On the note of Eidolon Shards, I would love to see an Eidolon hunt video, but considering Tridolon hunts are their own meta game with so many strategies to remember, I’ll let a Kengineer video on Tridolons be a fleeting dream
Get klamora and madurai, alternate shield damage with another Madurai user and gg. Volt for dps, Trinity for harry to keep lures up safety. It is actually THAT easy with the new Madurai.
One small thing to note(which most should know by now): The EXP you gained will be different based on how you killed the enemy. 50% on frame and 50% on weapon, if you killed the enemy with the weapon; 100% on your frame if you killed the enemy with your skill; and 25% on your frame, and 75% on your weapon if your teammate killed the enemy. Based on how you get your focus, putting the lens in the right weapon/frames is important.
I'm honestly really glad they added the focus boosts to the Thrax units and Angels. I've never enjoyed Eidolon hunts and ESO due to how specific the build requirements are to do them effectively, so it's nice to be able to have a way to gain good amounts of focus with whatever gear I want. Now all I need is another way to get the Arcanes too... And no I'm not counting Orphix, that's just as bad for build variety since there's only TWO necramechs...
I recently read that you can easily farm SO with Volt. It needed 2 Forma and is built for max range, decent strength/duration and Zenurik active. It's already pretty nice solo, but if you have a group with Protea or another, who can give you energy, it's really easy. On the other hand, it's totally boring when you just stand in the middle of the room and press 4 every 5 seconds 😅
Dark Sector Survival on Ceres, Steel Path, with a Lua Lens on Khora usually reaches my 370K focus limit in about 25 minutes (no booster). Find any small room with 3 or 4 corridors connected, drop your Strangledome and spank away.
the elite sanctuary per day with 2 lua lens give the daily max in 8-10 rooms. do it every day for some moth, and you will have all maxed. (give the focus stats with basic lens to compare to eidolon x6 is misleading. and for sanctuary with public group : it is easy to do it solo if they leave. it not a problem to not have a good team.)

Regular Sanctuary Onslaught is actually insane for focus too. With Volt spamming Discharge in a good room with an affinity booster equipped, I've gotten 200k+ focus in a single SO zone multiple times. Though 20-40k per zone (without a booster) is more typical. I think it's arguably better than ESO because your ults don't get put on cooldown. I can hit my daily cap in less than an hour easily.
There is one more type of focus farm: Dark Sector Steel Path missions. Bonus to affinity, infested enemies only and weapon arcanes and steel essence as a bonus. It's also more engaging that ESO since you can't quite go to sleep when you do it. Frankly, any SP mission will get you a nice chunk of affinity if you kill enough things, so get your Kuva Bramma warmed up and get to it.
note i want to make about eidolon hunting, as long as you have a voidrig necramech you dont need any primary weapon his arquebex takes out limbs and the final health bar of all three eidolons in fractions of a second (assuming you hit your shots) and even a rank 1 energy bubble from zenurik is enough to make sure its available when you need it
Subsuming Dispensary from Protea is another way you can keep Voidrig energy topped up, letting you use Madurai for burning down shields even a tiny bit faster.
voidrig isn't as fast or consistent as sniper unless someone is always prefiring their arquebex, but then they become deadweight if a dps is faster lmao
@@dirt8718 im not saying voidrig is the premier way to kill limbs, but it is a functional way for even 3x3 or 4x3 runs that isnt as much of a bother for players just unlocking things since they would have to make it anyways for other activities instead of building a singular weapon up to be used for nothing but eidolon hunts. yes a sniper rifle is faster, but voidrig is fast enough for the majority of people
Another great ability for adaro stealth farming is khora's ensnare as enemies ensared will not be alerted if you fail to 1 shot them allowing players to bring weaker weapons to farm with or rank up

