I think unairu is actually pretty good as the ability to self res is really useful, the no nockdown for swapping in and out seems jank but if you max it you get like 50 seconds of knockback resist. The armor strip is useful if you dont have armor strip weapons.
In my opinion, Naramon for combo focused builds or heavy attack builds with Corrupt Charge. Unairu for better all-round defense, you get a lot more armour and you can literally never die with Last Gasp and Vengeance. Make sure to unbind those. Zenurik for energy. Can’t go wrong with energy unless you’re running Nourish. I haven’t used Vazarin yet. Madurai for killing things as operator. Works well with Last Gasp and Vengeance unbound.
Just two things I’d add. The thrax units on Zariman give a lot of focus. You can get a lot while picking up arcanes in void cascade. I definitely think you’re underrating Unairu. It gives a one cast full strip without having to use your subsume. It’s another option. At high levels, look at your load out as a whole. There are lots of combinations to have everything you need, you shouldn’t just write one off.
It wasn't until I hit the Duviri Circuit that I had Any kind of success gaining focus points. It's definitely accessible much, much earlier on than any of the other approaches.
Appreciate you bro it’s nice to have good videos still being put out recently!! Always great information I’ve just started playing about 6 weeks ago and it’s a lot to take in all at once!!
Actually I disagree with you on Unairu and Madurai. Unairu is _way_ better for general combat than Madurai. Stripping shields and armor is far better than the damage boost from Madurai, particularly at Steel Path levels. Madurai is still better for Eidolons and Void Angels, but even at base SP levels Madurai doesn’t always offer enough damage to kill enemies quickly for a Last Stand revive. Unairu, on the other hand, is far more consistent.
Not gonna lie, the only thing I could focus on at the end of The Second Dream were Lotus'... ummm... words of wisdom, oh, yes, profound words of wisdom popping out of the screen at me, lol... Awooga!
15:00 btw running void cascade is way faster than circuit if you have the zariman unlocked since u get a thrax every cascade +they spawn the corrupt the cascades back
What a happy coincidence that you released this video the very day I finished the Second Dream quest. I had absolutely no idea which school to choose, so I chose Naramon, which is not bad, given that I rather like the melee in Warframe.
Oh...the best lenses are grind locked on rotation C of a game mode I despise. Make sense. Guess I'll just continue using my puny boring bounty lenses. I should max at least one focus school before I die of old age.
I'm several million points into the focus game and was unaware that Lua lenses even existed until I noticed someone selling one in the bazaar two days ago.
No unairu slander is allowed Unairu is the third school I've maxed out and oh god. Knockdown resistance, armor stripping (which with Unairu Wisp made void angels, thraxes and acolytes toddlers in steal path) and shield stripping (if you're lazy to switch between elements). Even revive you warframe? Bro, you can do this by tapping 2 in a crowd and spamming your amp (it's hard to not have good one). And armor like a cherry on top Unairu my most used school and it's really help me a lot
Unairu's strength is in the wider variety of utility it provides while still boosting operator damage just enough to keep it viable. The utilities Unairu provides don't need to come from other parts of your build which frees some stuff up. It also makes your build more "comfy" in that you don't need to piss around so much with subsuming armour strip onto your frames or min-maxing what elements you're using on your weapons before each mission. All Madurai provides is it's damage buff via Void Strike. While it's a very potent damage buff for sure, it also drains literally all of your Operator's energy to activate it. This means it's not really suited for any extended Operator play. It basically enforces a "swap in, Void Strike, swap out" play style. Unairu also shows its strength quite well in Steel Path Circuit. It doesn't matter what frames or weapons I get given because I will _always_ have my Operator with me in there no matter what, and Unairu means my Operator can basically carry SPC all by itself. It has its own armour strip, it's own shield removal, it's own damage buff, and some extra survivability.

Emphasis for that point on shards: they can be converted for any mix of unlocked schools which is really helpful for advancing multiple trees concurrently.
Successful culls will give you shards worth 177,500 points (plus starter arcanes that you'll outgrow almost immediately). A good squad can do 2 and sometimes 3 culls per night period and lately I've been completing 4 culls a day so that's 710k points right there.

What is this Unairu slander? Poise gives knockdown immunity for 40 seconds by just transferring in and out once every 40 seconds. That's a lot better than playing for over a year just to get Pimed Sure Footed
I also use Unairu when I don't need the operator dmg from madurai or the energy regen from zenurik. The knockup immunity plus the full resistance strip is nice to have when you are using a frame without neither
Just jumped back on warframe after quite some time and I ended up choosing madurai (before I went on the hiatus) so I’m hoping this time around to actually learn it properly lol
nuke frames are not the only frames that can focus farm. ivara with a karyst or other dagger and covert lethality can farm massive amounts of focus in a short time. i was getting around 17k (not including the 5k you get for picking it up) per focus pickup while on the zariman and in high level spy missions. the lens goes on the dagger. the 500% stealth kill affinity boost works with focus gains so you can stealth kill up to 500% then grab a pickup and just start swinging if you can one shot them or stealth killing in rapid succession otherwise.
