Brilliant video Mon. Have to say I'm loving the colour of that Scott. It's stunning. Nothing beats being out on the bike when the sun is shining. Thanks for sharing & stay safe.
Always enjoy your vids, love the scenery stops and the beauty of England. The new kit looks sharp. Always look forward to your uploads, keep up the good work.
I live in Canada now so your videos are a great reminder of how beautiful England is. Your videos are interesting and well balanced. Very easy to watch, thank you.
Loved the video Mon, finding new road is pretty much why I love riding. I'm thinking of coming down to the peak district just for the riding. Agree with the jersey looking awesome. Hope to see another explorer video soon. Stay safe!!!
What an amazing little village that is! Looking amazing Monica, and congratulations on you becoming an ambassador for Scott! :) PS: I feel your hayfever pain!
Hey Mon, great to see my old training ground from the 80s...god I feel old.. Looked like a great day and you are doing so well... Take care 🌸 ride safe.. 😃
Would love to see a ride out to Tegs Nose via the Old Buxton Road, to Bottom-of-the-oven (sounds like an interesting name to research), connect to the old Macclesfield Road (heading towards Buxton), to the turning to go with the Goyt River Down to Errwood Reservoir, The Street to Windgather Road, up to Kettleshume, then home.
You need to go up to Hathersage booths (surprise view on strava) and Abney village. They are in the same area as Eyam but both mega climbs. I used to do a lot my training around there
I recently drove to the peaks and started in Eyam! I wasn’t really prepared some some of the climbs (Mam tor destroyed me 60k in) but it was such and awesome morning! I kept stopping to take photos so the ride took way longer than it needed to be 😂 it also looks like we did the same kind of route but I did it the opposite way you did!
You should get yourself over to Holmfirth climb up Dovestones near Greenfield drop down into Holmfirth for a coffee at Bloc and then do Holme Moss climb!
If this was yesterday I ascended and descended Cat Fiddle. Was lovely at 5pm. Didn’t have time to loop it Buxton back Stockport. Just up down. Strange one. Rides need to be a loop. It’s the law.
Apparently the tourists flock to "plague village". Doesn't sound like somewhere you'd like to visit, but hey...people try to go to Chernobyl and such as well. People are odd. :P Lovely ride as always. Ideas: Hill Climbs, Long sportives in summer/early autumn (with a group?), long rides (mainly solo challenges...until your mum picks you up ^^' ), ask your subs for their best road(!) cycling routes within X km radius of Manchester and go ride it. For next year, maybe set a few bigger goals for events/challenges to do throughout the year, to kind of have a bigger storyline always going in the background during the year building up to them. Hope it helps give you some ideas you like. :)
Here is my wish, mid ride cake review. Stop at a nice local shop, ask an old lady which is the best cake, live bite-by-bite feedback :o) Also, maybe you should check your audio levels. The music is much louder than chatting
How’s about climb 2000ft in only a 20 mile ride? Like a repeat mini circuit 😊 Or just for the banter try a decent climb on a fixed gear bmx , will you make it to the top? 😂
Mon without any rings, it’s like a glitch in the matrix 😂
😂😂😂👏🏽👏🏽
That little town looked to be from another era, glad you made it out. Loved all the stone houses.

Lovely blue skies on that ride, you caught that one day of summer we are allowed this year.

I have the same Scott helmet. It's so comfy compared to my previous Lazer and Kask helmets
Nice kit Blue is my fav color, How do you like the Wahoo? What wheels are you using on the Scott?
Really nice countryside thanks for sharing.
Great video 👏👏
Plague village...yikes 😬 turned out to be a proper decent ride ...nice one👍
Nice ride. Nice day. Wonderful.
Hayfever is the absolute pits this year for whatever reason. 🙈 Looked like a nice spin it's great finding those little gems along the way. 👌
Yours Eyes & bikes so beautiful😍💓
That bike though 😍😍
beautiful hay!!!!

Your new Scott has the cleanest front end I have seen. Slick and fast looking, even when sitting still.
mega isnt it!! completely obsessed!
@@monicadew9478 how much does it weigh?
Did you miss the courtyard cafe in Eyam? And the Brewery, actually the brewery is the main reason we stop there 😊
another gooden 👍🏻 what pump is that ? i need a new one that connects to my bike
It’s just a bottle cage pump holder off Amazon, works a treat
Come over to n/Yorkshire. It’s really beautiful.
Maybe join one of the sportive’s that go on around the country - great to see you interacting with more riders
You were looking at Stock Hall and Froggatt.
You should get yourself over to Holmfirth climb up Dovestones near Greenfield drop down into Holmfirth for a coffee at Bloc and then do Holme Moss climb!
Your music choices are lovely, what are they? Another great video
All music is from Epidemic Sound!
@@monicadew9478 Thank you

Looking lean! Have you been on a shred if so can you give example of what you eat in a day and how many calories
That way into Eyam is unsuitable for cars as the hill has had quite a few landslides in recent years so the council want to minimise weight etc on it.
Nice jersey!
What’s the bottle cage and pump cage called ??
Maybe I haven't kept up, but will we see you and Cam in another video again soon?
With what camera you made this video?
Thanks Mon x
thank you.

Have you been doing voiceover work?
Let’s see you ride up hardknotts pass, but no stopping:-)
Bright orange jersey would look really nice on you & you ll be seen alot more on the road. Make more videos thanks
Keep showing us the Peak District on your bike
Praying for you!!

"What do you eat during a bike trip?"
You have such amazing eyes.
Thanks.
CONTACT Katie Kookaburra (near Manchester) and do a 200 Km plus ride with her
Your eyes are insane.
Crazy idea. I help teaching kids to ride at a youth club. In the storeroom are two unicycles. What about trying to cycle 1km on a unicycle.?
What makes you say the Eyam villagers seem stuck in their ways? Did you have an altercation that you cut out of your video 😆
Such a pretty girl and a great athlete as well.
Black Death !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you and cam still a couple?
No
we’re not no
@@monicadew9478 very sorry to hear Mon
