I found out a long time ago physically I couldn't have kids, I tried to adopt in its next to impossible I am from the state Delaware in the United States. Where cost $11000 just to get started to adopt a baby. So I went to my surrounding States Maryland New Jersey Virginia Pennsylvania. No one wanted to adopt a kid to a single father who only make so much money a year. But I still try for almost 3 years. My sister came along And said put my name down on the adoption papers and she is a very established woman. Who makes triple what I make and yearly basis. 2 weeks later I get a phone call from Maryland but meanwhile my sister sponsors and all girls softball team. There was a girl 19 that just found out that she was pregnant and asked my sister to borrow some money to have an abortion in my sister said no but I know someone who wants would adopt the baby. That situation happen on a specific Saturday I found out about my news the following Tuesday. So I called her excited saying that I have some great news and she says I have some great news to but I need you to come up Here. ( She is in northern Delaware I am in Southern Delaware but please keep in mind that Delaware is the 2nd smallest state in the United States) So I went up on Saturday and she said you go 1st I said we've been accepted by an adoption agency in Maryland, She said that's fantastic, But don't worry about them because I have the baby right here. I said what!! She showed me the young lady that was pregnant and she said all I want is my child to go to a good home. She was 3 months pregnant I stayed with her for the next 6 month, I pay for everything. During those 6 months I had already started the paperwork for the courts. Baby was born 3 months later we went to court just me and him and I was DENIED adoption. So a month later, I went back but this time I went with my mother my father and my sister and we stated that WE are adopting this baby. The courts approved finally. He just turned 6 years old. 🙏❤

Now he’s a Senior in high school this year as well as in college. Dual enrollment. I’m so happy he’s is off the chain good, but I’m so sad inside. I can’t hardly bare the thought that he’s pretty much grown. I close my eyes and see his little face. I remember every single milestone. LOVE LOVE LOVE..I appreciate these precious moments you share.