-For people who are equipped, and on-time, and have a good team or an experienced enough hunter. The cap-ignoring aspect is great though. It sucks that hunts are the best way but it makes sense. Also I wish there was a more obvious in-game warning that Eidolon hunts are a Madurai-reliant activity
@@BenMaguireLONEWOLF9989 well , ehhhh , not quite. You only need a very few upgrades to kill the starter eidolons for the shards to then upgrade operator for stronger eidolons.
As someone who has been cheesing mastery with Loki since the game's release, I do have one thing to add - Alerted (even hostile) enemies WILL drop their alert state after a while, thus if you accidentally alert an enemy, just leave them behind. Even extermination missions spawn well over the required limit and enemies will crowd the extraction point until you're done, so if you somehow didn't kill an eximus in one shot (and some status effect doesn't finish it off), just leave it behind; It will return later on in the map, damaged and easier to take out.
I usually prefer doing the zariman mission bounties, that way I'm not only getting a very respectable amount of focus but als loads of endo and standing I can use to get myself some of the stronger weapons and arcanes out there.
Honestly so glad Void Cascade exists because I NEVER used to actively try for focus, it was just so annoying and farming lenses was obnoxious and sucked and upgrading them was even worse and it was so, so bad. Now I can just settle down, farm some arcanes, maybe kill some void angels, cap on focus after like two hours, and actually maybe look forward to someday potentially filling these trees out, instead of getting a pittance of focus at a time from doing regular missions. The fact that these missions also GIVE you lenses is just gravy.
Ive done tons of adaro stealth runs with ivara and i have a small tip for anyone else who wishes to do stealth missions without helminth: Sleep arrow can help reset alert status if u sleep a target, deal 50% of their health (to wake them up) and not use impact (best done by using a weaker secondary weapon ideally not having impact as it will re-alert enemies if u get an impact status to happen as you reach the wake up threshold)
You forgot to mention savage silence banshee with gloom, with a booster, one experienced one can get average 70K focus per 2 mins run with good aoe, if u get a booster and lvl 30 affinity blessing you can get over 150k per 2 mins, best focus farm without a doubt, also the best warframe leveling place, just subsume silence and use savage silence

