Thank you for this video and everyone who has made awareness on this. Last week I was approached bye two girls at Tygervally Mall complimenting my hair and asked for my. number so I could share the details of the person who did my hair. Literally the exact same story. A week later she texted me inviting me to a bible study and even invited me to meet her mentor and it was there and then that I remembered of this video. Had it not been for it I probably would have accepted the invitation!

Blows my mind that pregnancy saved your life. Sorry you went through this. This actually so traumatic to think of a phase in your life where your life was not yours to live. The healing that is required from this sounds so overwhelming. Thank you for sharing and making others feel like getting out and healing is possible.

Thank u Babalwa for this, there is this child from UCT I met etaxi rank, beautiful girl, u can see she was brought up well, well manered. She also tried to recruit me and I was up for it but had no chance to go. Until they started harrassing me on the phone, caba she gave my number kwaba badala bathakathayo. Hey they harrrased me until I ignored their calls and as much ba I wasnt going because I was busy with work. But when they were acting all psycho callling none stop, I knew something was not right apha. Now Im worried ngalomntana who was trying to recruit me cause I ignored naye.
YHO!!!!! I was a victim of this cult, I thank God that He gave me the wisdom and discernment to stand up against their brainwashing. They really play on your yearning for a relationship with God. They use that as a hold over you to make you think you're going to Hell if you don't so things the way they do or hold their beliefs. For the longest time I was so heartbroken thinking I had been devoting myself to something GODLY yet it wasn't. Stay vigilant guys. Those most manipulative bunch of people who first worm they way into your lives by thinking they're supportive and want the best for you only to mislead you into their church which manipulates God's Word.

They lure people by first complimenting your hair anything you're wearing..then you're into the deep hole of lion's den. I left when they made me choose between them and my studies and family. I studied in PE and now going home was an issue and I couldnt take tutorials because they chowed "God's time". That time I am doing to final year, ndaqond'ba "Baleka ntombi ngeenyawo zombini".
Lol this other lady on campus at UCT also started the conversation by complementing my braids. So glad I never went to their church. OMG! 😭
Thanks for the video Babalwa. Speaking out and sharing your story is never an easy thing to do but it is commendable because it helps save many other people from falling into the trap as well. This is why protecting the names of such institutions does no justice because the next person doesn't know who or what you're speaking about so that they can protect themselves too. Let's teach ourselves to name and shame boldly so... it's your story anyway no one can change your experience about the church even if they wanted to.❤

Mna I left before meeting the new John. I was too much of a rebel, I questioned a lot and they didn't like that. I wasn't easily manipulated. I genuinely got into it because I wanted to build a strong relationship with God. It's been 7 years mna I left and I bumped into 3 people that I met there, they haven't progressed, they look like shadows of themselves. Yi cult leya.

I have recently shared house with someone I suspect that she is part of the cult😢 She only wore black pants and shoes. She would come back home after 10pm once a week. I stayed with her 4months but I knew nothing about here and she would lock herself in her room all the time.
She was very weird and had a very awful smell. Until I managed to find out that she is part of the cult(books) I asked her to leave coz wow I was scared for my life 😮

She asked me about my purpose and what I am passionate about lol
She would wait for me to go to bed and then she would cook in the middle of the night between 12:00 & 04:00 am. She will never ever make any conversation with me. She told me she have no friends as well.
Her room was ALWAYS locked even if she goes outside to hang laundry.
She lied to me of where she goes to church
There was just this heavy darkness when she was home
