Love these little dives into Robocop 2 that you're doing, always enjoyed this movie (almost as much as the original). It's fascinating all the scenes that were removed such as Murphy visiting his grave, and the promotional photos which suggested different takes on the villains
Very interesting, I remember checkers, I looked up that stunt coordinators do not get to be in the final credits..maybe he just wanted to be a part of the movie with little to no acknowledgement, why does this remind me kind of like a Resident Evil “Easter Egg” 😆
Hey man, I really like your videos. I would love it if you could review the game Crow Country. I am currently playing it on switch, and its like a tribute to old ps1 survival horror games. It is really interesting and hits that sweet nostalgia spot for all those resi, silent hill, parasite eve, alone in the dark, dino crisis fans :)
Rather than having Robocop dismantled ( uncomfortable viewing) I would've loved to have seen officer Lewis (Nancy Allen) captured by cain's gang Instead. And about to be sacrificed to appease cain's nuke - induced religion only to be rescued by Robocop at the last second. As for who was checkers - hopefully cannon fodder for Robocop's auto 9. Or perhaps Cain/Robocop 2 shot him .
The Robocop sequels and tv series were pretty terrible and were a pal imitation of the Brilliant original film, Robo 2 had its fun moments but failed on most levels ; plot coherence, characterization, satire, ideas ; they were all pretty weak. The third instalment was so bad its not even possible to cover how bad it is here without writing a thesis or a book about it. I like how violent the second one is but Peter Weller gave up after this one and im surprised he even made Robo 2 considering the script, i think Robo 2 must have had a lot of studio interference/editing. Ill stick with the iconic first movie :)
@@pikeflowed yeah, the first one is just perfect. However, RoboCop 2 is my guilty pleasure and 'so bad it's good' movie. I love how both good and bad it is. Very strange, fun and unbalanced movie.
Hey more RoboCop content. Thanks. I found the dismantling scene to be more disturbing than when he was shot to death in the 1st movie.