Gloom savage silence Banshee with affinity booster, 1 lua lens, 1 normal lens averaged 10mins to cap daily focus. I used a pretty good bramma though. If I was lucky and got the cat buff, it would take around 6 minutes. The requirements can be a tad high for lower level players but if you have the gear, it is the fastest method by far.
I was watching this video listening to the focus gain rates of everything and was shocked to hear the eidolon focus rates eventhough ive been doing them for absolutely ages
Duviri gave me my best Focus Farm with the Orowyrm Boss. Provided I can get either Greedy Heal or Nourishing Terror, or have a Warframe that can heal itself, I leave the last Wyrmling alive which will stop the boss fight from progressing but still allowing it to continue spawning enemies, including 3 Thrax Centurions in a very short amount of time. I can consistently gain my max 405k Focus in under 45 min (without a booster) if all of these conditions are met. Having Gloom in the Helminth makes it MUCH easier to accomplish this
For me the best thing is going to sanctuary, man I stay a few minutes and I get at least 10 thousand points in each wave, this is very easy for those who are at the beginning of the game and who have a warframe with continuous area damage
So we are into focus farming! This is the perfect moment for me to query... What teams do you reccomend for ESO and Eidolon Hunting? Both are bang-for-the bunk models and you did stress "with the right team" (or did you say squad, w'eve). You have in numerous hours on individual builds and weapons, can you optimize a squad for us?
In fact, there is a significant refinement of the completion of ADARO. Wisp with a Trap with almost any glaive allows you to get ~ 120k using Lua lenses in one run in 3 minutes. What it's about: Wisp's passive ability grants invisibility while flying, which can be improved with a mod that gives -100% gravity while in controlled flight. Further, the Trap pulls and disables AI mobs in a large radius, undermining the glaive deals lethal damage in a large radius through textures. The only problem is the new eximuses, they are destroyed first of all, since the control abilities work on them, but they still do not detect invisible units
I can save you guys some trouble: By the time you get to the point you'd want to farm focus, you've done 95% of the game. To optimize against this, don't play. Focus limits are re(DACTED)
Holy damn... I didn't realize that you get focus xp purely from killing thrax and the void angels... damn! I definitely need to start getting the rest of my clan to the point where they can join me on the Zariman
Lua Conjunction Survivals also have a fair amount of thrax enemies every 5 minutes, after about a half hour I typically have about 60k focus. I guess thats worth noting too, esp if youre after Voruna or Yontas other Lua Thrax rewards
There is a faster way to go with the Adaro stealth affinity bonus. Was my go to when I still needed to farm focus and still is my go to for leveling frames. Took me around 6 - 10 minutes to max out my focus each day. I used Banshee with the augment savage silence with around 235 - 260 range , you have to adjust this with your speed and what you feel comfortable with, and as much duration as possible and as much duration as possible. Weapon I use is a Kuva Bramma build for raw DPS and I have eidelon lenses on both frame and weapon. a run takes less than 1 min and with the focus orb spawn you get insane focus each run. Reason for stealth bonus is mini stun from savage silence, that makes it possible to get the stealth kill bonus.
Most effective method to earn focus would probably be eido hunts cuz they not only give focus but as well as arcanes that sell for good plat but it requires some setup, also only earning focus with daily limit cap even you are a high MR player takes way too long about.
I run Loki with Banshee's savage silence and used to cap my focus out in about 30 minutes after all the stealth nerfs. I used polearms but using kuva bramma is supposed to be faster, but I'd already used my lenses. Anyway, that is with an affinity booster so one should realistically be able to hit focus cap without a booster in about an hour once they dial in the runs. P.S. Forgot to mention that I was running with greater lenses.
I like to put each lua lens on a glaive amp and smash out a few runs on sanctuary. There are quicker ways but if u just want all focus for one tree it's effective without having to put lens' on everything.
I've been really hyped to start solo eidolon hunting even not being as efficient as with a squad i still find the challenge interesting, any tips or builds or AMPs?
Personally, for my beginning eidolon hunts, I started by focusing on the madurai focus school and built my amp based on Ken's old amp guide. I use a duration build on volt with a bit of efficiency so that I can use his shield to increase damage for both the amp and Rubico. Waybounds haven't really been my focus but I can solo a gantualyst with a little difficulty. I recommend remembering where the lures spawn so that you can get them faster and start your hunt sooner. Don't know if I missed anything but I hope this helps a bit.
@@angelblind9983 the best way-bound to unlock first is probably the zenurik one for max energy, since it lets you get a lot more damage from void strike in madurai

I usually run solo Steel Path Adaro, usually cap out in two runs with affinity booster. Since I'm mostly a lone wolf in Warframe that works best for me.
Recently I've seen someone using Savage silence on any frame while nuking the extermination in Saturn with a maxed silenced Kiva grammar, seems to work really well if you work fast
The trouble with the eidolon hunt is that some people have a life. That 15 min every 1h30 is a pain in the ass. Really wish they'd give some toughts about casual players for those.
I had a affinity booster going this double affinity weekend. I did a stealth Andaro once and was capped before I ran out of bad guys. A shame I can't do that every time!
You seem to have forgotten (or neglected) to mention sortie eximus missions. They are not reliable, of course, but some mission tipes can yield 300 000 focus per 10 minutes with relative ease (with 2 lua lenses ofc).
Probably someone talk about it. There is another way to farm solo -> seel path Terrorem (Deimos) with Khora Kitty and buster i was hiting ~ 25k-50k per orb netting ~ 400k < 1h (Discovered while i needed to farm Mutagen Samples ;/) tldr: fast survi killing machine on steel path is also very good way ps. Eximus could be problematic now, didnt tested it (no need for me :

