Such a huge honor to have you and your wife up here. My son plays with the monster truck you gave him every day 🙌
Great video as always my friend
We were so thankful to have you as our guide! We couldn't have asked for a better host in the PNW. Monster trucks rule!
Really GREAT to see Christopher wheelin with you Nate at the young age of 4.
I love how Christopher re-enacted Brad getting the the Power Wagon. I think it was spot on!
Nate your boy is so cute! My 4 are all boy scouts but they are mostly moody preteen buttheads hahahaha. So im really glad to see you're starting to take them out more, cause before you know it they wont be so sweet anymore.
Let’s talk about those shoes though Nate.
This episode had all the feels! Christopher opening his presents, Brad and Regina showing us the spot they were married… loved it!
"I have no idea where I'm going."
Sounds like a good start!
Should be printed on a shirt as well lol
1:39 Good to see Olympic Corrections Center get a shout out. Best six months of my life. 😉
Amazing video! I had the biggest smile and laughed so hard at Christopher's reaction opening his presents! He was so adorable opening those. Loved that you included that part.
Great to see your wife now part of the TrailRecon adventures. Looking forward to a woman's take on the truck, camper, gear and travel!
America's best kept secret. Even at the height of summer it's never 'busy'. In the winter you have the whole place to yourself. If you ever wonder whether your camping stuff is waterproof, you'll find out there! We used to go up there with my school to see the progress of the Elwha dam removal restoration project every year. After 3 years the area was completely unrecognizable from before - crazy how fast nature comes back in that area. You guys drove by lake crescent on your way to Port Angeles which was created from a landslide that dammed the existing outflow of the river and then filled up to empty in a different location. The whole area is a blast
Love seeing nick and you together and can’t wait to see Marco back on with you
Me being 19, I've lived here in Southern washington for 15 years. Love the forest and coast. Recognize alot of things in the video. My fam have a suburban. Things a beast.
"This is my wife's first big adventure" -> the best company for a long journey!
Very cool video. It is awesome that you are able to do this with your wife. It's funny because we may have been stationed in that area at the same time. I was stationed at the submarine base from about 1987-1995. I did a tour on the USS Florida SSBN 728 Blue, and an instructor tour at Trident Training Facility Bangor. My Corpsman on the boat got the command to send myself and and another guy to EMT school at Bremerton Naval Hospital. He was the only HM we had, and he wanted some medical trained backup on the boat, so he sent a couple of submarine ETs to school! That training eventually parlayed itself into paramedic school and the current job I have as a professional fire fighter. If you ever get out here to Tennessee, let me know and I could show you around a bit. That was really cool to see that area again.
27 years!! Congratulations Brad and Regina That's awesome!!! Beverly and I just had our 25th, you guys looked awesome in the wedding photo.!!!
Love the interaction between you and your wife. 27 years of marriage and 3 young men to show for it. Well done Brad and thank you and your boys for yalls service.
Our rainforest is amazing, thanks for visiting. Port Angeles is a non-rainy city in the middle of the NW, but with all the benefits of the rain we get. You guys were breathing the cleanest oxygen on Earth!
I love the hoh. My grandparents have land along the hoh River. They have a cabin now, haven't been there in about 20 years, maybe more. Lots a good childhood memories made there
I watched this the day of my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you for such a beautiful video and showing people more into your life. Belated Congratulations to the both of you !
Omg that little guy pulling out the tissue from the gift bags is fantastic! Happy birthday, Christopher! 🎉
The BEST thing about camping, whether tent, in camper, backpacking or otherwise is waking up, making and sipping COFFEE! I like your wok-thing. This summer I did buy the little red fire, didn’t know until I saw these vids that you are supposed to turn the lid over and set it on top. I love it because it is manageable and have a little 5lb tank to go with it and/to my outdoor cook stove.
I am a 35 year old Paleontology student and I have that exact T rex toy on my shelf... Love it!
i love seeing people enjoy this beautiful state of ours!
Love Washington state and kids at that age are so much fun.
