people need to understand they are not removable other then being replaced or upgraded, the lesser version is wasted, the game doesn't cover that detail probably because it is to their benefit, I like a lot of the complexity but some times certain mechanics are stupid, like 24hour locked downs on mastery test or this, it cost 40PL and you would think something that either cost money or a lot of time and resources they would make sure that one detail was distinctly crystal clear instead learning it the hard way.

@@DavidRodriguez-uq8gv no you do not get the lens your are replacing back into your inventory, it becomes scrap I guess for a lack of a better term

Man, they really need to make some kind of quest or tutorial to introduce you to this sort of thing, I'm way late in the game and finished basically every quest and have a ton of prime shit and still not a single focus point.

U get them in Cetus. And there U should visit Quill Onkko if you haven´t done iot yet. From him U´ll get a weapon for your oporator. And the linses U can gbet from missions with konzu

only way to get rid of it is to replace it with another, then it is essentially destroyed

I'm lucky, I just finished second quest couple hours ago and I realized I'm not getting any from missions and I thought I'll have to equip a sigil for it or something till I started researching.
