- My shorty is very observant but her curiosity tends to steer her into talking rather reckless! So to avoid further complications in her adolescence and eventual adulthood I teach her to not allow her mouth to write a check that her physical stature isn’t able to cash because in the real world nobody loves us. Your parents and household family members love you but outside of that door it’s very cold and short. Have to be selective with your choice of words and treat ever person with respect and enough caution as if they could be deemed a threat!

My Dad was a big guy like this. He looked mean too and most people most people people feared him. But, he was such a sweet teddy bear with us kids. I miss him everyday.