I grew up in Snoqualmie and never made it out to the Peninsula for camping. Now that I’m in Utah I’ve sort of forgotten how magical it is up there. A grip back home is much needed
Brad I am so jealous, I also was stationed at Ft Lewis back in the early 80’s and fell in love with Washington State.. Happy you are enjoying the trip. Even hiked up Mt Rainer.
Where is Marco gone? Missing his big smile
Life and work sometimes have to come first, he’ll be about again soon
@@TrailRecon I'm glad to hear this. You and Marco are an awesome Team. Love your Trips.
Definitely not the same without Marco
Nothing better in this world than hearing the happy laughter of a child.
Bout my first Jeep Saturday. A Rubicon Gladiator with a manual transmission. Got $4000 off. The best part was the next day my wife and I took the tops off, and just drove around in the country. In 21 years of marriage, we had such an awesome day! It was truly an experience with the open air and just relaxing and taking in the sights. Love my Gladiator and what it’s capable of. Special moments!!
Best video ever. Christopher’s reaction to birthday gifts, the way he just tore into them, just priceless, to your wedding venue. I can’t wait for the next one!
The overlanding is great. The off-roading and wheeling is also amazing. However, i want to thank you guys for introducing us to your families and sharing the quality time you spend with them with us. I truly feel honored and thankful
Absolutely loved this and your next day's adventures! I'll be showing both to the love of my life. She loves camping but is a bit fearful of getting too far away from the pavement. I think Regina's attitude will calm her fears, at least a bit. Thanks again, This is truly becoming family friendly. I do have you beat a bit; SWMBO and I have been married for 48 years. Oh, please make it over to eastern WA and northern ID, and western MT. The folks here will show you a good time. Dale
Such a great video...watching Chris with the presents was so fun. Having the opportunity to go back to the spot where you and your wife got married is priceless. I bet it was incredible to relive that memory and think of all thats happened since then.
Hey, you guys were right here in my back yard ' Ocean Shores ' my house views the ocean on the 3rd beach entrance. So happy for you guys, bummed I didn't run into you.
I'm originally from Washington then lived in Oregon now live in Arizona so this was very special to watch!!! Made me home sick but love every minute of it. Thanks!
27 years ago?? Regina seems to have found the fountain of youth! Looks like an amazing time with Nate and family. Well done!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful country. Never been that far West or North in the U.S. Thanks for sharing. WOW!!
Thanks for sharing your travel thru the N.W. I am from Issaquah but now reside in Redmond Oregon. It's great to see my back yard I played in for 45yrs. It was also kool for you to share your wedding spot. I travel up to Washington and play for 6 weeks every spring. Thanks Again . Around Bend Oregon out on 2 wheels.
Glad you enjoyed our trip through the PNW. We have lots of great memories from there.
Yes that was priceless the little boy’s birthday super cool memories forever
Loved the show and got a real kick out of watching the little boy Christopher, and his gifts, it's clear he is following after his father's footsteps with a love for the country and camping. Brad, I'm happy to see you now have your wife with you on these trips. Brad, I only joined four months ago here on TrailRecon and E3 Overland and hope to join the crew after I have sold my home in San Marcos, ca. I plan on getting a Gladiator my self following you and Marco work on your jeeps by that Time I hope to have set my roots down for the last time in Northwest Montana in the town of Libby. Keep up the awesome work you do here and E3 Overland. God bless you and Regina your wife as well as Marco, look forward to seeing him. Semper Fi.
Thank you! I'm excited that Regena will be joining me on some more upcoming adventures. Thanks for being a member and excited for you and your upcoming adventure plans!
Perfect timing, Beautiful trip, everyone looks to have survived the bugs and had beautiful weather, now we have forest fires and bad air, and still no rain. Love your video blogs Brad, your always down to earth and just a good person. Maybe you and the wife will renew your vows back where it all started.
Awesome trip guys reaction with Christopher was priceless
Your videos are very entertaining, Thank you for sharing.
Edit: 23:06 4X4 rig as a birthday gift for the little one? I see what you'll did there. 😄

That meal was right out of the West African playbook. Looked delicious! Amazing how universal good food and good company are. Enjoy your journey.
