Just went on a short 200 mile run vacation with my wife last week took my rv 1987 Ford Econoline class C mobile home with a 460 in it and im running a 2 chamber FlowMonster (no cats) with a 3 inch tubing comming off of the muffler running behind my right rear dually on it and seems like each time i pulled in to a Fuel station hearing that iconic idle and lite rev i get good comments on the sound of that exhaust system. That FlowMonster changed up the whole game on the way i look at my 460 now.
the 5.3 sounds good
Two thumbs up......I have FlowMonster mufflers on both of my trucks ...88 Chevy 350 Silverado with duals and turn downs at the rear bumper and a 87 Ford 460 Econoline mobile home ...and boy i wouldnt trade them for any other mufflers they sound great on both of my sbc and big block ford....P.S. good price too.

Depends on your muffler choice and tip preference..... Them flat tips will have you clapping...... I have 5 inch angle cut tips and 2 flowmaster 40's and they don't clap till you high in the rpm range.....

Gotta love the oil guage almost hitting 80 psi of oil pressure whenever you rev it. Sounds like a Chevy to me. Ford or Dodge doesn’t have the oil pressure problems. Sucks to be a Chevy fan.
