- Part 2 of our Olympic Peninsula Adventures after just returning from a true break-in trip exploring the epic west side of Washington state in my Alu Cab Canopy Camper. Let me tell you, the weather out there can be brutal, but this vehicle held up like a champ. We faced rain, wind, and even some snow, but the Alu Cab Canopy Camper kept us warm and dry. I highly recommend this setup for anyone looking to explore the great outdoors in any type of weather. Stay tuned for some amazing footage from our trip!

You did great Sean. Can’t recall; are you using OEM suspension?
Slight upgrade OMU speced for the trailer weight.
I would like to know more about the kitchen setup for the Alu Cab when it comes to cooking.
There are several configurations you can go with. I have a jet boil and propane stove for most of my cooking. If I was to do it again, I would buy an Expendiction Essentials combo cooktop and drop-down shelf. That was not an option when I built mine out.
How did the Shadow Awning hold up. Did you have to poke it to get the water off it? Did you have it open during the night?
It did great. I did prop my devos light pole under to help water runoff a certain section. I plan on keeping pool noodle in my setup. You can use small pieces to create space under the awning and support frame to allow water to flow better.
@@seandawnvantures2001 thanks for the tip.
...sooo how DID the Alu-Cab do in the rain? I assume no leaks?
Amazingly, and it was pouring out!
Gosh, could u have a least wiped the rain off of your windshield while filming yourself driving in the rain? 😅
