Within a few short years courts realized how ridiculous and terribly inaccurate they are. In fact, it was pointed out that dental indentations are often thought no better evidence than blood typing! Several state supreme courts quickly ruled Odontologists can only testify that dental indentations be used to exclude a person but no longer be evidence to convict a person. More people have been granted new trials because dental indentations were used as evidence which are now considered "junk science" than for any other reason in the last 2 decades.

Why did we need to hear from that weird write? She didn't contribute anything to the story.
She had good looks....
Her da Bomb!!!!
First story, Della died in prison (apparently of natural causes) November 20, 2010 at 60 years old.
She only had 4 more years left before being eligible for parole.
And Epstein did not kill himself.
I was just going to say that she wouldn't look so great in a bathing suit at age 60 when she was released.
Did that man say RENTED a baby??? What???? Sir babies cannot be rented. And where did that crazy lady even get a baby for an afternoon, is the baby okay?
The Obamas rented their daughters.

I wish we had forensics teams in SA, if we do it only applies to rich people
They said Della looked good in a bikini, I was hoping they would show a picture.
At least Twenty five years ago, in Australia, when I was working as an RN the suicide rate was the highest among doctors. Particularly those working in the public and private hospital system. I will be the first to admit that some of the issues we deal with can be very tramatising. I am lucky. My tough upbringing taught me the ability of be effectively dissociative. I don’t feel safe with my eldest son at the moment though. He scares me. I fear for my other son and my daughter and the man who has been in my life for 30 years.
Hope u got some help
@@marcianaanthony1798 Thank you.
Next to the Dr they found a steel .38 revolver. At the time he shot himself STEEL was the only material used and the average person would expect nothing but. I know that ceramics are being experimented with but they can't handle the chamber pressure of modern powders and the ATF, FBI, etc don't want ceramic firearms because they don't show up well on security machines. I KNOW the silhouette shows up on the X-Ray machine for airports but it still makes it easier to hide.

That crime writer reminds me of Gayle Wethers from the movie “Scream”

Do the victims families get any proceeds from crime writers???

i watched these stories individually way back u put it all in one so good love it
In the first story the wife did not even look happy in the Wedding photo or the one under the tree. 4 previous marriages by the time she was 40ish is a Red Flag. (or maybe not in America). Seems Karma caught up with her she died in jail in 2010, 10 years before she was even eligible for parole.
What that inspector said about the second case is spot on how I was feeling. Except I got the impression his personal interpretation of lovely really was beautiful. Either way never hear anyone say lovely young man when referring to a victim of a sexual crime.
Bite mark evidence has been shown to be pretty much BS.
whats with the shaky cam throughout the interviews?? Its just distracting
Her son is a good man.. Telling the cops. About her deeds
I always thought This doesn't really happen I thought it's only in the movies. So you guys watch yourself who you fall in love with.
Why does that writer have to go overboard with that walk?
"Always" as in only 61% of murders are cleared in the US - Michigan has the worst murder clearance rate at 17.5%. It is followed by Honolulu, Hawaii (18.8%), Midland, Michigan (23.1%), Saginaw, Michigan (23.3%), and Lima, Ohio (24.5%).
By saying "senseless murder", is the narrator implying that some murders make sense?
Blimey, this programme is so old it doesnt even look like aphrodite jones, shes had so much surgery she looks like a different person!
Lol... So true
Her still mega Sexy
Susie fox you’re lying
How did they miss the bite mark, wtf!!!!!
Bite marks aren’t admissible in court now. They’re not good enough. Not in the UK anyways. I’m so into this series, I’m in training to be a forensic scientist
Bites marks are admissible in the USA. In fact many victims perpetrators have been brought to Justice because of the fine Forensics involved in getting them. Also, there are several cases of them on these episodes of "The New Detectives" that were caught in the USA due to bite marks..
Btw, Good luck on your Education in the field of Forensics.