Welcome back I'm doing the same this summer finding Washington memories.
Great to see you and Regina out enjoying adventures together. Thanks for taking us along. Safe travels!
Love love this family time !! ... and that cloud inversion :) WOW... the birthday joy on that boy's face was priceless. This might be your best video Brad... all the feels.
My mind was blown when I woke up to the clouds below! Thank you so much!
Awesome.. just awesome. So happy to see Regina with you Brad. So many special spots and memories. Thanks for the ride and looking forward to the rest of your trip.. Oh.. The Birthday Boy is priceless.. Josh you're a great Dad and team leader..All the Best to you all.
Was just up that way the 15th through the 18th of July with my wife and daughter. We had to stop right along that lake because my daughter was car sick lol. It was part of a 6500 mile road trip in my JL. Absolutely beautiful country.
Love it man especially seeing the families out there! We’ve got two boys and this is making us really wanna get back out there and do some wheelin and camping!
This is SO wholesome. Great work Brad, and thanks for sharing 👏👏
Awesome video, Brad! Great people and amazing vehicles!!! That Gladiator is cool! I live in Washington state and get to enjoy the scenery all the time!
Thanks for the great video Brad this one had what it's all about. Christopher tearing in to his presents made me smile.....thanks for sharing. Now you got me looking at maps of Washington. My grandmother lived in Oregon and I've explored that state but this was added to my to do list.
It's great to be out with friends, but even better with family! You've got to add Washington to your bucket list!
What a great video. The state of Washington looks Beautiful. I live for the beautiful views. Your wife reminds me of mine. We are blessed. Please keep traveling, don't stop!!!!
I used to work in basically downtown Seattle back in 1994 the clip of you on the freeway then across the floating bridge was my route home everyday. Glad you brought up some Socal weather with you.
One of you're best videos! Thanks for sharing you're adventures with our family! Happy Trails!
This is awesome. There are plenty of people (videos) overland down other states in the south, but nothing beat watching this since I live here in Seattle.
This video had me with tears in my eyes. Awesome. Thanks for sharing!
I think someone needs to teach that kid some “leave no trace” principles.
Just kidding. That was a great birthday for the little guy!
So lucky to have this as our backyard. I so enjoyed riding along with your visit. Thanks Brad for all the great videos.
I guess I'm a local, I recognized the Rocky Brook Road and Spencer Creek. Thanks for sharing , cool to see my backyard in your videos.
At 26:26 you’ve got to love seeing the look of all the homeless people who are living in tents in what looked like and appeared to be in downtown Seattle, Washington. It’s really sad to see too!
Beautiful scenery except at 26:28 where you can see a glimpse of the homeless campsite in Seattle. Other than that, great show guys.
Puget Sound includes the waters of Hood Canal, Admiralty Inlet, Possession Sound, Saratoga Passage, and others. It does not include Bellingham Bay, Padilla Bay, the waters of the San Juan Islands or anything farther north. :)
Congratulations on 27 years plus Happy Birthday to little Nate!! Washington is awesome and great video all of you.
Thanks so much!!
America is such a beautiful country, people take it for granted!
Nate’s son is so precious! What a great trip you had!
So glad you came to the beautiful PNW! I’ve wanted to go to Forest Hoh too before we move away.
You had a great host Nate!! 🤗
Fun adventure!! And your wife is beautiful! ❤️🐞
Nice content guys. Nice trucks and nice food. But special shoutout to Josh. Hi Sir I'm from Philippines and it's my honor that you recognized and knows how to cook a Filipino Dish. 🇵🇭
Simple but great meals along with good company will cement the memorable overland adventure. Hugggsss from Malaysia.
As somebody who grew up in eastern Washington -- it's wild to see my home state showcased like this.
Amazing adventure brad ! Thank you for the epic videos
Thank you!
Washington state home sweet home , shout out from la Baja California Sur Los Cabo’s 🇲🇽
Nate’s shoes and shorts combo is awesome
Awesome.. I wish all this beauty of nature stays here for our future generations to enjoy as well..
