I'm totally in for multiple videos on this game. I'll watch and comment on every one to show my support whether is be story mode, sandbox, or anything else. The game seems like an indie gem.
I don't think I've ever heard suckling used that way. Like 'milk drinker' in skyrim? I like it. Also this game. Cheers, thanks for the excellent content lately Splatt.
This is only a guess, but I think you had to of put a grow room next to the canary, which is why the transports are so important to get the product to your other buildings.
kingdom come deliverance seems like a 'mount and blade'ish inspired game, but with pretty graphics and more expansive. And fps. Check it out it looks awesome! :)
how could it be more expansive than mount and blade, in it you can buy businesses, become a vassal, marry, take over the world, betray, befriend, and upgrade?
Read again... I said SEEMS!! I haven't played it since it's not out yet... but jugging from trailers and gameplay vids with devs it !!!SEEMS!!! very promising.
Please Splattercat protect my wallet: I would LOVE to get more of this game, and if you don't provide, I will probably buy it but I can't afford games right now x)
You need to make videos that appeal to more of your subscribers. You have close to 400k subs but you get 15-20k views on videos. I love your commentary style but a lot of these games seem to be not worth playing. Pick a game or two and stick with it, and make several videos of it. You draw in people with a playthrough of a game and then leave them all hanging by playing several games at once that they don't care about.
Actually, diversifying the amount of games you play is a good way to attract viewers. Because someone will be looking for a Let's Play of it or something and it brings the game to attention to those who follow the channel. Especially in these quick games where you can easily hammer out a level in one video. A long playthrough is going to gradually lose viewers and barely attract new ones.
It attracts viewers but they don't stick around. His Dying Light series was well received and was a more popular game. Stranded Deep as well. A lot of these games generate interest in his subscriber base and then he stops them. Posting a ton of new games all the time is a good way to bring in some fresh viewers but they end up staying that way. He has a substantially lower number of views per video compared to his subscriber count than most other youtubers who post series and more popular games.
Longer series are actually what put the channel in its current state. My view / sub ratio was around 16% across the whole channel before the rebrand. Now it's up to around 30% with the new format. Give it some time, Blitzkriegsler was in the same situation I am about a year ago and turned it around by doing exactly what I'm doing right now., Rest assured I'm working with a lot of other successful youtubers behind the scenes who really know what they're doing to get the channel in ship shape. They're offering me vetted advice on a daily basis about everything in my operation. It'll probably take around a year or so best estimate to fully repair the damage that's happened over the last 2-3 years due to the way I ran things before. It's important to remember that we've only been trying the new format out for around 2 months now and that things take time. In addition on the user end things can be a tiny bit deceitful, I've got access to more info on my end than the viewer does. Stranded deep was popular due to search placement and google placing it high on the SEO rankings for whatever voodoo reason. It's numbers probably shouldn't be used to judge the success / health of the channel because it was a flash in the pan due to googlebots deciding it would "win" the search game. As always, this is an indie showcase channel now, I'm showing off lots of little games because I want people to know about them, not because I want to spend 50+ hours playing them. I find a cool thing, I post a few videos on said cool thing so that people know it exists, then we move to the next cool thing. Thanks for your thoughts and concerns, I appreciate it. If the whole thing ends up blowing up in my face, I'll be to blame and I accept that but the truth is I'm enjoying my work much more now than I was a year ago, hell even 5 months ago. I changed things up because I love this job, and was very close to losing it in march / february. I wanna make people happy every day with my videos while supporting the indie game community I work with, and getting to continue doing that means staying current with the youtube times. Matt
Thanks for the reply. It means a lot that you take into account what your fans think. I totally get that you're doing what makes you happy and that you're also trying to make a living off of these videos. I hope you have a lot of success with this and make it really far. You have a great personality for gaming videos and you're a much more genuine person than a lot of youtubers. As long as you keep putting out videos, I'll keep watching.
I have been a fan for several months now, and I have to admit that I think the new format is actually better. Splatt is my favorite UA-cam gamer, and even I get bored after a few episodes of the same game (with only a couple of exceptions). Switching it up more frequently tends to make everyone happy all around, including devs. I've even bought a couple of games he featured because he played just enough to pique my curiosity, but not so much I was bored. It's a fine line sometimes, but I think he's gotten that "sweet spot" more often recently.
More of these would be sick
I concur
As do I
Dude you could easily play any game you wanted and I could happily watch, your personality is fucking awesome.
This is my favorite series on the channel right now. You should do more lol.
Thanx for always beïng cheerful Splatt

This episode got They Might Be Giants stuck in my head.
You're growing food for dead, or possibly undead canaries. "Gross income" is a pretty accurate statement.
I don't think I've ever heard suckling used that way. Like 'milk drinker' in skyrim? I like it. Also this game. Cheers, thanks for the excellent content lately Splatt.
