At 29:12 is not entirely correct. Cassian Andor was ordered to assassinate Galen Erso, do to the importance of Erso to the Empire. He could not bring himself to go through with the assassination. But another force was sent by the Rebel Alliance to attack the base, which in their attack mortally wounded Erso. The intention of freeing Erso was by his daughter and the rest of the groups, Andor only played along to get a chance to assassinate Erso. At about 134:40 it was the commander of Blizzard 1 in an AT-AT that took out the power generator at the Rebel base at Hoth, not Vader as the video shows. The audio is correct here, but is confused by the video of a tie interceptor firing on the power generator.
Nice clarification of these errors. There have been a few other errors that I've noticed as well, and I'm only up to the beginning of the events depicted in "The Empire Strikes Back." There is a lot to go through for the crew at Wizards and Warriors, so I suppose errors are bound to happen. The shield will be down in moments. You may start your landing.")

Some much-much-needed complexity was mercifully reintroduced in Andor. The political/family drama of Mon Mothma and the thrilling Luthen Rael subplot were some of the best pieces of sci-fi to be found in recent decades. I do have some more info for you. Iden Versio, Commander of Inferno Squad, was born on the Imperial planet of Vardos and daughter of Admiral Garrick Versio, commander of the Star Destroyer Eviscerator. Her squad was a special forces unit for the Empire, small in size though it may be, operating out of the Imperial Raider-class corvette, the Corvus, and consisting of Iden, her ID10 droid "Dio", and Agents Gideon Hask and Del Meeko. Together they did damage to the Rebels everywhere they went. Iden even resisted an interrogation aboard the Mon Calamari Security Cruiser, Invincible Faith, which might have otherwise given the information to the Rebels about the Imperial Fleet that trapped them at Endor. Inferno Squad was unshakeable until the Battle of Endor when the second Death Star was destroyed. They retreated, with Garrick Versio being one of the many people who received the Messenger Droids of the Emperor that ordered them to begin Operation Cinder. Moff Derrek Raythe of the Star Destroyer Dauntless was one of the ships who carried the special satellites to execute the operation, being defended by Inferno Squad from a Rebel attack on the Fondor Shipyards. Unfortunately for the Empire, keeping the target of Operation Cinder a secret from Iden Versio cost them Inferno Squad. Vardos, her home planet, was a target planet, among other Imperial worlds. Iden and Del, disgusted by the willing sacrifice of Imperial citizens for the mission, defect from the Empire along with the entire Corvus crew, with Hask remaining loyal, being promoted to Commander by Admiral Versio himself. The Corvus then turns itself over to the Rebels aboard the Star Cruiser Restoration under General Lando Calrissian, with Duros, Shriv Suurgav, one of the liberators of Sullust, evaluating them in a way by having Iden and Del join his Danger Squadron for a mission to stop Operation Cinder on Naboo, meeting Leia Organa and destroying the Star Destroyer Torment of Captain Lerr Duvat in the process. Months after that, now joined by Shriv, Inferno Squad directive turns to chasing the Imperial Fleet of Garrick Versio, conducting operations on Bespin and Sullust, as well as retrieving General Han Solo and former Imperial Specialist Ralsius Paldora from Takodana. Finally, Del, Iden, and Shriv participate in the Battle of Jakku, helping wherever they can with the ground assault, disrupting TIE bomber assaults and evacuating ground troops with the help of orbital strikes from the third Starhawk, the Unity. The Admiral Garrick Versio's Eviscerator goes down in the battle, with Iden's father going down with the Star Destroyer. When the battle ends, Iden and Del become a couple and have a daughter named Zay. I hope you appreciate the enlightenment as I couldn't resist adding on to this presentation.
