I am LOVING this conversation! thank you so much for this content. I am female, 35, married, and child free by choice. I needed to hear this, especially the speaking it with confidence. you are SO right about people when they see you’re wishy washy about it, they will come in hot about why you should have children!
hey guys. thank you for this its crazy how the childfree by choice experience is pretty much the same im from South Africa. I rate your husband did great I wouldn't avail myself as a babysitter ever would just let them know I can't, saying basically the same I dont feel comfortable with watching children so in the future they wouldn't ask me at all
Greetings from Ferntree gully Australia 🇦🇺 im a food delivery driver. I deliver to old peoples homes mostly bed riden for years. Christmas day NOBODY VISITS THEM. I've known the nurse for years. Yep hardly any visitors😢. Story 2 we bought a house lived there for 39 years next to the best neighbours you could ever have.he died at the age of 94 ...OHHHH People turned up. The stuck her in a home .sold the house 😮. THEY WERE THERE KIDS😮😮 so for 39 year's we've never seen them before im 64 married 38 year's child free.😊
I hate that phrase of: “you wouldn’t know because you are not a parent” too because it shows a lack of common sense and/or empathy plus what you guys said! Theres splashing as in cast off and theres being disruptive and lacking consideration & respect for others. The pool is for everyone and everyone should be able to have their little area respected! Also not everyone wants to get their hair wet or drenched anyway, this should be taken into consideration. I am black and I’m not washing my hair every time I go swimming, its exhausting plus I have a chronic illness.
This is a crazy comment to me. I was a child parent when I was younger. We had a lot of babies in my family and the older girls had to care for the babies. I have been raising kids since I was 10. After I graduated college I left my family and decided child free and single. I have done all my parenting so yeah I can give you tons of advice with children. I practically raised my niece because my brother was a teenage dad and the mom was not very capable. So no you don't know me.
Yeah it's more likely that people will be old taking care of themselves or in a nursing home while their kid (s) live life like they don't exist most of the time
Out of pure curiosity how are they wrong? If all you’re doing is living in your echo chamber lining the pockets of the corporate overlords, you really are not producing anything. People who choose to have children are actually contributing to society by producing more offspring and then the cycle of life will continue. A business will eventually die off and be forgotten if it has no heirs. Some things are just facts of lie. This is why humans fight very hard for species who are about to go extinct- we desperately try to breed them and keep the species alive because naturally we as humans see value in reproduction and the bounty of a strong species. This is coming from me as a wife in a DINK household. I feel like as childfree people, we need to not make ourselves look like fools by saying lies. Stand strong in the truth of your beliefs but do not lie to sugar coat them. We are choosing not to have children and choosing to be okay with contributing nothing and being selfish. That a choice that we can stand proud in.

Of course, happy you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for watching! Season 2 is coming in September! 🎉
I just got that book a few weeks ago. Can't wait to dive in!
It's good but like I mentioned, take it in doses so it doesn't become too overwhelming. Let me know what you think!
😂🎉 more role play calls, fantastic
Ha, so random but fun! 😂

That's sad to hear. We've heard so many examples like this over the years.
I haven’t felt peer pressure for over 3 years , I got rid of the wrong peers. They don’t get the fact I’m a natural born artist.
Rick is so funny about people with kids coming to pool
Ha, he's always been like this about the pool.

To me, the splashing wasn't disruptive as far as being disrespectful but I completely understand what you mean about the hair!

So much for kids looking after you...thats total rubbish 😢
It's never a guarantee.

when Republicans start talking about how childless citizens have nothing to offer society, it becomes more important than ever to speak up about it
Our voice matters! 🧡
