Were they milking the binder? Sure. But they were never grabby, never rude & added a needed cohesive thread to the video. Just some kids playing a game. Having fun. Snagging bangers.

Pat’s the only pokemon UA-camr that brings a tear to my eye with his videos. Seeing the community come together is why he’s my favorite pokemon UA-camr.
That moment when you realised everyone was on the other side of the store, searching through bulk piles for a single Lileep for the video… that was absolutely amazing!!!!

I’ve lost a lot of love for the games but not for the Mons ime seriously debating cracking packs and trading just so I can look at a complete Pokédex for the first time 😅
Edit: I haven’t lost my love for Pokemon because of Dexit, the games just weren’t holding my attention anymore, but the Pocket monsters themselves are always a good time.
The way Violet says "any of these" melts my cynical heart, wtf. She was so sweet!

Love Pokémon!!! Almost teared up when the mom told her son he was going to Card Party 2. Makes you realize how healthy this hobby is, enough for parents to fully support it know their kids could be into anything, both good and bad, and they choose to support Pokemon. 🔥🔥♥️🙏🏾
what i find funny is how Pat is kinda insinuating to be nice to his binder, his reactions are the best, almost crying inside while trying to be nice😂, Pat next time bring a trade binder full of COMMONS, as a prank for those kids 😂😂
He should take another binder but not as a prank though. It looked like he had nothing but awesome cards in his binder that would be unfair trades no matter what common cards were traded to him. He should take a separate binder for common trades to make them more fair trades.😅

try doing print outs of what you need and hand out to the ones who are helping so you would not be flustered and everyone can be helping effectively

The pokemon and TCG community needs more people like you. I love when you help a kid out or even an adult and the trade is way out of your favor just cause you want those people to keep collecting and make them happy. You're awesome and I love your videos keep it up! ❤
Watching these videos is helping me change how I approach Pokémon with my kids. It’s been hard to hand over my favorite cards to the little ones and watch them do things with them that make bad binder behavior look like five star treatment…
But the joy on these kids faces. And honestly that’s the point of the game. So gonna keep watching. Keep relearning how to share

With peace and love those 2 little kids who kept taking from the trade binder were too much. Pat is too sweet to say anything and I get that in the moment its overwhelming but I just wish their parents said something or Pat cut them off. I'm sure his whole trade binder is stuff that he is 100% ok parting with and its not really a big deal to him but kids should learn how to trade fairly/trading etiquette and not abuse Pats kindness. Besides that great video as always!
I let it happen, they weren’t taking advantage at all. It was my gift. Everything in the binder wouldn’t put in if I wasn’t okay offering to someone. All good!

The little kids didn't know any better, but I'm sure the parents knew what they were doing. Their parents need to teach them some etiquette and fair trade value. It was one of the first things I taught my son when he got into the hobby.
Fr, I just found it frustrating to watch especially when you compare to all the other kids giving loads of cards expecting nothing in return… obviously kids don’t know any better and pats way too generous but I would have expected the parents to say something

Maybe next trade challenge you should have a couple of trade binders, one for common cards and one for rare cards, to hopefully not repeat the Duke incident again XD
But for real, I don't think Duke, his sister, or his mom really understood the true monetary value of these cards. I'm sure Duke knew these cards were rare, but I highly doubt he was scheming up some kind of get-rich-quick venture or anything. It honestly just looks like he thought a card for a card was a fair trade, especially considering the sincere "yes" he gave you when you were joking about his trade strategy, kid logic ya know. And I think the mom knew even less about Pokemon cards haha. Still, I think it was amazing of you to just let the kids have fun and trade for what they wanted, and I'm sure many of them will appreciate it more when they grow up and realize just what bangers you practically gifted them!
Oh yeah, they didn’t know for sure and I was okay with that. Duke even said he could look for something else - I wanted to give all those to him.
I've been inspired by this adventure so much I have decided to collect a National Dex of my own...in a much more sensible sized binder. The enthusiasm and kindness on display is beautiful and what makes the community incredible! Great work Pat!

Idea for the last pokemon 1025? Graded slabbed at the back of the binder could also do #1 but then you would have to move every card one space up
As someone who is trying this I can say moving cards forward or back one is hell.Pechurant would be better by itself in a slab,then splitting up the baulbasaur line.

I absolutely love this challenge. After doing it for 10 years, I have a tip for anyone who plans to do it as well.
- In the more modern cards, underneath the picture of the Pokemon, there is a small gray box that gives you the pokemon's national Dex number, labeled by the "NO" and then the number.

That was my thought as well.
Mantyke is the least of his worries since its quite common in paradox rift the real issue is Budew who only has 2 different cards both from the diamond and pearl era like 15 years ago