Thanks for this - short summary. It would be useful to see a similar production for the eras from 4000 BBY (or earlier) when the force became usable, and the Jedi and Sith emerged and grew as [institutions]/movements. The 9 films only cover 32 BBY - 35 ABY. This time line includes Solo and Rogue One and all the current TV series. But the history is deep and long (at least to 1,000,000 BBY). Starting with the Celestia Era (c 1,000,00-40,000 BBY); then the era of the Dawn of the Jedi (36,453 BBY) and first Force Wars (25,793 BBY), a host of subsequent expansions, crusades and conflicts, leading up to Old-Republic (25,000-1,000 BBY), High-Republic (500-100 BBY), Rise of Empire/Fall of the Jedi (100-19BBY), Age of Rebellion (3BBY-4ABY), New Republic (5-34ABY), Rise of First Order (34-35 ABY), New Jedi Order/Legacy etc.. (50ABY - unknown)
I'd love a full series that documents fictional and fantastical battles and events WWII documentary style from across shows, films, and books just like this! Brava! Well done!! 🤛🏻
Palpatine is getting nervous at the news of growing rebellions. He calls for Admiral Thrawn. The Emperor gets a call from Vader to report. "Vader! How's my favorite little Sith? What? What do you mean Thrawn's gone? Oh, f*ck! F*ck! F*CK!!! What do you mean he was kidnapped? By who? Whales? Space whales?! Space whales that have light speed?!!! Have you been doing Bacta Drops again?"
I find it interesting in Star Wars lore how year 0 is to denote the battle of Yavin when I find that the end of the clone wars and the rise of the empire would make more sense to be a year 0
BRAVO!!!! I love your voice and these videos are so much fun to watch! The CGI you use is easy to follow and is great for this type of documentary. Blending 3D with card based/turn based video gaming style presentation, it enhances what you do. Kudos to you and I hope more people enjoy what you do. I've spread the message about your channel to as many people as I can at my job. I bartend and talk to all kinds of folks who watch UA-cam and content like what you make. I hope it helps! Great job!
Vader straight solo’d an army and it’s air support while dropping one of the sickest lines in SW. When I was young I wan’ts scared of Vader because big scary bad guy isn’t so scary being beaten by the good guys, now knowing legends I can certainly respect the absolute terror he causes
Aside from losing Thrawn, imagine if Vader had a personal Tie Defender at the Battle of Yavin. Not sure if Tarkin would’ve allowed Thrawn’s input at Yavin, but Vader would definitely have those Tie Defenders.
I suggest to you manda-Lore instead because the Kings and Generals Team are more Casual Fans that depict a Disney wars Timeline that nuked Like almost 50 years worth of Lore thats why its IS so lacking of details
There should be a band of brothers style shown about Twilight company starting from their formation and the mid-rim retreat, to Hoth, to Endor, then to Troithe and then Jakku.
There definitely should! Live action or animated it doesn’t matter to me as long as it’s done right. The GCW is still the most popular time period in SW.
I have an issue with alphabet squadron and vanguard for that matter. Both use mixed fighter Squadrons. This is a bigger deal than people know. There is a reason this isnt done. Each fighter type has its strengths and weaknesses, an A wing is fast but frail its survival depnds on not getting hit. So it has to fly as fast as it can. But breaking formation means you get shot down first because you dont have a wintmate protecting you. So all fighters in a squadron have to fly as slow as its slowest member. That would be the Y or B wing, both having thick shields to cover for this slow speed. It just doesnt work. Plus each fighter is good at pretty much one thing. B wing is a capital ship striker, Y wing is a bomber and the A wing is an interceptor. The benefit of having a mixed fighter squadron is outweighted by just sending Squadrons of the types you need. Need to strike a Star Destroyer? Send B wings with an X or A wing escort. Both of full Squadrons and just their own kind.
This is well written... Well narrated... Well visualized ... Amazingly professional ... Just as nice as the documentary I watched on how the conscious energy of the force created the Sith and the Jedi ... Thankyou W&W .... 🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨💯
When you think the old republic lasted 5000 years as part of that, the so called high republic was 1000. The Empire lasted 24 years. Palpatine was the Liz Truss of galactic politics and in future generations the Empire would barely get a line in history books.
Honestly if I was an Imperial general after the battle of Endor I would've tried to increase my piece of what was left of the pie as well. I wouldn't look to reform the Empire but instead set out to consolidate my own forces, pick a planet I can take, and then work out a deal with the New Republic to keep my pieces. Establishing my own kingdom and securing my own power what would've been important to me as the Empire was dead.