It's hard for me to gauge how efficient this method is, but I'd like to throw what i did for focus lens based farming. Put the lens on your Amp and run the Spy mission on Neptune in just your operator form. if you get the focus boost right before you attempt a data vault, even better. accessing the vault undetected nets a ton of XP, which when in your operator form, dumped it all into the Amp. it helped me clear that hurdle of getting that first 50k you need to open up the other schools so i could dump eidolon shards into them (also to max out the Amps super quick to put the lenses on them in the first place) Also to note, slapping lenses of other schools onto your swords while running Naramon with that 45% affinity boost is great
Update: I haven't worked up the points to unlock another focus but I ended up using the dethcube method to get enough energy to actually have fun LOL. Thought it might be useful advice to anyone who's also feeling energy starved. It's probably not suitable for stealth but for the 90% of missions, it'll do.
Thank you for this guide. I wasn't even aware that Lua lens + a fast killing warframe would max out daily focus in just a few rotations of ESO. I'm MR 30, so that's 400k affinity. Edit: i'm glad i found your channel recently, it's very helpful even for a long long time player.
You only need 50,000 focus points to unlock a new school. Slap a lens for the school you want to unlock on an item you use a lot and you should be able to get it pretty quickly.
I mean to Full strip bosses and the steel Path guys violence, malic and all those other guys but weapons also do that job but the strip makes it super easy
I think you dismissed unairu too easily, the convince of having armor strip on operator means, you don't have to put it on your Warframe, meaning you can use a different helminth ability like nourish, roar, eclipse, etc.
Dude you are a live saver, I just came back to the game and I left at the war within and I was so lost why after weeks playing I wasn't getting any focus at all thanks to your recommendations I got already 500k focus on a day. I had lenses seating on my inventory, I thought they where cosmetics😂

I want my Warframe to be strong and Limbo really wasn’t for a long time. But with all the stuff like archon shards and the Unairu school…Limbo didn’t have to be so weak anymore. Now my limbo is powerful by himself. I know it’s a niche play style but it’s been playing for the last 11 years. Not about to change.
@@MHBlacky_ENG pressing 5 twice is to hard for you sweetheart? Maybe you should unlock every node on every focus school, try them all in SP, remove your biased opinion and remake this video, because it is full of disinformation. But that wouldnt be a problem. You had 3 mouths after all, you probably have all of them by now due to how easy it is to get from circuit.
The big thing about Unairu that youre missing is that its abilities are great for reviving yourself with last stand. 100% armour strip and shield midication in an aoe? Get an amp that can kill a large mob and you'll never fear death again
This helped me understand much towards in upgrading my Operator to the fullest. Is been something that i been struggling the most as i didnt know how to begin. My first school is Naramon. Do have enough lens for the others but im hoping to get the high tier ones. Despite that, the video really help much in explaining and the options i can go for in what im making. Obviously is tedious but i can see that is worth it due to the benefits that can be for either the Operator or Warframe or simply both.
I love how I just find about this in this video. I completed the missions, chose the school, no further information about this from the questline. Accidentally fat fingered 5 on my keyboard and wow, what the hell is going on? Personally, I would have no problems with not having this ability, as long as that squeaky little operator doesn't add stupid comments to each event that happens in the game.
So Unairu Focus look weird. But many document I searched when newbie always say this class make sense with solo styles . Wuss Change to Zenurik is good choice for me to keep the way with Warframe
Did they change how this works? I remember it used to work like this. You pick up an orb, kill some enemies and get about 1000 points. But now you get 5000 on pick up and loads more the killed enemies
Yes it seems more easier to get points now compared to last time. Im a returning player from 4years ago and got shocked with how easy it is to get points now 😂
@@MHBlacky_ENG I don't think it was a multiplier on kill... but rather a 10x boost to what the lens was capable of. Edit: I use to run Naramon and slap a lens of choice on the weapon since I figured that 45% affinity boost would just make things faster.
Best method, IMO, is combine Lens method with Duviri, since the focus orbs still pop in the Circuit. The orbs also increase *all* focus gained for 45 seconds. You can easily ca out your daily earning within an hour or two with a full squad and a full set of lenses (since shared Affinity also counts). Also, be sure to get an Affinity Blessing to increase the gains from the lenses! Since it's a percentage of Affinity gained, Affinity Boosters and Blessings also increase the rate you earn focus.