After having just gotten home from a 5 week roadtrip to the Pacific Northwest and to the Olympic National forest in our truck camper it's neat to see your video of your trip! What a cool meet up you all had! It's a beautiful part of the country and I hope my video's do it as much justice as yours! Thanks man!
We live in Washington and would love to meet you guys. We are huge fans and fallow you religiously. We wish you safe travels!
Loving the FWC videos. We just bought a Northstar 850SC pop up camper and love it. Funny thing is my wife also keeps calling it a trailer. 😂
Nice job SoCalX with the Filipino dish!!!
Wow! Welcome to our little part of Washington! From the Kitsap Peninsula. Poulsbo, Wa!!
Brad, thanks for sharing. My wife and I got married last year, we planned it at the same venue. Covid changed those plans and we had to relocate the wedding, but it is a very beautiful spot. Showed the video to my wife and it brought a tear to her eye. Looking forward to the next video!
That’s where I’m from
When I was young I moved away to San Diego for a couple years wound up missing the rain and the steel grey sky’s.
Thanks for sharing this video. I've been watching your vids as I plan out my jeep rig --- and didn't realize you were up in the PNW! We live in Bainbridge Island and it was fun to see you passing through the Poulsbo/BI neighborhoods plus all the Olympic/Cascade sights that we treasure up here.
Washington is a beautiful state and we love it there!
Loved his video as much as I loved the one with your son. Quality of the video is really top notch. It's like I'm watching a movie made by a sizeable production crew/staff. Keep these kinds of videos coming! Oh, and loved the birthday present bit too. :)
Just for the record the movie wasn't actually filmed there. My wife and I made the same mistake and took a trip out there while in the area. They do have a museum for the movie though and it was such a beautiful area that it ended up being a happy accident and we had a great time.
Thanks for showing the beauty of my home state also I saw you guys rolling down the highway didn't think of it much at the time that it could have been you, I was like man I want one of those that looks like fun.
Amazing you had such great weather in the Rain Forrest - that was a rare moment. I love La Push on Tribal lands right at the ocean. Old growth forrest right up to the Pacific Ocean - a very powerful spot.
My wife and I also got married at Kitsap memorial just last year! Cool to see we have that in common.
Welcome to Washington State love this channel thank you sir for your service
Faboulous journey, so nice to see the young man along and being educated in life skills and adventure.
Awesome video Brad!!! Beverlys sister lives up in that region.... Love the way your wife called your camper the " Thing " LOL LOL
Awesome adventure what a special moment to be back where you got married an seeing nates son opening his presents good stuff gorgeous scenery much respect to you Regina Nate josh as always be safe 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Really digging the narration. As a kid I used to go visit my Grandparents in Port Angeles. We'd go eat in Squim (sp?). Some very cool (& very old) memories you guys touched on there. Thanks for that.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Wow outstanding views for sure! And the food looks great, just don’t get any better cooking outdoors and the scenery yeah happy camping
Too cool you guys came threw my stopping grounds ..PNW proud
I have taken that trip many times. Great areas to camp and fish. Spirit lake is beautiful.
Yeah this is what I’m talking about!! Appreciate you sharing your adventure, this is what I love to do being out in nature.I’ll be following for more happy camping
Happy anniversary,to you both. Happy birthday to Christopher!
By far the best and most interesting cooking channel on UA-cam!!!
Wish i could join a tour with you guys, i like to eat, and a little bit Off-roading between all the good Food. 😅😅😅
Welcome to Washington my friends. The weather faired in your favor. Thank god for all of you 😂😎👊💪
I make the trek from Ohio to the West Coast every year and I usually stop and do some camping in Okanogan National Forest and many other places, but by the far, the West is amazing landscape. Just traded my 2018 JKU in for a 2022 Gladiator Mojave so I am looking forward to some more fun soon, as Spring arrives. Love your channel and love your videos. Keep up the great work.
Sir I accidentally found your channel and I am already addicted to it...you make amazing videos...lots of love and respect from India 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
Can’t wait to get back up to the PNW! Just got orders back there after being stationed overseas and in Texas for the past 10 years. Time to get it on!!!
