subs are worth what they are going for these days especially that the seadweller is a better watch overall.
hmhm I think the market for submariners is kind of crazy right now. But I have to be honest, I prefer the sizing of your seamaster midsize way more than the 40 mm seadweller/submariner. It makes me seriously want to pull the trigger on one. It's just perfect.
Marco couldn't agree more with you! I'm glad that some people still appreciate the real heritage men's size! Watches only exploded in size just recently (last 15 - 20 years).
+Ryan Snyder yeah I'm trying to be a watch collector / rotator if you will, not a hoarder. Collection was really growing too big. Still was a beautiful watch but because of its size at 42 mm it had to go.
you've got keen eyes my friend! was wondering when someone was going to notice and say something. I am not a bracelet guy but latest acquisition (a day old) will certainty stay on the bracelet.
Thanks for watching man. I am not sure there is consensus on the bond version out there? some say it's the wave pattern one and some say it's both the wave with the skeletonized hands.
Mad Man different taste for different people. Curious what would you pair these watches with? Is there a particular watch strap combo that you have in mind?
"...They just make me happy." This is what watch collecting is all about. Great down to earth video. Subscribed.

A very nice and beautiful watch collection. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you sir!

A Vintage Sub would look great in your collection.
+Vinny Ocean i would love to have a vintage sub! No doubt and you just further planted the idea in my head!

Hello , what size is this Marathon Vulcanizes strap on Omega Seamaster 300M ? Do they make 18 mm?
Love the Seagull watch
+neil piper thanks.
I really like your collection.

+oscar gustavo arcos ruiz thank you oscar for your very nice comment and for taking the time to watch this video. The Tudors are very classy :)
Very nice collection. Love the variation of brands. Did you have a budget when buying Them?
+Felix Wilsby thanks Felix. Not really an overall budget, maybe a budget limit per watch every time I acquired one.
Alright, i get that the watches come at different costs. But if you would be specific, is it around the 5k mark och 3k or 7k?
Very nice, you seem to have a collection where you don’t need to change straps much...I love diff straps, but I find myself hesitant to change straps due to the possibility of damaging the case. Thoughts?

Good stuff - agree smaller better !
Your Explorer 2 made me weep .

Wear them in good health and thanks for nice vid
+Ali Bakhit thank you sir!
Very nice collection. New subscriber here. Cheers👍
TimeToGo Travel And Timepieces much appreciated and welcome to the channel!
So what is the rubber strap you showed at the beginning?
+Alex Gariup marathon rubber strap. Amazing quality and smell!
Man... I can feel you pain. #JJLC I subscribed!
+Mario Pierre thanks Mario! I just ordered a donor watch!!!!! So hopefully soon life will be brought back to it. Stay tuned and thank you for Subscribing.
I've got the same 3511.50 speedy it's absolutely dynamite
Inhouse made movement in a Chinese watch. I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing.
Had it been another brand maybe it would have been a bad thing but it is not a bad thing with this watch considering how relatively affordable they are.
Enjoyed the vid - nice collection you have there, shame about the JLC
+Maf 73 glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah that JLC is stunning in the flesh too!

+Bob FromBrisbane you know I never actually thought about trying to take it to JLC directly. I could try. Thanks for the suggestions sir!

What happened to the Oris 65? Love that watch.
+Bugster987 I still stand by what I said which is that it is the best looking diver ever made in my opinion but had to let it go to get the midsize Seamaster which I only prefer because of its smaller size. The 65 fit me well I must say and I do miss it but I can't keep them all :(
So many watches and so little time
Bugster987 yep!
Great collection!!.. Let me know when your selling the Tudor Prince
+Nick G thanks man. Watch the Fake IWC video to know the fate of the watch :(
i really have to turn on the volume to hear your voice
Nice collection brother 😊
+Collecting Vintage Watches thank you!
Damn shame on me I didnt subscribe yet. New subby inbound!
Well get on it dude! nice, what reference?
+The Watch Hipster ow lol. I meant subby as in subscriber haha. Although a submariner would be a nice find in my mailbox haha
+Marco hahaha gotcha. A sub would be nice indeed although after trying a 40mm sea dweller the other day I'm not convinced the subs are worth what they are going for these days especially that the seadweller is a better watch overall.

Sold the Squale too huh?

Not a bracelet in the bunch, interesting.

Was going to sub but vid quality is sub par unfortunately.
+Rob5886 oli I’m working on increasing the quality. So sub now and you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!
2:07 ... this is not the Bond version.
Thanks for watching man. I am not sure there is consensus on the bond version out there? some say it's the wave pattern one and some say it's both the wave with the skeletonized hands.
The Bond has the "rails" bracelet. You know what i mean?
Rather unsuitable straps there. This is not hipsterish but tasteless.
Mad Man different taste for different people. Curious what would you pair these watches with? Is there a particular watch strap combo that you have in mind?
First and foremost without contrast stitching. Probably without any stitching at all.
I dont see a single problem with a single one of his straps
I agree with you on this one. Not a fan of the stiching at all.
