This is one of those recipes that proves going vegan is very doable, and not that hard, and very tasty!
If you make it into thin long strips then braid it, roll out again and agin thin strip and braid it. It makes it into chicken like strands of meat.

I like this recipe, I will be trying it. I heard just the vital wheat gluten makes the vegan chicken too chewy, but with this recipe, I can work with the dough more. Thank you so much!
Overall a good recipe and good editing. I think a thicker wet batter (consistency wise more along the likes of a thinner pancake batter) would hold onto the seitan way better and overall result in a thicker and more consistent coverage of crunchy and fried coating.
You actually dont need to wrap eash piece in tinfoil. They turn out good regardless.
What is vital wheat gluten? It looks very interesting
The reason for eating vegan is caring for animal welfare. So it didn't make any sense to find chicken alternative! It's all about mindset!! Take one step at the time and find useful info. you will see being vegan... you could slow aging process at least 10 years!! You are what you eat!!
