i have been on the social housing list in galway for 12 and a half years and have never received a offer of housing i have two teenage children and had to move in with my parents i have been sharing a room with my teenage daughter that is only 7ft in width 12ft in length room so we can only have bunk beds for a year now can not find a rented property with in my price range i have contact the council numerous times in regards to my situation and have had no help because i am living with my parents they still consider me house we are overcrowded and this is not a suitable situation for my family we are in hidden homelessness i have tried everything i can and i have reach out to so many housing social worker, simon community , tds but still nothing
Homeless will never go away for the goverment until we start looking after the people we have now then we can look after others Santa's helper will be here 2022 to help you
The only chance we the Ghost Homeless have is by refusing to be afraid to mention the Irish Homeless and continuing to shout out for ourselves regardless of what we are called for shouting out about it until someone somewhere hears us

@Irish Bullion I wish I could just stay in hostels and save but unfortunately I did an newspaper article a few years ago and part of it I said it's the people who live in hostels fault it's so violent and horrible and that made me a target so with the advice of Police the won't house me because of the risk
