if you could fly by moving the mouse (like warthunder) then hold a button to move your mouse around to select all the gears and stuff then that would have made it alot more easier
I see - i have seen a few videos where they made the mouse into a yoike. Could work here too. Havent tried that yet! I do actually time to time fly from inside cockpit and i click the gears and use KB to help out. Tried that yet?
Thanks for this, just got a new gaming Laptop mainly for MSF. However I have been very confused with the controls. The controls are also very sensitive, even the slightest touch of 2,4,6,8 etc make the plane bank too much or just go out of control
I did create a smooth turn video after this video - and its a huuge difference. Can recommend. When you seen that one - adjust sensitivity in settings. That could help 🙏
why no matter where I take off or land and have a touch down, my plane always goes right or left and have to keep pressing num enter or num 0 to try to go straight

How do you get it to smoothly go up/down or turn? I just tried playing for the first time, and every time I tap/hold 2, 8, 4, or 6 to attempt to steer, the plane keeps going all the way in that direction without stopping, even when the key is no longer pressed.
I have a video called smooth turns and also advanced guides as well. You have to parry to the other side as well. I think it was , and enter/0 key as well on your numpad together with ctrl for smoother turns. But everything is explained in my other videos!
I have multiple guides that makes it easier with mouse and keyboard! :) And yes I would say so - its harder in the beginning and especially landing can be rough. Easier with smaller planes! :D
Now I understand what mistake I do when tryna turn or go up or down. I used to hold the keys and then my plane just goes brrrrrrrrr. Thank you for enlightening me that I'm just supposed to tap the keys XD I'm so dumb lol

Check keyboard layouts in settings or get an xbox controller. The controller is amazing for the game and can be used for other games as well. Also cheap numpads/keyboards with numpads can be found. I also have a video on xbox controller 🙏

I don't know what happened with the keyboard controll when I press numpad 2 for pitching up. It takes few seconds to pitch up. Is there anything I can do. Only the primary control are laggy for some reason
bro you can use your mobile as controller you can use mobile gyro as flight yay stick and you can also create custum buttons with key bindings you need
hey there, i just got MSF and thinking of getting a hotas, but in the meantime, trying out with mouse and keyboard. How on earth do you control your rudder? in the 3rd training when taking off with cessna, my plane does not fly straight when taking off, but due to rudder never getting in centre position it will always bank left or right.. this is impossible to get right by tapping the 0 and enter.. it will never be in the safe mid position so the plane flies stable without turning. what am I doing wrong?
I think that is a bug.. I saw a video where people complained the plane is steering to the left.. No clue if its the same issue though.. Atleast there has been complaint the plane goes a bit to the left
@@Whoozaa the issue is that you need the same controls to taxi to runway, once you are airborne the rudders arent centered/neutral, causing the plane to bank (left or right) if you want to adjust with the 0/enter you keep tapping both to try to get it straight for steady flight, which is near impossible... :(
I have a problem, when I bind my controls to w,a,s,d. it doesn't snap the yoke back when I stop imputing, so I have to manually turn it back before my plane absolutely dies, is there any way to get it to auto snap back?