He never fails to produce great guides.I have just unlocked the focus schools and would like to add that if another player in your squad kills a thrax enemy you still get the points. If you are really good and in a decent squad you can expect 7500 points a minute.
Eidolons are probably best way to level focus if you're advanced enough, but other way is nuking in eso or getting it passively during circuit by killing those dax enemies
For a long time, I was confused about whether I always got focus points from all affinity gain, or just when a convergence orb was active. I feel the video really should have covered the convergence orb mechanic.
If you did duviri, on the right top part of the screen you will have that 2 hand simbol (like a hand reaching to help another hand), click that and you will switch to your drifter, click it again, and you will switch back to your tenno
Madurai Sling Strength is a must if you are leveling Madurai. It is a lot of free ability strength just for two consecutive slings. Fixes a lot of warframe builds.
Anybody that actually used to play with a Zenurik operator knows the focus rework absolutly destroyed Zenuriks offensive capabilities...I used to use my Zenurik operator with lockdown & a phahd amp for everything outside of SP but the rework took away lightening dash & the viod mode that shocked them with electric & pulled them inwards like Khoras ensnare. Thats before we start with heavy efficiency being removed from it aswell but then it seems that everybody else was fine with it because it only really hurt a few of us. Barely played the game since im just not feeling the new direction.
Why do more people not have last gasp? It’s the first way-bound I unbound because it lets you kill with your operator to revive your downed Warframe without having to use a mission revive (assuming you’re playing alone) is it just not a priority to most other people or am I missing something? It just seemed like a great survivable enhancer
It sounds pretty good to me. But keep in mind enemies can get really tanky. If you aren’t just using Unairu for the free shield/armor strips, you might not have a good time. There’s a good chance your operator will just get bursted down, OR you just won’t do enough damage and die anyways
@@yamnbam4346with a decent amp and Madurai's void strike, last gasp and Vengeance will revive you no matter what enemie you have to kill 🤣🤣🤣 in higher missions I only go for exinus units, or for thrax enemies, since you need just one of them to insta revive you!
@@yamnbam4346 I can tell you the same story as the one above, Last gasp is insanely OP, in most missions I am basically immortal, my amp kills anything, I always run madurai because I can kill anything AND revive myself even in very high level when I use the madurai spells + my amp during last gasp, really it's... I'd say an hidden OP thing but as everything in warframe, every strenght like that multiplies and you become kind of a god in the end, I like that. :D
*Emergence Dissipate* ? Yeah I don't know... I remember back when people used to say it was better than Energize... But I honestly Didn't See it and It was Nerfed into the Dirt Right after That.
Not sure why you don't talk about the mechanics of the yellow focus orb things you get in maps that then seem to boost your focus gain for the next 30 or 40 seconds? I'm honestly still not sure exactly how it works, just know that you get more focus while those are active.
The shield and armour breaking in the unairu school is great for when you are doing sisters of parvos, especially the hounds. A ton of shield and armour.
LOL uniaru still getting misunderstood. I mean I don't do endurance runs but I can clear missions with my tank/dps uniaru drifter build. Yes I kill SP enemies and enemies inside of netracell missions. 😢
Another option is just unlocked all of them to get their two abilities and call it a day cuz if you don't play as the operator like me it took me like six or seven days by playing 2 to 3 defense missions with level 40 enemies to max out my daily allowed amount of focus of 310k a day

Point is my frame of choice isn’t weak.
Circular on lua gives you 20000 focus for your active focus school every 5 minutes
Ngl i did not expect the unairu diss. Imo one of the better schools. Like maduri but useable in normal missions
It alleviates the pressure of having to run other armor strips and the waybound is probably the best of the lot tbh
Naramon has a damage buff that stacks with every other damage buff in the game multiplicatively and you didn't even spec into it
Should I pick naramon if I only wanna focus on damage then?
@@chillout2407_If you like melee. Then yap.
subsuming silence into some warframes is so good to farm focus
Idk about this so i just picked randomly and now i regret my decision
good thing about unairu is the last grasp, basically unkillable if u keep killing 3 peeps/ 1 eximus when ur warframe die
Yeah that's true. There are pros and cons to all schools 😉
Plus, what wasn't mentioned is the armor strip is god tier combined with last stand, as it makes it so late level mobs die in one headshot to operator
I have been using vazarin for so long now i cant use any other, the healing, shield and invincibility abilities are extreamly useful
Yeah, especially in late game, Vazarin is extremely powerful ^^
I love how I just find about this in this video. I completed the missions, chose the school, no further information about this from the questline. Accidentally fat fingered 5 on my keyboard and wow, what the hell is going on? Personally, I would have no problems with not having this ability, as long as that squeaky little operator doesn't add stupid comments to each event that happens in the game.
already finish all nodes of school zenurik! for me is the best for my way to play ! maybe try the other ! thnks for the video!! ♥
Thank you for the lovely feedback ❤️ I wish you much fun with Zenurik 😉
So Unairu Focus look weird. But many document I searched when newbie always say this class make sense with solo styles . Wuss Change to Zenurik is good choice for me to keep the way with Warframe
Did they change how this works? I remember it used to work like this. You pick up an orb, kill some enemies and get about 1000 points. But now you get 5000 on pick up and loads more the killed enemies
I think I remember that they added the 5000 on pick up but I don't know about any boost that they gave for killing enemies
Im going crazy at this video quality 😩
Yesss new Blacky vid.
