my daughter is about to be 2 years old and it breaks my heart when i have to go to work because she doesnt want me to leave . id never thought that there would be times when i get to the car and get teary eyed, and feel like calling in sick for work just to spend time with her. as of right now shes trying to talk but i imagine when shes talking already she really is going to break my heart. 😢😭

I know it was 2 years ago, but, as a daughter who loves her dad: Nothing beats daddies' girls. Some - or most girls - have their dads wrapped around their little fingers. i sure did. He spoiled me (bought me goodies, showered me with hugs and kisses and we'd bond with watching wrestling on TV . Oh, I used to cry for him when he had to go to work and left me with one of my mom's aunts and her husband(I was afraid of him), or my maternal grandma. When I started school in Pre-K, I remember during naptime, I faked a stomachache so that my dad would pick me up and take me home - just so I could be with him; I saw another kid do it, and his dad picked him up(for me, it worked!). He'd pick me up from my elementary school most, if not often-times. However, he knew when to act like a dad(he disciplined me if I ever stepped out of line) and as a former military man, I looked up to him because of it - when I was old enough to know what his job was, and what it meant for him. Although he and my mom had been divorced for 20 years, and I missed him and cried for him alot, for nearly 2 years after dad left, he was in my life every other weekend and holiday. Despite his flaws and the mistakes he's made, I still love my dad. I'm sure you're a good dad - if not a GREAT dad - to your little girl. And, I'm sure you're teaching her values and at least try to set a good example for her, and yep - I'm more than sure that you spoil your little girl alot.:)
