Unless she took transit like a normal person. Metro 43 to Sbux Roastery and Ghost Note, 101/150 to Slate, D Line to La Marzocco, or just walk to the Moore.
I appreciate tf out of your editing style because I know it takes forever and it’s so aesthetically pleasing and flowy. Always great content from you, hope you’re doing well Monica!!!!
I just saw my ex bf for a split second in the background of one of the shots 😂 that coffee shop is across the street from his apartment and he always works in the same spot. Triggeredddd lmao
Wait wait wait. As a Seattle native, I gotta be honest, I know ya can't try "every" coffee shop in Seattle, but I felt like some key ones were missed. Well edited video in general, but there are a few iconic coffee chains such as Elm, Zoka, Ladro, Monorail, and Seattle Coffee Works that shaped the coffee landscape in Seattle just as much as Starbucks has. Thought I'd mention that--we indeed have a lot of pride in our coffee here!
Great video Monica! I'm in Seattle too and am glad you hit up Slate, but I agree with Bryen about adding Elm and Seattle Coffee Works to the list (these are my two Seattle faves!). Maybe do round two for nitro cold brews!
“Trying every coffee shop in Seattle” Goes to 8 shops. Girl, that’s fewer than I hit in a week. There’s over 800 coffee shops in Seattle. You better get sippin
@@helenguo5598 I'd also really recommend Realfine (great music + reasonable prices), Kaladi (delicious pastries + comfy armchairs), Tougo (cozy vibe + great chai), and Analog (all records and cassettes + great specials).
It's gimmicky but it's mainly for you to taste the elements separately so you can identify the tasting notes in the coffee the sweetness and quality of the milk and the finished product how it tastes all mixed together.
Check out Caffe Vita, Victrola Coffee Rosters, Top Pot (the location on 2124 5th ave downtown is a roastery), Stumptown Coffee (my favorite), Elm Rosters, Pegasus Coffee, and Bauhaus Books & Coffee
I’ve lived in Seattle for 11 years, drink coffee everyday, and would consider myself knowledgeable on shops. A couple of these locations I’ve never even heard of lol! Love this! Definitely going to check those two shops out I’ve never been to. Ive been to ghost note so many times and never knew they specialize in cocktail style drinks. I get iced espresso every time so I never look at the menu
I can't believe she didn't mention Vivace! It was one of the first craft coffee places in Seattle, and they singlehandedly re-invented latte art in the states! (It existed in Italy before, but no one in the states had figured out how replicate it until Vivace.) The owner was one of the original coffee pioneers and so many modern coffee practices are because of his work. I know a lot of people consider Vivace out-of-touch now because it hasn't been keeping up with modern coffee trends, but you can't deny that it's an essential part of coffee history.
I think it would be so cool to see a video from you where you live a few days as a tourist, stay in a Airbnb, go to the touristy spots, and food places. Kinda like a whole guide to visiting Seattle!
I love everything you put out! Your editing style is lovely and I’m obsessed with it! I really want to visit Seattle! You inspire me to make UA-cam videos! Love ya girl! ❤️❤️💁🏼♀️
I wish you made this before I went to Seattle in August! I'm a huge coffee person. I did hit up the roastery, slate coffee roasters (for the deconstructed latte) and la Marzocco!
Loved in Seattle since 2008 and some of these were definitely new to me - and these days, it’s nice to see and remember what Seattle looked like three years ago… Thanks Monica!
I made it all the way to the end! LOL. I live out in Yelm and made it into the city just yesterday for a trip to the ER. What fun! Anyway... I love Seattle. I love coffee. This was entertaining. You got a new sub and a thumbs up from me. Keep it up!

@@abrielle13 Its fine if you have decent work there. Its a quieter, slower, inland city. @@abrielle13 It kind of depends on the area. If you're concerned primarily about safety, try to get a place on the South Hill- it's more suburban and has a lot less crime, and the schools are good. After travelling to Seattle for the first time in my life despite being 23 years old and living directly north of it just over the Border my whole life, and it reminded me of like Vancouver's bigger older sister. And Victoria's big old great Aunt Helen. But I've been watching your videos and Vlogs for years now and I got really excited when you started to film the gym in Vancouver but I just can't stress enough how much I think that you would really enjoy being a tourist in Vancouver or Victoria and it's really easy to get to both of those places is from Seattle as long as you have a valid passport I really think that you would like it !!!

Oh gosh all that coffee in one day XD I love your videos! I grew up in the Seattle suburbs and moved away right after high school so it's like I never truly got to explore the city like a real local. Your videos make me excited to move back home and discover everything new again!

She may have spent a lot on coffee that day, but as all Seattlites know, it pales in comparison to how much she spent on parking
That's only if she doesn't know where the free parking is. . .

Stumptown on 12th.