There was not a single tooltip about this in game, if I didn't ask my friend out of curiosity I would be completely cooked in the difficult quests 😵💫
how the hell did your tenno grow up? i finished the duvari thingy but mine is still a teenage asshole
Do the New War quest
If you did duviri, on the right top part of the screen you will have that 2 hand simbol (like a hand reaching to help another hand), click that and you will switch to your drifter, click it again, and you will switch back to your tenno
Everyone complains about clans an idea could be a clan/dojo guide and thanks for making my warframe playthrough easier
Just join a finished clan and never leave ez
I understand that the eximus rework drove me insane so many cc frames just ruined
Understandable
speaking of focus i do hope we get a new focus school for drifter so we have something to do will all the focus that cant be used for anything
I think before that they'll probably add a 3rd and 4th active skill for each tree 😉
@@MHBlacky_ENGI hope and PRAY they give us back Void Aegis for Vazarin as either the 3rd or 4th ability/skill. I loved that shield dome/sphere.
Thank you
I chose Unairu cause it sounded like a survival based focus
Survival meaning I live longer 😆😅
After The Sacrifice quest this video should come handy next time I play
Sooo, I chose the worst school to my playstyle. Nice
@@ironmendez5136 also good with lethal levitation from Naramon and eternal onslaught arcane.
bro’s operator is the average scandinavian man
Woodcutter style :P
very informative. thanks
First time I was introdced to focus I had no clue to use it
They really need to make arcane energize more accessible. Until you get r4-5 you are glued to zenurik.
Depends, there is a new Arcane that was recently introduced which can also regen energy but I forgot the name...
*Emergence Dissipate* ?
Yeah I don't know...
I remember back when people used to say it was better than Energize... But I honestly Didn't See it and It was Nerfed into the Dirt Right after That.
Gara is also pretty good for nuke, ult + hold first hability front outside the glass
Not sure why you don't talk about the mechanics of the yellow focus orb things you get in maps that then seem to boost your focus gain for the next 30 or 40 seconds? I'm honestly still not sure exactly how it works, just know that you get more focus while those are active.
1:49 I didn't know that Logan Paul was an operator!😅😂
could you please make a video on open worlds and bounties? They're very crucial to the game but also confusing..
I am MR 29 and still just ignore this whole system lol. Zenurik energy is all I actually use but I have everything maxed.
If you have everything maxed, then you did not ignore this whole thing
The longer you look at excaliburs hand in the thumbnail the more cursed it looks
Can't say anything against that xD
This is my favourite UA-camr
Damn you got bad taste
@@Demourdon't be that guy...
after putting a lens on a weapon or frame when I take it out or change it with another one will it be broken?
yes
And of course I chose Unairu coz the lore card sounded cool...
I don't even need this information personally but good content as always
Aaaaw thank you for the compliment, Bro ❤️ Glad you enjoyed it ^^
Good information
Thx _😁_
The shield and armour breaking in the unairu school is great for when you are doing sisters of parvos, especially the hounds. A ton of shield and armour.
Yeah I see that :D
For these Fights I wouldn't wanna bring Nekros either xD
LOL uniaru still getting misunderstood. I mean I don't do endurance runs but I can clear missions with my tank/dps uniaru drifter build. Yes I kill SP enemies and enemies inside of netracell missions. 😢
Farming the initial 50,000 focus to unlock the other school fucking sucks. I mean it’s painfully slow.
and not being havle to use eidolons is sad :'
I'm a Naramon by heart but practically should've chosen Zenurik first. 😂
Just to be clear, you can eventually unbind ALL way bounds and have that whole list as permanent passive upgrades?
Yep ;)
Another option is just unlocked all of them to get their two abilities and call it a day cuz if you don't play as the operator like me it took me like six or seven days by playing 2 to 3 defense missions with level 40 enemies to max out my daily allowed amount of focus of 310k a day
I recently gained access to the focus system, joined the Zenurik school!
The best one imho, good choice!
Nice :D
I just realized that your operator Is the warframe version of you in real life, nice fashion, I'm bad at doing faces 1-1
Haha yeah :D I like to put myself into games ^^ Believe me, I was so happy when they finally added beards for the Drifters xD