With a nuke mirage Explosive Legerdemain and just a rhino as a support using roar (both of us running Corrosive Projection) we could make it to 100k as soon as round 3, however this is extremely map dependant and only a couple maps can go that high that fast. The average is between 40-60k per room. However, ever since we added a Volt to our set up, things have been a lot better and the 100k room, while still quite rare, is a lot more frequent and gets a lot higher too, now our average is 50k - 70k but on the good maps we made it as far 182k (that was round 4 by the way, and no, my Kavat did not proc). And if you're wondering which are the most insanely bonker map, those are both infested ship, one corpus, one grineer, and both of the map are quite simitrical on their design and allow you to spawn a kill a ton of ennemies when standing in the middle. Since I'm using Mirage, I only have 1 Lua lenz and it's on my Mirage. Anyway my point is, getting a coordinated squad for ESO make it so you're usually done by the time you make it to the end of round 8 most of the time. If they tileset of the week are a pile of crpa there ain't much more you can do about that tho, but there is usually 1 or 2 maps that will give you that stupid 100k spike and make it worth it, you just have to pray that it isn' t the first one since that one won't give you the focus orb on start.
It will still take literally months to complete anything more than a couple focus schools. Wish de had just cut the numbers on the focus required for each node by a whole order of magnitude.
Tbh I've been using mirage with a certain build that' uses madurai as the school and a cernos ( hentai heaven variant) that is purely for the fire rate that spread corrosive to make then easier to kill
well for the ESO methot, the fokus increases hevy each wave u are in, i hit 23 with a pre squat and got fokus cap from just 1 normel lense on my frame. cant recomend cause hitting realy high waves depends on rotation of ESO.
Please 🙏 give us a new Eidolon farming guide. What's the new meta? Is Unairu wisp dead? This new focus system is causing chaos in public matches, and it seems like every dedicated party is doing things differently now. I would try to solo, but only one or 2 voms spawn at a time making it into a scavenger hunt to change the first lure. I can find a new guide anywhere.
I hate farming focus so much. I'm MR 25 and it still takes 2 days to put one rank in one focus skill. At least doing it through cascades also earns towards the zariman arcanes and weapons.
Wait, amps aren't silent anymore? Why the hell not? What reason could they POSSIBLY have had? I thought Operators had stealth to counter their squishy nature?
want a decent amp for Eidolon hunts? use the free Sil... erm.. the um.. whatever it's called the... Silicon Amp you get for free from the New War quest. that Amp is immensely better than the normal Mote amp. and with the bonus being you are NOT forced to get Eidolon shards in order to craft the better amps in order to get this amp. once you have this amp after beating New War. then you can do Eidolon hunts and actually do decent damage to it's purple shield :)
I'm unsure if its a bug but I cant convert the shards except brilliant ones and I get barely any of them even for a tridolon run. It isnt worth doing whilst this happens and I dont know why.
Possibly a dumb question, as I’m not at the computer now, but do ascendant weapons like Mesa’s regulators have to have their own focus lens installed to not lose out on focus income?
Hot take: Focus Pool and Focus Lenses should be Universal, not Per-School. Why should we be meticulous with our Focus Lenses like we are with Forma? I just wanna level my trees, dadgummit.

Correct. Do be warned that you will want to be careful when doing stealth focus farm, eximus is a pain(personal experience).

I do Harrow with Thermal Sunder on his 1 so it doesn't have a cooldown.

The mobile defense for the Zariman Missions spawns more Thrax units than exterminate in my experience. May be worth testing.

worth noting that for eidolons, by the time you reach 6x speeds you shod have your focus mostly maxed
And to reach that you need quite a bit of unlocked operator stuff already. Anyhow, some Eidolon stuff is necessary for unlocking the waybounds.
Just as an aside, either version of the new Circuit gamemode is top tier focus farming

Duviri gave me my best Focus Farm with the Orowyrm Boss. Provided I can get either Greedy Heal or Nourishing Terror, or have a Warframe that can heal itself, I leave the last Wyrmling alive which will stop the boss fight from progressing but still allowing it to continue spawning enemies, including 3 Thrax Centurions in a very short amount of time. I can consistently gain my max 405k Focus in under 45 min (without a booster) if all of these conditions are met. Having Gloom in the Helminth makes it MUCH easier to accomplish this
For me the best thing is going to sanctuary, man I stay a few minutes and I get at least 10 thousand points in each wave, this is very easy for those who are at the beginning of the game and who have a warframe with continuous area damage

Both are bang-for-the bunk models and you did stress "with the right team" (or did you say squad, w'eve). You have in numerous hours on individual builds and weapons, can you optimize a squad for us?

