Very cool too see as a table tennis fan. Fan Zhendong is a Top 2 player there in the last 8-10 years and the reigning Olympic champion. The tall guy next to Fed at the beginning for the photo is Wang Liqin, a three time singles world champion in the 2000s, he is among the legends of the sport.

For those who don't know fan Zhendong, he's been one of the most consistent table tennis player of all time, probably played the best table tennis match of all time against Ma long in 2017, multiple times n1, won the olympics, top 3 best backhand of all time, top 3 best footwork of all time, probably the best chiquita ever. And those are just some input. It's funny to see how wrong he's on a tennis court considering what a savage he's in a table😅

Fun to see Fan, who is a beast on in table tennis, struggle in tennis. A huge difference in swing construction and follow through. He was definitely using ping pong style swings which don’t cut it in tennis.

This is literally me and my mates playing doubles.
Fan clearly had little or none tennis playing experience, but I am impressed how his feet works. So balanced and always moving. Somehow I feel today's table tennis game translates into tennis pretty well, much better than badminton or squash. Looks incredibly fun to see them in there.

In the beginning interview, Fan Zhendong said he only had 3 tennis lessons prior and already be able to play in the main stadium. 😂 I'm impressed by his tennis skills for a beginner. Guess he is used to perform in the big stages like he have done countless times in ping-pong.

I watch both tennis and TT, and it's interesting to see FZD and ZZZ next to each other. One is CLEARLY a superior athlete over the other. FZD should feel lucky ZZZ chose to play tennis instead of TT.

The Chinese table tennis federation know what length is good for table tennis (not ping pong). They don’t waste time on too tall or too short players.
