This guy is so cool. The way he talks… Everything he says sounds so important. I have never seen a more original collection. Totally unique pieces. Never seen before. So original. Like the beard. Wow
Great video, inspiring and informative. The thing I appreciate most is he collects watches HE likes, not, "I need to include a Swiss, a Japanese, a German watch, etc., to demonstrate I'm a well rounded collector". He was able to find unique watches that most people may never hear of. And the bottom line, he purchased items that have meaning to him.
Yesterday I found and purchased a very rare 33mm Chatham Instrument Company nickel cased military watch ca. 1938 . It still retains it's original dial ,red sweep second hand and internal dust cover . it's powered by a Universal Geneve 263 movement and keeps excellent time . Found it at a pawn shop and they had no idea how rare this watch is . Like your collection !
Great collection. I’m new to collecting and am really gravitating towards Seikos and military style watches as well. MKII Cruxible is high on my list, so nice seeing the brand get a mention here.
Thank Jon, great collection with accessible and classic watches of interest to everyday enthusiasts who actual wear and enjoy their watches. More videos like this, please.
Wow a unique and very geeky collection rich in authenticity......lol I feel generic now with my skx and sarb collection..... Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!
Nice collection! I love that seiko gmt model. Unfortunately seiko dont make such simple clean looking 4 hand watches any more. Thanks for the video. BTW.. i subscribed to the channel. Thanks again. Regards.
Excellent video with even better narration . As you spoke of each watch in your collection you personalized the piece to a time in your life, that’s why watches carry importance for so many . Your collection is also terrific I love all of those divers!
Clean example of a 6105! Consider adding a rougher one to your collection so u can daily it and not sweat it. Who knows? You might decide you like the tooltastic vibe of the roughed up 6105 more.
I used to own one more roughed up. Traveled around a lot with it and loved it. If I can find one for the right price it will definitely join the collection! This one was just too pristine to pass on.
To me it's one of the very best Seiko's I've come across and highly underrated. The design language of it is purely Seiko tool watch of the time, but slightly more refined.
2 BROWN BULLHEAD, 1 UFO, 3-7017 FLYBACKS, 1-6139 YELLOW, 1-7016 MONACO, 1-6105-8010,1 -1ST GEN ORANGE MONSTER, 2 BLACK MONSTER, 1-6R15 AIR DIVER, 1 MARINE MASTER QUARTZ, Most all have had a movement overhaul. If you ever want to to a review let me know.

this guy has a story one can relate to. He isnt just throwing money at the hobby and gravitating towards the Swiss Luxe brands like many collectors do

You're far too kind haha. Thanks for checking it out.
Seriously awesome collection. What strap was on the mkII Paradive?
Great video. Would love to ID the nato strap on that Seiko 6105. Looking for a similarly beefy one in that color and I love the non-zulu hardware.

Love it. Great video, and I especially loved his connection and rationale to everything that he was acquiring. Great Job!!
That Seiko Navigator is beautiful. I have a similarly mint example, but no bracelet and that bracelet really sets it off. Great collection!
Same here !
Really cool. More videos like this please. Great collection. I added a few to my never ending wish list.

This is, of what i've seen, the best video of the kind. Worn and wound, we need more of this !
Finally a guy who understands why and where a watch should be worn. Fantastic collection Jon.
Thanks M! Appreciate you watching and glad to hear my perspective resonated with you. Cheers!
Great collection. I’m new to collecting and am really gravitating towards Seikos and military style watches as well. MKII Cruxible is high on my list, so nice seeing the brand get a mention here.
Lovely collection. Beautiful
Great video, Super watches, I have 15 seiko's from the 1970's and love them all
Which ones?
What's the strap on the Paradive watch?
Do you have the answer ?
Thank Jon, great collection with accessible and classic watches of interest to everyday enthusiasts who actual wear and enjoy their watches. More videos like this, please.
Proper watch guy. Great video.
We have the same passion for vintage divers / military watches. There is something attractive to them that modern watches don't have.
Can I ask for whats the brand of the black Velcro strap you have put on for your mk2 please?
Cool collection. Thanks for sharing your watch stories. This was so informative.
Wow a unique and very geeky collection rich in authenticity......lol I feel generic now with my skx and sarb collection..... Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!
Nothing generic at all about those great watches. Enjoy them!
great video, nicely done sir! 👏👏
Nice collection! I love that seiko gmt model. Unfortunately seiko dont make such simple clean looking 4 hand watches any more. Thanks for the video. BTW.. i subscribed to the channel. Thanks again. Regards.

This vid was fantastic. Great content and story told by a cool guy who most certainly gets it.
Jon G part II???? Jon aka Montero Jefe! Let’s go Part II!!!
très belle collection !!
In love with the Mark II super clean watch and dial...very industrial and tool like...Titanium I guess...
Awesome pieces, particularly the Stowa. Love that decentralized seconds counter!!
Awesome video, W&W team! More of that!
Why is he wearing a cap in water . 6:08

Very nice presentation. Thank you. Interesting pieces but not too pricey, right in W&W's wheelhouse.
Wonderful story. I am realizing my love for watches in hindsight, now in my late 30s. Automatic tool watches are beautiful and thanks for sharing!
Thanks Kenneth!
Great watch collection! I love it. But I would have kept the 6105.
This is a great area in which to collect, I love my cwc g10 from 1984. If it was good enough for the British army it's good enough for me!
DH Skips my CWC G10 is my most worn watch, good for everything(except swimming, mine is a 1980).
Love the Seiko GMT....
To me it's one of the very best Seiko's I've come across and highly underrated. The design language of it is purely Seiko tool watch of the time, but slightly more refined.
Part II...W&W, can we get a part II

Nice collection...add a victorinox INOX to your collection.
Excellent vid, proves you do not have to spend a ton of money to have a cool watch collection. I can tell that you enjoy the hunt.
