- There is a housing crisis in Ireland and several other major cities across Europe. After coming across several amazing homeless people on the streets of Dublin in my private encounters, I decided to make a video highlighting this problem.
Thanks to Tiglin, Aubrey McCarthy and Jay Bobinac for the collaboration and making this a possibility by opening the doors of Tiglin and showing me how they care and transform the lives of the people living on the streets.

Are you homeless,I was,I got all the food and clothes I wanted, staying in hostels got work, BECAUSE I wanted to work,get off your bleedin soapbox,plus I was a brass monkey and still got work and sorted myself out,loads out on streets don't give a bollix only happy fukn up everyone else and ruining hostels for decent genuine people,also I worked all over Europe and never got crap like people do who go to work and better their lives and their families lives,,most anti everybody brigade here aren't working so no one is taking your Jobs 😜 now il get off my soapbox but I know what I,m talking about at least 👍

We seem to stagger from one crisis to another. The government (no matter who's in power) are totally responsible. They are the only people with the power to make the necessary changes butthey do nothing. There's no forward planning. If problem is recognised it is usually allowed to fester until its too late. From an external point of view the statistics on Ireland look great, but once the tide goes out you realise most people have no clothes.
It really should be easy, the country has a small population for a country, the world is littered with cities with bigger populations. I fear this situation is going to carry, the nation staggering from one crisis to another. The next crisis I see is a mass exodus of people which could result is a mass exodus of foreign industry!

great video, very well done, Ireland is supposedly the richest country in the world and can have almost a magical perception as a small quaint european country form the outside, but you come here and dig one or 2 layers under the surface and you find ugliness everywhere, its a 2 worlds kind of country once you need a place to stay on a budget, or fall between the cracks for some reason or god forbid youre a foreigner who finds himself in a bit of a bind, you enter world 2, the smiles and craic dissapear and you start to see who people really are on the inside and what this country is about

Is that 12,000 on the streets or in state accomodation? I live abroad and not clued in.
To date over 14k Irish in emergency accommodation,women,men approximately 4.5k are children. That's not including homeless on the streets.
No chance of ever being housed anytime soon.
Migrants being given everything free.
Modular units,hotels etc.
F#ck all for the Irish.

But isn't the housing problen just in Dublin, why do everyone want to live in Dublin, it is not really a big city, why don't peope look outside Dublin for housing.
