    I can totally imagine it as a legit attraction in Disneyland-like park, fair or mall, or whatever. Just imagine this thing surrounded by a bunch of soft-covered blocks and obstacles, go-through loops and such, so that you or your kid can jump around and feel like a superhero.

    I love that just the installation of the lights on this thing would be something most channels would milk for 5 episodes worth of content. Not here. Alright guys i filed my patent.

    • @Stowneyo
      @Stowneyo Рік тому +19

      @1nvisible1 turns out it's easier to just bring a couple ladders instead of a massive counterbalanced human crane that lifts one person at a time. It also has to be transported and installed on the job site. and needs it entire radius of space free of obstrucion to function...to what get a single guy on a roof sort of quicker? You can also only work on spaces immediately on the circumference of the machine. He doesn't have full movement of the area. He can essentially only go in a circle so unless a roofer is working on some sort of tube that for some reason matches the exact dimension off this thing you'd get essentially nothing done
      Your idea would be a complete failure of concept and it wouldn't do anything faster. It would take longer need to be incredibly precise to the crane and be a financial loss
      The only reason he was able to make contact with the pallets and board was because they put them exactly where they needed to be and the end of the armatures reach.
      You will not find that on a job site you need to be able to move forward and backwards way more easily instead of being locked to a circle ⭕
      Fun on the job site sure....in any manner practical no. I suppose you could use it like a quick elevator to get to the top of a roof and unharness. When you get there. But.... I'm still thinking a ladder is way more practical

    Imagine mowing your lawn outside and seeing your neighbor being attached to a giant contraption in the air.

    You should definitely invite a gymnast/stuntman to have a play on this!

    I’m surprised that this does not exist commercially. It’s very much an attraction along the lines of things like indoor skydiving that I could imagine appearing at fairs and entertainment centers

      Was thinking of this in the first video moment i saw it, well as wondered such device, but Colins solution is just superb. Too bad its pretty damn expensive to make and even more problematic to transport, since you need JBL to assemble it, witch needs least a truck to move it, making it pretty expensive to operate on places that chance from one to another.

    I truly think that people would pay to use this as a ride or something, can’t wait to see it

    What’s incredible is that you designed and built this by yourself! I guess all that plumbing work paid off finally.

    man id love to see a whole circular platforming level made around it like a super mario level where you have to hit certain buttons to open up paths to the next section. Building it around a half dome would be a blast. that would probably be a good fairground or escape room type attraction.

    Your bullet jump arm extension needs a counterweight to offset the weight of the arm itself. Just take it off. Weigh it and the lenght it extends to, calculate the force with the lenght of the lever it puts out, then add a big knob with the same force (bigger weight shorter lever) on the other side of that arm bit, and you should have a much easier time balancing and don't land flat on your belly.
    A cool way to be able to control yourself better would be if you have 4 gyroscopes added to your under arms and legs, maybe like motorized sleeves you can turn on and off. That could give you insane control like how am ice skater controls the rpm of a spin, but in 3 dimensions based on your limbs in relation to 3D space and how you position and bend your arms and legs.
