Just discovered Kerrod golf. Been working on “hidden rotation” and went out and shot a 75, 5 shots below my handicap. My entire issue has been steepness. Hard to believe this could be true, but simply using my core to start my swing and achieving more depth with the club made an instant difference. Pulled or open face shots went away instantly when I was no longer coming in so steep and stalled. Honestly, I now only work on this lesson, the hidden rotation lesson, and SuperSpeed sticks to improve range of motion. It has been a great recipe for rapid improvement. Alex Riggs is also great. Have seen him hit shots. Every golfer should watch this lesson!
Mr gray, ive been trying to improve my consistency for 30 years but have always had questions anout things that i could not get answered. I found your sites about 72 hrs. Ago and ypu have helped me greatly. For the first time im consistently making divots and striking the ball with a previously unknown powered. Thank you and im going to say pne thong to you an older friend used to tell me,”im Voting for you kid”. Thanks for the help, hello lower handicap. Lbk
Great stuff! It gets you more centered over the ball, not swaying. The weight goes BEHIND you in to the left leg. Almost as the body follows the club as the club is the weight. Well,at least my swingthought. Thanks!
So.... I think what's misunderstood in teaching is that without this move EVERYTHING else way more difficult. So some teachers focus SOO much on what they see the hands and arms doing... they almost forget how much of an influence this is... As an example, once I started do this (like 100 times - I still warm up with it), my ball striking changed significantly. My hand positions in the backswing became easier, balance was easier, staying centered was easier and so on. Bravo! Without the pressure from left foot into the ground (diagonally) your hips simply spins out and your arms take over. It's the true secret to the swing.
Hi Kerrod, When you talk about rotation and getting your depth with the arms then loading into the front foot or the feel of falling from there ! I'm interested in the hip rotation, Would l be correct in thinking it that after the right leg has extended pushing the right hip back left leg now with weight on it as you swing the upper body rotates but the left leg straightens to push back the left hip as the right leg returns is creates the hip turn or as we call it rotation, ( but it not just spin out of the lower body)
Great stuff as always, Kerrod. What’s your take on pushing off and down the trail foot into the lead side instead of “falling” into it? Russell Heritage teaches is this way. Would falling be more consistent?

Great tip! The missing link. I'm now crushing the ball. Some time fairway, Sometimes woods. When it goes to the woods its bye bye ball. I knock the crap out of it. I hit it so hard the other day a couple of times in the fairway the ball was crying asking me why did you hit me so hard. lol Practice,Practice ,Practice. Now I know what to practice Thanks K and Al. Kerrod, this was another great vid! Thanks
Happy to help! Thanks for the comment 🙌
Another fantastic video
Great stuff! One of the most valuable swing thoughts I've had recently was the feeling of going downhill right before I complete the backswing!
Many Thanks 👍
I always go downhill before i complete the backswing, only stops when i get back to the clubhouse😂😂
Does this sequence apply to maybe 50-60 yard pitches? But just not go back as far? In other words finesse shots?
Great lesson gents. And you also have criss crossing the screen off to a fine art.
I’m going to go to the driving range right now and work on this, thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thanks
Is this a drill you can use with irons? Or just with driver

Some pple said to stomp left foot some said to push left hip back as we start downswing so which one is correct
Would you say the shift to the leading side comes from your trailing right side (pushing the right foot or from the leading side ? Thanks
The shift starts in the trail side 👍

Hi Kerrod, great instructions, what part of the left foot does one apply the pressure into? Thanks
Hi, Indruj Rai! Depending on your individual swing characteristics.
Liked, subscribed, saved, and will try my best to make sure my playing partners never see this video…….
Lol this is great!
Awesome! Thank you!
This is really good. Good. Good. Keep it up. PLease.
Thank you, William!

That is correct, malcolm parker!
Does this same technique apply to all the clubs in the bag? Thanks!
Sure does, roll62!
Great video, thanks a lot!
Glad you liked it!

Hi! It's the same thing but a different feeling.
Great info
Thanks for watching!
Excellent!!!

Should your backswing and downswing match are be under ? Or doesn’t matter ?
Doesn't matter, Paul.

studies have shown ..though the driver looks to be hitting up, the angle is actually a down angle.. 4 degrees typically
your comments?
very good vid.
With these tips how do you stop coming too far from the inside?
Depends on the cause
Awesome
Thank you mate!
thanks

3:47 ish 💯
It is interesting that in the practice swing your head drops a lot but when you actually hit the ball it drops very little. WHY?
Hi, William! In slow motion, it is more evident.
Hi,today we all know that :the stronger your core, the batter physical shape a golfer is ,the batter he plays.thank you
Tell that to John Daly.
@@alexkhuri3967 hi,don’t know but it looks like his kid does .thank you sr

Dude hit his joke drive with just arms further than I hit with my whole body 😂
Well done. Too bad there wasn't more description on what part of the left foot to land on. That has to be important.
