Yeah, as a hockey card collector, MJ Holdings, has ripped off a lot of people, from those BCCG graded cards, to paying 50 bucks for $10 worth of packs and a bunch of base cards in their mystery cubes. They are shady AF.
We bought one in store before seeing this because my son got it excited about getting a graded card. Cinderace v from shining fates with the wonky BCCGS case. We cracked it after this video because he needed this card for his binder. Not at all worth anywhere near the 20 dollars that it cost.

I thank you for calling out those Mystery Gem boxes. Another UA-camr did one for Yugioh and it was basically the same exact card with some weird grading company. MJ Holding is definitely known for these types of scams when it comes to the graded cards. I enjoy the mystery cubes, sometimes those hold something cool but these "gems" are more like "crap" in a box. Also as a Walmart employee, just know you cannot return any sort of trading card/MJ Holding product. There is a block at the registers, I tried returning a deck I already had and it was prevented. The store was willing to do it but there was no way to bypass it, sadly. Just for future reference, Rev. The company is stupid like that.
Modern mystery boxes are almost always disappointing, the older ones (reselling om ebay) are pretty cool as you’re guaranteed to get older sets, but they are way more expensive. I wouldn’t buy mystery boxes for myself but it’s fun seeing you open them.

they do the same garbage for Yu-Gi-Oh cards, the "graded" cards are super cheap silver print cards worth $4
Walmart has bad deals a lot. No shot something good comes out.😒
Walmart Canada has them for sale for ONLY 32$ each.
Yeah, as a hockey card collector, MJ Holdings, has ripped off a lot of people, from those BCCG graded cards, to paying 50 bucks for $10 worth of packs and a bunch of base cards in their mystery cubes. They are shady AF.
Definitely gonna be terrible. Walmart products typically are.
We bought one in store before seeing this because my son got it excited about getting a graded card. Cinderace v from shining fates with the wonky BCCGS case. We cracked it after this video because he needed this card for his binder. Not at all worth anywhere near the 20 dollars that it cost.
Me and some friends openened 12 pokerev mystery packs total.
ALL 12 were green bonus packs!!
I lost my trust in Pokerev, this does not look honest.
If you calculate the chances of this happening (
Terribly heartbreaking that big retail spots are allowing this to happen in such a prominent collectors community. Pokémon reminds all of us of our childhood and for them to do shit like this is just low as fuck
THIS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT I GOT SCAMMED FROM , ONE DAY I SAW THAT A BOOSTER PACK WAS SELLING ON WALMART FOR 20 $ AND I BOUGHT IT NEXT WEEK I GOT IT AND OPENED IT AND GOT LIKE 5 cards that were basic trainers NOT EVEN A V STARIGHT UP BASICS TRAINERS AND I NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM WALMART AGIN BTW I SAVED MONEY FOR A MONTH TO GET SCAMED😢
My Walmart don’t even sell Pokémon cards anymore
I wonder if this ‘Beckett’ grading company is a group company set up by mj holdings to further reduce cost
I think they are going to be terrible, the walmart mystery boxes are all aweful
these are 40 dollars at my walmart
This is so rough. I respect how you show people auch scams even if it makes you angry which is so understandable.
And I wonder why we can’t find any of these in stores because either scrapers or UA-camrs buy 20+ of the product
Modern mystery boxes are almost always disappointing, the older ones (reselling om ebay) are pretty cool as you’re guaranteed to get older sets, but they are way more expensive. I wouldn’t buy mystery boxes for myself but it’s fun seeing you open them.
Walmart seems pretty sketch but still look fun to watch youtubers open
it's odd unless the states is different . Canadian Wal-Mart only sell Pokemon card products that are put in store by a licensed wholesaler
Should have taken these out and sent to PSA for grading to compare!
🧠!
Your video literally stopped me from buying 2 of these, did research before hand and man I'm glad I did
I know this video is kinda old now, but I just watched it and wanted to thank you for "taking the hit" and exposing this ridiculous scam. I also really hate people who take advantage of others and find loopholes in laws to do so. The way you and other UA-camrs see things and try to give back to the community instead of taking advantage of it really inspired me and I wanted to thank you for your excellent work ! 😁