In fact, there is a significant refinement of the completion of ADARO. Wisp with a Trap with almost any glaive allows you to get ~ 120k using Lua lenses in one run in 3 minutes. What it's about: Wisp's passive ability grants invisibility while flying, which can be improved with a mod that gives -100% gravity while in controlled flight. Further, the Trap pulls and disables AI mobs in a large radius, undermining the glaive deals lethal damage in a large radius through textures. The only problem is the new eximuses, they are destroyed first of all, since the control abilities work on them, but they still do not detect invisible units

Lua Conjunction Survivals also have a fair amount of thrax enemies every 5 minutes, after about a half hour I typically have about 60k focus. I guess thats worth noting too, esp if youre after Voruna or Yontas other Lua Thrax rewards

Wisp does not break invisibility when using exodia contagion. It's triggers stealth kills modifier on killing unaware enemies.

45% extra affinity on melee is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to the stealth farm.

There is a faster way to go with the Adaro stealth affinity bonus. Was my go to when I still needed to farm focus and still is my go to for leveling frames. Took me around 6 - 10 minutes to max out my focus each day. I used Banshee with the augment savage silence with around 235 - 260 range , you have to adjust this with your speed and what you feel comfortable with, and as much duration as possible and as much duration as possible. Weapon I use is a Kuva Bramma build for raw DPS and I have eidelon lenses on both frame and weapon. a run takes less than 1 min and with the focus orb spawn you get insane focus each run. Reason for stealth bonus is mini stun from savage silence, that makes it possible to get the stealth kill bonus.

Most effective method to earn focus would probably be eido hunts cuz they not only give focus but as well as arcanes that sell for good plat but it requires some setup, also only earning focus with daily limit cap even you are a high MR player takes way too long about.

I run Loki with Banshee's savage silence and used to cap my focus out in about 30 minutes after all the stealth nerfs. I used polearms but using kuva bramma is supposed to be faster, but I'd already used my lenses. Anyway, that is with an affinity booster so one should realistically be able to hit focus cap without a booster in about an hour once they dial in the runs.
P.S. Forgot to mention that I was running with greater lenses.
I like to put each lua lens on a glaive amp and smash out a few runs on sanctuary. There are quicker ways but if u just want all focus for one tree it's effective without having to put lens' on everything.
I would advise using xaku for focus farm. By just playing with him you will max out your focus per day very easily.

I've been really hyped to start solo eidolon hunting even not being as efficient as with a squad i still find the challenge interesting, any tips or builds or AMPs?
I finished my Volt, and got my Rubico Prime with Riven but idk which Way-bounds should i aim for or which one is the best AMP atm
Personally, for my beginning eidolon hunts, I started by focusing on the madurai focus school and built my amp based on Ken's old amp guide. I use a duration build on volt with a bit of efficiency so that I can use his shield to increase damage for both the amp and Rubico. Waybounds haven't really been my focus but I can solo a gantualyst with a little difficulty. I recommend remembering where the lures spawn so that you can get them faster and start your hunt sooner. Don't know if I missed anything but I hope this helps a bit.

Ok, nevermind then. I only built a 1-1-1 so far just to get rid of the mote amp, and with angels of zariman came the Sirocco which i use atm.

I usually run solo Steel Path Adaro, usually cap out in two runs with affinity booster. Since I'm mostly a lone wolf in Warframe that works best for me.
I just use Equinix with Banshee silence subsumed. Really powerful for affinity farming
Recently I've seen someone using Savage silence on any frame while nuking the extermination in Saturn with a maxed silenced Kiva grammar, seems to work really well if you work fast

The trouble with the eidolon hunt is that some people have a life. That 15 min every 1h30 is a pain in the ass. Really wish they'd give some toughts about casual players for those.