I've been trying to play this game for a week now but the FLY button does not work when going into free flight mode. Does anyone know what to do about it?
@@marc_smd0484 does your eyboard have numbers to the right? If so there is a hotkey there called NUM press that. Would also recommend watch my smooth tuurns video & tips and trix! Hope it helped :)
I have updated videos that might be better! Watch the smooth turns video for example. But "num" is the numlock key that you have to click to activate the numpad. There is also a decimal on your numpad you can use. Its very confusing.
can i use hotas joystick and mouse ? or can i use all three joystick keyboard and mouse ? just trying to find out before my xbox series x arrives. i have already bought a thrustmaster hotas joystick so need to know what to combine it with for realism and ease of use. Thankyou
I havent tried actually. BUT there have been issues with connecting third party gadgets to xbox - solution was to unplug everything, even the power cord and then plug everything in. Sometimes replug in a different order. Just thought i should mention if there is any future issues :)
Well, its not that simple. Look at my video on how to do smooth turns. You have to use multiple keys around the numpad keys. So dont forget to rebind those as well!
Just installed MFS can't even finish 3rd tutorial where you need to turn right. As soon as the instructor gives me control ... plane just plummets into the ground. I went 3 x over previous lessons. How do I do this ? (keyboard and mouse)
I would say its easier you start a free flight and see how far you can get. For me thats way easier than the tutorials. Also i have multiple videos how to get up there and take SMOOTH turns. I might recommend that video how you can take smoother turns so you wont plummet down. But thats my recommendation! 1. Try a free flight - see how far you get and if you can keep the plane stable 2. Try to do different kind of turns (free flight) 3. Go back to tutorial. If you learn how to take smooth turns when you have decided the situation might make it easier for you!

Why do I seem to tap either left or right and it just goes all the way left or right even after a quick tap? Like a slight touch and I’m upside down hurtling to the ground. I have been so hyper to play but given up after 30 minutes. Any tips would be appreciated. Is it a problem with settings or something?
Have you seen my smooth turns video? That will help a lot. And I must say I did get an Xbox controller and its HELLA EASY. And xbox controller can be used in other games as well. But i have multiple guides how to land / fly and what not. But whats easier is to try to fly small planes first! Muuch easier. And also you can put your plane mid air and then you just fly 💪

Hey sir I have a question, when ever I try to yaw left or right using my private jet, it never turns left or right. If it does turn then its very glitch not smooth at all. Can you tell me what settings should I change to make the handle smoothly move up, down, left and right? Right now the handle gets stuck and moves in a very glitch way. I'm on pc
@@Whoozaa oh, I haven't seen that one but I don't really think I can do smooth turns because even if I'm on ground I hardly can turn left or right since the handle doesn't move at all or when it does move it moves horribly.

@@Whoozaa well I'm able to move the throttle all the way to 100% the plane gets going enough to where it takes off then a power failure sound happens and I loose control of the throttle. I try and bring it back to 100% but it slowly automatically goes back down
@@Whoozaa unffornionatley still having the * problem . Everytime I just about get airborne the plane shuts off its engines and I can't use the throttle anymore. I have tried doing everything to the controls...and nothing. Its got to be a serious Microsoft bug in this game.
Actually its not just airborne even when I use the throttle for a a few seconds on 100% it will auto shut itself off and I am stuck..Nothing more to do than to reset the *

I don't know what happened with the keyboard controll when I press numpad 2 for pitching up. It takes few seconds to pitch up. Is there anything I can do. Only the primary control are laggy for some reason

bro you can use your mobile as controller
you can use mobile gyro as flight yay stick
and you can also create custum buttons with key bindings you need
and you can actually land using controls on mobile

hey there, i just got MSF and thinking of getting a hotas, but in the meantime, trying out with mouse and keyboard. How on earth do you control your rudder? in the 3rd training when taking off with cessna, my plane does not fly straight when taking off, but due to rudder never getting in centre position it will always bank left or right.. this is impossible to get right by tapping the 0 and enter.. it will never be in the safe mid position so the plane flies stable without turning. what am I doing wrong?
I think that is a bug.. I saw a video where people complained the plane is steering to the left.. No clue if its the same issue though.. Atleast there has been complaint the plane goes a bit to the left
@@Whoozaa the issue is that you need the same controls to taxi to runway, once you are airborne the rudders arent centered/neutral, causing the plane to bank (left or right) if you want to adjust with the 0/enter you keep tapping both to try to get it straight for steady flight, which is near impossible... :(

I have a problem, when I bind my controls to w,a,s,d. it doesn't snap the yoke back when I stop imputing, so I have to manually turn it back before my plane absolutely dies, is there any way to get it to auto snap back?

