The following companies (that you'll see in my content) support me either financially or with free stuff, so huge thanks to these guys for helping me with the challenges I take on:
Argon 18, Enve, Le Col, Lazer Helmets, Shimano, Schwalbe Tires, Sungod Eyewear, Tailfin Cycling, Styrkr, Exposure Lights, Garmin, Fox and products from Saddleback brands.
Great to see a video on the routes I often ride and suffer :) Next time maybe include Goytt valley and Cat and the fiddle.
P.S. I am guilty of doing it the past but apparently you are not supposed to throw banana peals in the hedges.
Yeah I don’t think he realised that to be fair
My last ride was 770 m of climbing ... was weeping while eating pizza at end 😂🤣🚴♂️🤠🤯
But you did it man!
Littering with thrown banana skin not good😢
I'm Looking to dive into the world of gravel ultra distance around Europe... recently got back into cycling seriously since i was a little lad racing in the UK. No idea where to start and how to do this, so a very weak plan at the moment - just a dream. Any tips ? - would be amazingly appreciated! :) Much love! Keep up the great work!
Just go out and enjoy exploring, thats the biggest thing. Take the pressure away :)
I would say the Lakes is the best place to cycle but I’m biased 😊 in the peaks in a few weeks though. I know a lot just go past that fence even GCN did
Yeah I have heard that now. Didn't know that though and also feels bad when it clearly says it's closed and don't cross
@@ChrisHallRides agree Chris plus the dismount sign too, you can always come back up the lakes and do hardknott again 👀😬
Your mate did alright in the end, after that dire prediction of blowing up after 30k. Good way to spend the solstice though, pretty views from up there. Thanks for the doggo at the end, funny little mutant he was and so glad to be reunited.
He did fantastic. Never doubted it
That looked a pretty savage day out, think Alex would want all the food after that.
Totally!
Very enjoyable video, Chris. thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Rowsley Bar is also great climb with switchbacks. Its located between bakewell and matlock.
Oh yeah that’s a fantastic edition
I went to the cafe at back of bike shop in Hope good one to try 👌
Great to know thank you!
Thorncliffe bank thrilling descent 🤗
One of the best around!
Noo don't throw the banana peel please 😭
GCN, cam Jeffers and others have ridden up that climb when it's been closed. great effort but you chickened out on that climb lol
Thanks for the info. It’s closed for a reason and we discussed that it’s probably not wise to when there’s roadworks happening on it at the moment. We checked. Also nothing wrong with changing plans. It’s not chickening out as you put it. Do what you want, ride what you like but don’t cuss others for their choices
@@ChrisHallRides it's all good I wasn't cussing you out as you put it I was just making a joke as I dont know anyone that would even try that climb at 35%. Change is good on a ride your right its all adaptive thats the world we live in.
