Surprisingly GOOD Cream of Mushroom Soup Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole w/ Crunchy Topping

- This video features a cheesy hashbrown casserole using cream of mushroom soup. This was our side dish to go with The Best Hamburger Meatloaf that I made recently. Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole INGREDIENTS:
1 bag FROZEN Hashbrowns (1 # 14 oz)
1 stick (1/2 cup) Butter, melted
1 medium onion chopped
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup (undiluted)
1 cup Sour Cream
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Salt (optional - next time I would omit salt)
1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
9 x 13" baking pan (sprayed with non-stick spray)
TOPPING: Fried Onions (add to preferred amount)
Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes, remove and add fried onions, bake additional 20 minutes; cover with foil if onion getting too dark.

Never made it with cream of mushroom. I will be trying it soon.
Great! I need to make another batch. It freezes great. Just cut it into smaller sections and cover the plastic container with plastic wrap to help prevent freezer burn. Thanks for commenting Shawntel! 🙂❤️👍