Well you could buy a seperate numpad for like 10-20€, they are quite cheap. I dont know what kind of settings are on a TKL keyboard 🤔

Numpad keys! Just remember to activate your numpad by clicking num! Also have other videos thats more advanced and for doing smooth turns! Let me know what you think about the videos :)

I have updated videos that might be better! Watch the smooth turns video for example. But "num" is the numlock key that you have to click to activate the numpad.
There is also a decimal on your numpad you can use. Its very confusing.
can i use hotas joystick and mouse ? or can i use all three joystick keyboard and mouse ? just trying to find out before my xbox series x arrives. i have already bought a thrustmaster hotas joystick so need to know what to combine it with for realism and ease of use. Thankyou
I havent tried actually. BUT there have been issues with connecting third party gadgets to xbox - solution was to unplug everything, even the power cord and then plug everything in. Sometimes replug in a different order. Just thought i should mention if there is any future issues :)
whenever i press the numbers in the num pad they always move my camera inside the plane not the actual plane

Well, its not that simple. Look at my video on how to do smooth turns. You have to use multiple keys around the numpad keys. So dont forget to rebind those as well!
Just installed MFS can't even finish 3rd tutorial where you need to turn right. As soon as the instructor gives me control ... plane just plummets into the ground. I went 3 x over previous lessons.

I would say its easier you start a free flight and see how far you can get. For me thats way easier than the tutorials. Also i have multiple videos how to get up there and take SMOOTH turns. I might recommend that video how you can take smoother turns so you wont plummet down. But thats my recommendation!
1. Try a free flight - see how far you get and if you can keep the plane stable
2. Try to do different kind of turns (free flight)
3. Go back to tutorial.
If you learn how to take smooth turns when you have decided the situation might make it easier for you!

You could go to settings and see how its mapped - or get a controller / external numpad. They are not so expensive!
I disangaged the parking park but when I increase the throttle the plane doesn’t move
It should move! Have you fixed the issue yet? If the plane do not move when you increase throttle to 100% it sounds like breaks are on

Why do I seem to tap either left or right and it just goes all the way left or right even after a quick tap? Like a slight touch and I’m upside down hurtling to the ground. I have been so hyper to play but given up after 30 minutes. Any tips would be appreciated. Is it a problem with settings or something?
Have you seen my smooth turns video? That will help a lot. And I must say I did get an Xbox controller and its HELLA EASY. And xbox controller can be used in other games as well.
But i have multiple guides how to land / fly and what not. But whats easier is to try to fly small planes first! Muuch easier. And also you can put your plane mid air and then you just fly 💪

You turn left and right on the numpad section on your keyboard number 6 to go to the right and number 4 to the left!

Hey sir I have a question, when ever I try to yaw left or right using my private jet, it never turns left or right. If it does turn then its very glitch not smooth at all. Can you tell me what settings should I change to make the handle smoothly move up, down, left and right? Right now the handle gets stuck and moves in a very glitch way. I'm on pc

@@Whoozaa oh, I haven't seen that one but I don't really think I can do smooth turns because even if I'm on ground I hardly can turn left or right since the handle doesn't move at all or when it does move it moves horribly.

My throttle is not moving the plane? Any ideas is it a bug?
Its the hand break! Have you turned that one off?
@@Whoozaa well I'm able to move the throttle all the way to 100% the plane gets going enough to where it takes off then a power failure sound happens and I loose control of the throttle. I try and bring it back to 100% but it slowly automatically goes back down
@@Whoozaa unffornionatley still having the * problem . Everytime I just about get airborne the plane shuts off its engines and I can't use the throttle anymore. I have tried doing everything to the controls...and nothing. Its got to be a serious Microsoft bug in this game.
Actually its not just airborne even when I use the throttle for a a few seconds on 100% it will auto shut itself off and I am stuck..Nothing more to do than to reset the *