Using Empire At War for the animations was brilliant. Great and comprehensive video!
I'd love a full series that documents fictional and fantastical battles and events WWII documentary style from across shows, films, and books just like this! Brava! Well done!! 🤛🏻
best 3 hours i spent in my life
Palpatine is getting nervous at the news of growing rebellions.
Please do a series on the Red Rising universe! So many great battles and a great universe to explore
53:34 "However, the rebels knew that the empire would strike back" yes indeed.
Oh yes ❤ time to dig in a deep dive star wars video.
Big ups much appreciated nice upload 🤌🏼
Thank you for making this video incredibly informative for Star Wars fans who would like to know more of the going ons of the whole war
Well done. Much respect for the entertaining and articulate storytelling.
You put a TON of work into this. Here's a like and a subscribe.
Wow! Just wow! This was incredibly brilliant! 👏👏👏
Love the animations and how informative this was I feel like a history student in a post empire university
I'm not into star war's but if you guys are doing something on it im watching it. I love everything you put out. Thankyou.
I would love to see you guys do a series on the Jedi civil war or even the war waged between the old republic and the sith empire
Looks like I’m clearing my schedule for the next three hours 👍
will you do the legends storyline in the future?
I hope so, it’s far better than Disney’s one.

This is some top notch visual and audio design. Very impressive, might just be my new favorite channel
Okay now do another one but for the Legends continuity.
Oh dear that'd be like half a day long!
Gotta make one for andor and andor s 2
This is well written... Well narrated... Well visualized ... Amazingly professional ... Just as nice as the documentary I watched on how the conscious energy of the force created the Sith and the Jedi ... Thankyou W&W .... 🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨💯
Awesome work. These are so well made.
Thank you for this masterpiece. Could you do something like this for the Clone Wars? ❤
I fell in love with your channel because of game of thrones break downs, when I found your star wars vids omg u are my top 3rd creator
I think a video on the High Republic Nihil wars would be cool
3 hours? This work day will be legendary
2:04:06
There was also 1 Tector-Class Star Destroyer (:
Very brilliant Video!
LFG! Just found your channel and I love the long form lore videos like this and the Dragon Age one.
Great video. I can't wait for more videos about this universe, like the Clone Wars.
LOVE this long videos and star wars! Perfect combo!🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
We need this for the clone wars
Cutting a 4 season series into 12 minutes is impressive. It also shows S3-S4 (10 minutes) was far superior to S1-S2 (2 minutes)
I’d love to see one of these about Star treks dominion war.
1 second in and I hear "Kings and Generals" voice... this is gonna be good...
These are the sequels we should have gotten, 3 movies, like the prequels, that encompassed this time period.
When you think the old republic lasted 5000 years as part of that, the so called high republic was 1000. The Empire lasted 24 years. Palpatine was the Liz Truss of galactic politics and in future generations the Empire would barely get a line in history books.
I've been away for a while without Internet so coming back to find this in my feed was a wonderful surprise 🤓
Establishing my own kingdom and securing my own power what would've been important to me as the Empire was dead.
i really like the use of models from empire at war
This was simply excellent
Emperor: Can Rebel Alliance please stop kamikazing their ships into my destroyers FOR FIVE FUCKING MINUTES?!
This is the coolest Star Wars i've seen in awhile. Thanks.
This is too good, I just needed some background noise while studying
This is incredible. Please make more, I'm fiending!!!!
Excellent work. Thank you.
It was game over after the empire double crossed Lando.
Old Ben lied to Luke about Darth Vadar being the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker. That bastard, never told Luke the truth, someone will.
If there were a Star Wars University - SWU, the author of this clip must be a noble professor or a Dean of Faculty of Star Wars History. ❤👍🙏
Are you planning to do the entire civil war in legeds that would be too good ❤
That video would be 30 hours long..
@@zzman305 I’d watch it.
@@zzman305more, I'd pay good Patreon money for it
