For the people that the Virtual Controller STOP WORKING when you go to the Flight Simulator game: - Just run the Virtual Controller as Administrator Privileges hopefully that helps THUMPS UP THE COMMENT TO OTHER PEOPLE SEE IT.
This is a most important step. You sir are a legend! I had to keep clicking out to another window to the virtual controller app and this got well annoying! Now it runs like a dream! Shame you can't hide the mouse pointer though.
this is one if not THE most important steps from your Mouse Yoke videos. I've scoured the entire web stumbling upon autopilot problem after autopilot problem with the airliners specifically. If you don't set up this "release" step in your controls and hit the AP button on the a320, 747, 787, the autopilot will try to fly the LNAV configuration while your mouse yoke STILL forces your aileron to one side resulting in an eternal death bank. So even if you had programmed the mouse yoke to be turned off, like I did, with a keybind on your keyboard, the game still remembers the last aileron / elevator position and screws up your autopilot. It took me a looong time to figure out where exactly the problem stemmed from. Good luck out there, Ken.
Soo close to perfect... one nitpicking thing though, I recommend setting the Y axis multiplier to 100 * (Screen height ÷ Screen width) in order to make the joystick effect the same in both axes. Otherwise the joystick moves way faster vertically compared to horizontally: 4:3 - 75%, 16:9 - 56.25%, Ultrawide 21:9 - 42.86%, Ultrawide 2560x1080 - 42.19%, etc. of course the reverse can be applied to the x axis, or a proportion set up for different sensitivities overall
Can I choose to have a button activate the joystick controls when I hold it (when joystick is running default is normal mouse for looking around then when I hold the button I binded the yoke controls activate)
December of 2023. Has Microsoft added this yet? If not, Is there a way to make the mouse yoke work ONLY when I press and hold the assigned button? And when not pressed it is in inactive mode?
Everything is working fine, but only as long "Virtual Controller" is the active window in the foreground. As soon as I interact with FlightSim, VirtualController stops becoming the active window (goes into the background) and the inputs stop working. Any idea for a workaround? Are there specific steps that need to be done? It seems there are several people with the same issue when reading the comments in the first video.
@@TikTakMSFS Yes, but sadly still not working. I’m doing the following steps: - Followed each of your steps in the video - Turn off computer - Turn on computer - Start „VirtualController“ - Activate VirtualController - Open Steam - Run FlightSimulator as Administrator via Steam - Flightsimulator opens in Fullscreen mode - I start a flight, and the Mouse controls are normal as you would usually expect in FlightSim - If I push Alt-Tab and bring the window of „VirtualController“ into the foreground, suddenly the mouse controls start working. @@TikTakMSFS One possible solution to the problem was found by user "Abdalrahman Hazem". If you have been running the game in administrator mode, deactivate the mode. Simply don't run the game as an administrator, that fixed it for him aswell as for me. Could you post this fix in the video description? It could prevent other users from running into the same isse. "Virtual Controller" must have some kind of issues when dealing with software that is run as an administrator.
Hey tik tak, Thats really good, o have only one minor issue, when I hold the button to release the Axis wont gp tô the exact center, It Will do a slight sink the right... How do I calibrate this? [EDIT] Solved, opened the gamepad manager on windows, selected the vJoy gamepad, advamced tab and restored it, erasing the previous calibration... Turned out that I had calibrated sometime ago, as I already had the vJoy installed... Gonna let this info here If usefull for somebody...

Yeah exactly, I would plummet to the ground with no way of moving my mouse yoke upwards enough to recover.
no nonsense much needed tutorial, good content. I have subbed for more flight sim related content,
How can I just push one button to disarm it and if I press the same button again it will be armed again? Need to know what to configure.

how can this not be in game mechanic..
Is there a way to set a button to enable the yoke and one to disable it? Similar to the control-y in fsx, thanks for the video BTW

could you make a tutorial on how to look around by holding the spacebar key and moving the mouse to look around just like in fsx?
Can I choose to have a button activate the joystick controls when I hold it (when joystick is running default is normal mouse for looking around then when I hold the button I binded the yoke controls activate)
Thank You For the Tutorial💯Much Appreciated. . .But instead of holding it. . .Would i be able to put it as a "Press" instead?. . .And it will work?
Thank you so much. This helped me a lot!
Thanks man. Until MSF fix this I will use your advice.

So Vjoy is not required ?

how do i make it that when i press it that it toggles it
You are the man good sir...
Is there a way to have this toggled?
Hello Please reply I want the program to still work even in fullscreen ingame help!
When hold the comma key it only disables the yoke but i cant moved the camera is there something i am doing wrong
All this does for me is toggle back to the neutral position, but it doesn't hold... the mouse is still active.. What could I be doing wrong?
How to setup throttles to mouse scroll?
Can't you just bind it to middle mouse so that when you go into freelook and exit freelook, the axis release would do the same?
Can u share that preset from Virtual controller ? D:/Virtual Controller\Profiles