Welp, TheKengineer, once you get to duviri, all this is out the window, 2.5k per thrax for a bunch of thrax is around 1mil focus an hour...
I just use mirage prime and maxed lenses on all my loot, go through my standing cap in like 4 runs of ESO.
You seem to have forgotten (or neglected) to mention sortie eximus missions. They are not reliable, of course, but some mission tipes can yield 300 000 focus per 10 minutes with relative ease (with 2 lua lenses ofc).

I cap my Focus with Ash on Rest n Rage and a dagger, both with Lua Lens. 2 runs, 20 mins, with booster. Idk how some do it in ESO tho.
Probably someone talk about it. There is another way to farm solo -> seel path Terrorem (Deimos) with Khora Kitty and buster i was hiting ~ 25k-50k per orb netting ~ 400k < 1h (Discovered while i needed to farm Mutagen Samples ;/)

@@-Scrye this isn't a lie tho. With a nuke mirage Explosive Legerdemain and just a rhino as a support using roar (both of us running Corrosive Projection) we could make it to 100k as soon as round 3, however this is extremely map dependant and only a couple maps can go that high that fast. The average is between 40-60k per room.
However, ever since we added a Volt to our set up, things have been a lot better and the 100k room, while still quite rare, is a lot more frequent and gets a lot higher too, now our average is 50k - 70k but on the good maps we made it as far 182k (that was round 4 by the way, and no, my Kavat did not proc).
And if you're wondering which are the most insanely bonker map, those are both infested ship, one corpus, one grineer, and both of the map are quite simitrical on their design and allow you to spawn a kill a ton of ennemies when standing in the middle. Since I'm using Mirage, I only have 1 Lua lenz and it's on my Mirage.
Anyway my point is, getting a coordinated squad for ESO make it so you're usually done by the time you make it to the end of round 8 most of the time. If they tileset of the week are a pile of crpa there ain't much more you can do about that tho, but there is usually 1 or 2 maps that will give you that stupid 100k spike and make it worth it, you just have to pray that it isn' t the first one since that one won't give you the focus orb on start.
It will still take literally months to complete anything more than a couple focus schools. Wish de had just cut the numbers on the focus required for each node by a whole order of magnitude.
Tbh I've been using mirage with a certain build that' uses madurai as the school and a cernos ( hentai heaven variant) that is purely for the fire rate that spread corrosive to make then easier to kill
Adaro stealth run with booster gives 300k in 6 minutes. Nothing can beat that even remotely.
well for the ESO methot, the fokus increases hevy each wave u are in, i hit 23 with a pre squat and got fokus cap from just 1 normel lense on my frame. cant recomend cause hitting realy high waves depends on rotation of ESO.
Please 🙏 give us a new Eidolon farming guide. What's the new meta? Is Unairu wisp dead? This new focus system is causing chaos in public matches, and it seems like every dedicated party is doing things differently now. I would try to solo, but only one or 2 voms spawn at a time making it into a scavenger hunt to change the first lure. I can find a new guide anywhere.

I hate farming focus so much. I'm MR 25 and it still takes 2 days to put one rank in one focus skill. At least doing it through cascades also earns towards the zariman arcanes and weapons.

want a decent amp for Eidolon hunts? use the free Sil... erm.. the um.. whatever it's called the... Silicon Amp you get for free from the New War quest. that Amp is immensely better than the normal Mote amp. and with the bonus being you are NOT forced to get Eidolon shards in order to craft the better amps in order to get this amp.
once you have this amp after beating New War. then you can do Eidolon hunts and actually do decent damage to it's purple shield :)

No, Exalted weapons cannot have Focus lens installed on them. They look at the Warframe's lens to see where to assign focus.
Hot take: Focus Pool and Focus Lenses should be Universal, not Per-School. Why should we be meticulous with our Focus Lenses like we are with Forma? I just wanna level my trees, dadgummit.
